We’re spending August reading books about LGBTQ teens to celebrate Pride! For the next five weeks, we will review one book for each letter of the acronym (this year we’re going with LGBTQ, next year we may do one of the other acronyms!) This week, Sania and Teffer review Ash by Malinda Lo, a retelling of Cinderella centred around a lesbian relationship. We talk a lot about writing and adapting fairy tales, but also about crushes, astrology, and whether or not the fairy godmother represents death?
