Chris Engelbert

In this episode, we chat with terminally ill father of four, Chris Engelbert.  Chris humbly shares with us about his experience being diagnosed with stage IV cancer at just 41 years old. A lover of comedy, Chris swapped the comedic jabbing for some real talk in this deep conversation that is sure to leave a lasting impression on you, as it did for us. He shares about his favorite life experiences, what it's like living with pain everyday, thoughts on the afterlife, and the way his diagnosis has shifted his perspective. Sadly, Chris passed away shortly after this interview. He loved being a husband, father and stepfather, playing volleyball, listening to Pearl Jam and making people laugh. We were grateful he made time to sit down with us for this interview and we dedicate this podcast to him.
