Episode description

I have REALLY struggled with staying focused this semester. A week ago I started reading from "Indistractable" by Nir Eyal and it is helping me a lot! I look forward to having him on the podcast to dive DEEP into what I got out of this reading and how it has helped me in my life.

For now, we have my initial takeaways from my first 30 or so pages through the book. As always I hope it is useful for you in some way. :)

1.  All motivation is a desire to escape discomfort
2.  The body is created to maintain a state of homeostasis - with all of the dopamine rushes and things it will return to a state of normalcy.
3. Your brain prefers doing to thinking
