Dr. Ufere is a transplant hepatologist and medicine instructor in the gastroenterology division at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA. Her work focuses on building palliative and supportive care interventions and increasing health care system empathy to improve the quality of life and care for patients with advanced liver disease and their caregivers. She is also an alumnae of our Get That Grant coaching program!
Listen in as we discuss her coaching journey and:
- How she got away from labeling herself with a job title to getting to the heart of what actually drives her
- The steps she took to ensure that she built a career she loved from the get-go
- The coaching tool that helped her shift how she respects and values her time
- The value she found in the freedom to disappoint people on behalf of her goals
- The coaching fundamental that has led to her obtaining true productivity precision
- What it looked like to view her grant as an informational pathway instead of judgment on her own value (spoiler alert: she #gotthegrant!)
