You and me both On this show, I get to talk to people I admire, whether they're writers, athletes, comedians, community organizers, you name it. Also, I don't think this is a secret, but I love to talk to elected leaders who are

getting things done for our country. And we have some remarkable folks out there right now, people like Hakeem Jeffries, the Democratic Leader of the House, who's such a great cheerleader for the Democratic Party's accomplishments from FDR, from.

Social Security to rural electrification.

All the way to the present.

The American Rescue Plan, the Infrastructure Investment in Jobs Act, the Chips and Science Act, all the way through to the Inflation Reduction Act, all brought to you by your friendly neighborhood Democratic Party. That's an incredible track record of success.

And the new governor of Massachusetts in less than one year in office, she's already made great strides tackling housing shortages, food and security, climate change, and on the really challenging days when making progress is slow, she does what I do. I clean.
