Episode description

Big news!!! We celebrate Ariana’s Ph.D. program acceptance!!

This week we had Yareli Castro Sevilla discuss her journey to being a Ph.D. candidate in American Studies at The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Harvard University. We also discussed her proposed dissertation which takes a migrant-centered approach to explore Mexican “Espacios de Sinidad” in Sinaloa, that is, Chinese-Mexican cultures, customs, migratory processes, spaces where they built communities, and their transnational ties.
