Born with Broken Legs and a Strong Spirit

Host of her own podcast, The Thotful Hoe, Jelicia is a breath of fresh air.  Her insight from her upbringing and her innate witchiness is powerful and all seeing.  One of many goals, Jelica strives to give the mic to those most marginalized and does all that she can to have their voices amplified.  After all, it’s the reason she went to school for journalism, to see more Black, Indigenous and People of Color in the media, controlling the narrative that has for too long been in the hands of white people.
