the same thing as Wag has with the show. I can't explain this fucking character, the fucking backflips, the twists and turns that have led to this. But as it stands, he's a good boy. He's just a good boy who's trying to follow orders but also feels responsible for keeping all of these people here alive. And those two things are conflicting, and that's that's just that's the biggest thing conflicting for him right now. Yeah, that's all just

So you snap back to reality and he's now trying to figure out what's going on and also trying to figure out why he's in better shape than he was before. But he's not complaining about that. So I similarly have no idea what's going to happen. We could all die, we could all live, we could all live happily ever after in a house together and be this sitcom. I don't know, but whatever we'll find out. I would be like full House, Spancer House Scuse, where everybody knows your name exactly and people like ste just walks in Stow.

He's like a research scientist who's been studying the firmament and such, and he may be a good reason why we all now know what's going on sort of maybe, But also he's a bit of a mystery because there's some stuff that we still don't know about him that I actually don't even know. I'll be dragging the players, kicking and screaming through the adventure. Today. There have been a lot of things happen, but one thing, there's just a couple things to touch on

before we actually get started with the episode. Today. for the for for giving them a promotional link there. And just another shout out to the players for last episode. I think you all did tremendously well. Just just you had some really amazing performances last episode. So I just wanted to just mention that and and and uh yeah, I just I was rewatching stuff again just to you know, prepare for today's episode, and I just I wanted to mention that I think you all did so well. Anyway, let's get started. Time to play our anime intro get in the right

headspace for the show. Let's do it here. We got We don't even know what that headspace is anymore. Yeah, the year is fifty sixteen U. After many failures, humanity has reached new heights. Union is responsible for all of it. It is the Tyrant, the Watcher, and the guiding hand. The Third Committee watches over Humanity, but is stretched Things and gretzsloom from the own ascendancy, overreaching corporal states, remnants of the Second Committee,

and other unknown dangers. Union scrambles to cope with the vast size of the hegemony and these threats by relying on unorthodox means. On the last episode of Zero Blue Orion, a lot of things happened. Uh. We had what I like to call a breakthrough episode because a lot of characters, the player's characters started to come back to themselves. Heath's persona returned to the group.

They ran into Lieutenant Commander Desorra, who was trying to I guess interrogate the group to find out if there had been any further advancements made in the firmament interaction, and specifically with doctor Zephyr. Some names were searched. Heath was trying to do some searching and seemed like there were some red flags that were sort of checked. After doing so, the group saw Tivious leave a holographic message to Wyatt after finding a basically some sort of data device on on Wyatt,

Wyatt putting in the password the Picnic story as as the password. It's aw a holographic message left from Tivious, who dropped some bombs on the player's characters that that Second Committee was in fact sort of running things in their current situation, and that there were a lot of a lot of things happening behind the scenes, and that Tivious was at least at first unknowingly working for the

Second Committee as well, and apparently murdered. The admiral that was that was sort of in charge of the whole thing was found to be left alive when Wyat accessed his Firmament abilities, allowing him to sort of telport himself to a different space. Stu had sort of come back to himself as well, and

the group had found out that Luca had died. Fie sort of started to make appearances as well, and her slash Gabriella brought everyone into the Firmament in a sort of shared space, a memory space, and showed them this unbelievably amazing sort of gigantic mech, the Blue Orion an Ounich design. They saw a memory representation of Luca that was created by Effie, and Effie and Gabriella had a chance to talk to each other inside the firmament, and it was

a difficult moment for Effie. She was sort of struggling with her own identity, I think, and leaving this place. When we ended the episode last session, Effie slash Gabriella was remaining behind in the firmament. The rest of the group had sort of been expelled from their and in the memories Stu sort of forcefully so. And we start the session today with the four of you back in doctor Zephyr's uh makeshift lab and f E slash Gabriella nowhere to be

seen. What do you do? Who is the last person out? Stu? Why are we putting her in the tube? I think we were. The doctor just said that the tube might give us access or someone access. We were going to say, because he already had the nice suit on. You both did technically, but if you're going to do it, do it now. I've been in it too long? How does it work? Do I just go in and that's it? Hey, yes, you go in and ease your mind. There'll be a breather in there as well, and

he gestures to the tubing and the mouthpiece that's dangling from the top. Okay, all right, I'll go in. I'll see if I can bring her back. Wish me luck, good luck, good luck, thank you. Stud's gonna head on over to the tank. Suit up. Okay. I think Heath will just be avoiding eye contacts off because he doesn't want to go in the tank, and half because he knows he probably should, given he's the most experienced with tanks, because he just doesn't want to get in that

damn tank again. So he's just doing that thing where he's just looking looking away. I think the doctor heads over to a to the probably a panel on the side of the or like an arm on the side of the tube, and he swings it out and he starts booting up and initiate initiating the boot sequence for the for the tube and such. He begins trying to clear his mind like he would for a role to play a character. He tries to start with a blank slate he tries to close his eyes and he does

a breathing technique. He looked it up on the omni net one time. So he does a weird pose as well. It's it's like very strange, like almost a half yoga position, suppose. Okay, Yeah, it's just Stew's way of like clearing his mind. So you see him and he's like he's like doing this. He's got like one leg bent and he's just breathing

just like a like ah the dabbing on the sun post. Okay, alrighty, So uh you get into the tube, uh, and you know it's it's filled with liquid and it's meant to uh the liquid's oxygenated, so you're meant to like breathe normally. And uh, I think there's a weird transition there, like do you go in like holding your breath? You can hold your breath for a long time in this sort of you know modified body that you have, mm hmm. Let Stu know that you could breathe in the

water up to you, guys. Stu starts like he's freaks out a little bit. He like looks at the dock and he starts like pounding on the glass. Oh, everything should be fine. Go ahead and breathe normally. You'll be fine. I'm ahead of a fish. Yes, the it's it's oxidator. You should be fine in there. If you need any help, all the mouthpiece there is for assistance has oxygen if you need. Already feel I feel like I'm in a bag of jelly. Yes, it's quite a

sensation. All right, I'm gonna tried it. Relax now he goes back into his pose. There's a few fart bubbles that you see, like travel up behind him. Sorry, I'm nervous, all right, just trying to relax. She's gonna completely relax. He's thinking of nothing, which isn't hard for still, it's just default state pretty much. And she says, now, I'd like to introduce our next guest, the most famous actor in the world, Stu Flanagan, author of The Galaxy's bestseller one hundred and one Ways to Seduce Your Ways to Success. Stu erupts from this giant cloud of confetti and he struts his way across the stage. People are going nuts. Everyone is what. It's like a It's like a frenzy. And Stu just blowing kisses. He's got a big poster of himself just lit up the backstage. He's thinking and taking

bows. He's a couple of people like trying to run up on stage, but like security like pulls them back. Okay, fantastic. Yeah, people like a freaking out, just like screaming there, like pulling it like your clothes and stuff in the guards and like Stu sits down. Was it? Oh yeah? Oh, Riah says to sue, Stu, you started from nothing. An unknown actor that just suddenly blew up out of nowhere? How

did you do it? Wait? Well, I'd like to first of all, I'd like to think my humble beginnings, because that's where I have gotten most of my humility from. And let's be honest, I'm a pretty humble guy. Yeah, you know, that's just what life is, just being as humble as you possibly can and just being rewarded for your humbleness. I guess I don't know if you want me to continue having a blast as long as you want with this. I don't want to take up all the time.

But basically it just goes on and on, like basic trivia. They do a couple of like fun like Ellen Degenero's style games, and you see like you see like off in the corner, like a crying Blanson who is now a pa working on stage covered in like acne. He's covered in acne. It's like I guess he's like working like the lights and of it. He's just like side of the camera like for us. The camera like zooms in on his butt and he's just got the flattest butt, like it's just

a pancake. He does one of those things where it's like, oh, come on, Blanton's just had a hard time, like one of those asshole moves where it's like, look, how I like horriblest life is now I'm taking pity on him. It just goes on like it ends in the best way. Uh. He is given a Golden Key they give out these awards on The Oriah Show, and he is awarded best Guest of the Century. They gave it to him for that long and that's just kind of how it

concludes. Absolutely, while this is happening all of you outside the tube here Stu doing those voices of the different people, it seems here that is readings are off the charts. He's definitely in his happy place, right, hoping levels are exceedingly high. Can we like, while he's in there, maybe bring somebod the other one back? Was that dangerousa be? What the capable

one? Yeah? All right, I understand sometimes people just aren't as blessed and as good looking as me. But if you try hard enough and you buy my book, you just might you just might get there. So I might see if I can smuggle a couple of pistols or something. So what's our actual plan? I go to the armory, pretend to me Michael, and what smuggles and raffles out in case we decide to make a break for it. That's exactly the plan. And then we're gonna go and see if we can find Assurer since

she's in on this. Maybe if I let her know that we're in on it too and can get some information, and we think we can trust her, do we is because we slipped something in your pocket? you've been having a difficult time. I think in the for a moment, a lot of your memories have started to resurface, especially the really sad ones. You've sort of recreated Luca and you've been communicating with Effie slash Gabriella. You've expressed some interests in not leaving. You sent everybody out, so it's just kind of this memory of Luca, Effie and Gabriella in the space.

What are you doing? I think we see I think we see gab standing off kind of in the background, watching what Effie might be doing in her interaction with Luca. This is, you know, happened a lot.

This is why Gabriella was brought here. And I think I think probably after the after Effie pushes out STO, I think the scene changes to the cafeteria, the mess hall, and they are all probably sitting around everybody's there eighty nine hundred two, and they're eating, joking about nut sauce, and I think I think Gab probably knows that there's no use trying to talk to Effie right now, but she'll probably just watch laughing, having a good time.

Luca's there, I should not so why it's doing that stupid thing with the knife when he tried to figure out if he had superpowers. Yeah, yeah, let me try and then if he feels happy and good and so she's gonna lose yourself in that memory for a while. How does Gabriella feel watching this sad? I think we all know kind of what that's like sometimes, to just not want to face reality and go back to a nostalgic time when everything was good and better. I have no idea what you're talking about.

It's like watching someone who has all of the tools to help themselves, but they just refuse to do it. So it's probably a little bit frustrating, but mostly just sad. And I don't know if I, as Gab know how to wake up. I know I have tried before to ease Effie out and wake her up and get her out of this place. She just doesn't want to. Can I pilot? Can I wake up? Or do I have to stay here and wait until Doc wakes me up that your Gabriella character

sheet has a trigger that's as Firmament. You gave me another character she thank you. Okay. So, okay, what I'd like for you to do is specifically tell me what you are trying to do right now. I think I'm torn between. I think I'm torn between trying to help her or just kind of taking the wheel again. But I don't really know what good that will do. If I, you know, pilot or take control, it'll just make it harder probably for her next time to come around. I feel

like this is the closest she's ever come to wanting to it again. Uh, And it was when she was able to be with everybody in this space. Can I what is Gabriella trying to do with the Firmament? Can I pull because e Fie kicked them out? Can I pull them in? Can you pull the rest of the group in? If you're asking, Oh, I think so. But I'm going to say, you've got a difficulty of two on this. Okay, so you can roll Firmament. But with the difficulty of two, okay, yikesh, So what do you think happens when

They're not motivated by that. They just want to fuck around, and he doesn't understand why they're not incredibly afraid of

everything that's happening around them. And he's also I think, very scared that we're all gonna die or be re caught or whatever. You know, he really wants to get on with this thing and try and get everyone out and get them safe. He's got a looming and impending sense of a need to get these people to safety that's stronger than he's had ever on a mission or doing training and stuff like that. It's just that's it. I think it's

just this desperate need to try and get everyone to safety. And it's not necessarily get on with the go find the Blue Oriyan. It's not necessarily like escape or take the ship. It's just this singular focus and that's the motivation, as opposed to the or the guns. But he's set aal bloody systems so he can't go anywhere. So he's sitting down in the middle of the room, and whoever wakes up first, he's gonna probably grab them. That's

all it is. I think he's just sitting there. Okay, you sit down surrounded by these people that are seemingly incapable of completing anything or doing anything. To your stand I do not believe that they are answer pilots at all. Maybe Heath, okay, you're you're probably like just hearing their general sleep sound and whatnot.
