The look in my eye tells you that I want you. Maybe maybe you're going blind in your old age? Is that possible for vampires when happened to your regenitive powers? I call it my vampiric dogg leish. You know that I can absolutely pull your card at any time, and I know you're gonna act well. On top of that, JUST dosed you with a bunch of coagulated blood, so your blood lust will be low because you will be satiated by the amount of good blood.

Really what they're doing is they're trying to make it look like there's completely different people that are running the area when they're
not just the family. It's stupid, it's ludicrous, and it's everything that you would think the Scorsesey family would do. Yeah. No, why do you think I picked this apartment. I can easily get in and out of their area. It's not like they're a threat. But I know the other criminal elements like to come down here as well. It was actually one of the ways that I found you and hid from you. Yeah no, I was going through your files saying everything that you had on me. Why did

Fine, but we don't need a resurgence of werewolves. We damn sure don't need a resurgence of any kind of I don't know, eugenics program to try and make superhumans. there used to be werewolves very heavily in this area. Actually, we're able to then cold it down kind of like we're culling you. Well, witchcraft is different in a few different ways. Oh look over there, there goes a couple of the boys. Yeah. No, they think they found a were wolf. Least it's been rumored. They want to pull them into the fold and have a couple of their
top bodyguards be converted. So you want to help me protect humans, Help me find out if they have a real were wolf, help me hunt him down, help me put him down, will ship him back to h Q. And if you do that, then I can absolutely stay here longer. Well, HQ will have a body and body that will be very concerning. They'll write me more time
because that will be an absolute sign of life. And then that means we can investigate more of your findings, get some more things in place here to help set up this city to be safe for humans, even if humans don't want to be safe from themselves. Then we'll have a decent pitch to take back to my boss, and it'll show me that you're not lying to me. You're not lying to me, are you? Well, I mean you have an inherent reason to want to lie right, save your own skin, though it's very nice skin that
you have. Indeed, cold to the touch. Really well, I'm pretty I see myself, especially when it comes to those sorts of feelings. I'm not gonna lie. Everyone gets the urge, the it, the need, the desire, But do you know what we don't get? Precisely we at least it was like me, don't get the urge to fall for someone,
especially so dangerous as yourself. You will be the absolute end of me if I'm not careful, and I know that you are looking for me to be vulnerable, and to do that would put me in a very compromising position. So instead, I think I'm going to pass on having my cold crumbled, and instead of draining you in that way, I think we'll get back to work saving these people. Every time you start getting off on those tangents, I begin to wonder you're really just trying to distract me.

I am absolutely in love with this series, so I thought it would be really fun to do one where we are walking the dog shout out to Bolts on our discord server for reasons. If you're on the Discord server, you know, you know he very much could use a little dog walk whoa not like a fight, not like that. But that was very interesting and I was like, how would you get a powerful being to be leashed by you in a way that they would
not give up? So I came up with this really cool concraption in my head and I was like, oh my god, this has to be in the part too. And then I really love the back and forth of You've got this very flirty vampire and who's just being his natural self, just being a little bit flirty. He's with someone who clearly has something for her for him, but it's just trying to deny it to keep to keep up professional appearances and to do her job. Seese,
this beautiful opportunity that would actually benefit her people. But it's got to keep a exceptionally healthy amount of skepticism. And I really really identify with that, because hope is the scariest thing on earth. To me, it's the most powerful in the world. It's wonderful. But like anytime I get hope, I still start self sabotaging. I will, legitimately. Some people say like they're waiting for the other shoe
to drop. I look up and I see where the shoe is, and I start pulling at it because I would rather it drop sooner than later, and on my own terms, rather than when I think everything's going good. I know it's not a good thing. Again. I'm very much with a therapist, Thank goodness. I love her to death. I've been working on it. Things have been coming along.
That's part of the reason I wrote the story, because it's very cathartic to talk about it and to get it out and to express stuff that it's happened in the past. It thanks for good art. But yeah, so I start ruining stuff, and I'm kind of so in the seeds here. I don't want to give away too much because I think that this is gonna be one of my favorite, if not favorite series coming up for
some of the things that I've planned. But yeah, I wanted to absolutely start some of the seeds of self sabotage and just being delusional about the things that you want, like just self denial.
