It's Not A Bad Thing To Be Selfish

I’ve developed a strangely toxic relationship with the word "selfish”: a word that is generally associated with a negative connotation. Society reinforces this notion around us, whether it’s things like sharing toys as a kid or watching your sister get a gift you’ve always wanted. But they’re not necessarily bad things at all; we just grew up thinking that people who are jealous or selfish are bad people.
