With the possible March abduction of a young Mother named Kathleen Johns and her daughter in Stanislaus County, as well as the sadistic April murder of lamp designer Robert Salem in San Francisco, the police were kept busy. Capping it off was a 13 character cipher from Zodiac that has yet to be solved to this day.
