81. You're Wrong About "Nope" Being a Horror Movie
Episode description
For the third episode of Halloween Month, Chris, Luciano, Matt and Spencer decided they wanted to be topical and watch a recently released horror movie. None of them are avid fans of the horror genre, but given the month's theme and the possibility of talking about something more current, they thought it was worth giving it a try.
Alas, the movie they picked was Nope. 😑
In their defence, it is advertised as a horror movie, its trailers are certainly cut to make it seem like one and the previous two horror movies helmed by Jordan Peele actually are scary, so their pick made sense. The nerds were left unconvinced by this one, however.
Not, mind you, that you'd be able to infer any of that very clearly from their conversation... this time, they weren't even able to keep their chat focused only on this movie! I think this is what it's like to watch people go insane in slow motion.
