My guest has over 20 years of clinical experience, is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, and also had the experience of having been a patient who had an eating disorder as well.
Her motivation to help others was that she never had anyone during all her treatment, was someone who could look her in the eye and honestly say to her, "Hey, I've been there. I understand".
She speaks frankly about the different eating disorders, how pervasive it is, and the successful modalities of treatment.
