Elsewhere inn Boon Tiong, residents revolt against their HDB’s bold new purple paint job, and the backlash sparks a rethink on how much say Singaporeans should have over public spaces. Even their newly-elected MP Foo Ceixiang had to step in and pause the painting. But do the residents have a point?
