Episode description
Aaron turns the tables on Erin, asking her to share her story of coming out, referring to her being open and honest about wanting to date outside her race. Even though the two situations, sexuality, and race are vastly different, there are common themes when vocalizing preference. Fear of acceptance, being a big one, and living up to societal standards, but most importantly, finding the courage to honor your true authentic self.
As humans who are often a product of our generation, environment, and upbringing, it's vital that we learn and educate ourselves on things we don't understand. Think empathy and acceptance.
