And then they were like, okay, we're gonna put it directly into your bank account. So then I logged into my bank account. Well, I mean I have to log in to tell them whether or NOTEDA got it. What do you mean This doesn't sound rat baby, baby? Can I please finish telling you? I'm so excited? What? Uh? Yeah, I just went to CVS.

I got a whole bunch of gift cards. Well, yeah, baby, it'll make sense in the end. Let me tell you what happened. Please sit down. Also, how was your day? I'm sorry. got the alert on my phone from the bank. What do you mean what do you mean City Bank doesn't send alerts. Bibby, listen to me. Okay, so here, I just sit right in front of you. Okay, all right, my love, darling, I won the money, and when I went into the bank account and they, well, yeah, you're right. They did have me download it's called any desk, and I put in. I gave them a code, and then they helped me put in this thing on their side,

like there's this notepad thing. I gave them my information so they could give me the money, and then uh huh, yeah that happened too. And then I went to my bank account and then yeah, the whole screen went black for some reason and they had to help me with that. They're so tech savvy. I was so happy to hear that, and that they knew exactly what happened. They fixed it. When they fixed it, accidentally, I input the wrong number. I must have put an extra zero or something. Oh yeah,

I won. I'm kind of excited two thousand dollars, but they put two hundred and fifty thousand in an account, and so they started freaking out and saying that they had to get it back, and I was in trouble and I was stealing from them, and I was really concerned at first, and they told me that I had to go get some gift cards to make up for it, and I was like, there's no way I can get, you know, two hundred thousand dollars in gift cards in order to send to you. I doubt there's even that

many gift cards in this one horse town. And they were like, oh, well, just go get like five hundred dollars so we can have some good faith. And I was like, that makes sense. But then I started thinking about it. This company put the money in my bank account, shouldn't they be able to pull it back out? And so I asked them on that and they got really angry. They transferred me to this guy. Baby yep, what do you mean? Skip? What do you mean? Kid boda? Whose?

Kid boga? PAROCHI? I make them all the time. They're delicious. Don't you like my parochis? Baby? Baby? Okay, fine, I'll sit down. I'll sit down. Okay, is this better? All right? Okay, I'm listening. Mm hmm. I mean that's possible too. Maybe maybe, just maybe you're right that No, I mean that doesn't make sense either, you're darling. Can I please finish? You know how excited I get. So I then was like, I don't have to give this money back, and I hung up on them. They kept calling me, and I kept blocking their phone numbers, and they kept calling me, and so then I called the bank. What well, yeah, I called the bank and I asked them there had been any deposits today? She said yes, So I hung up. You know, I didn't wait for her to tell me how much it was. That's a good point I should have done. That was

that rude. I just got excited. So I went to CVS and I bought a whole bunch of gift cards just in case. They called back and said, hey, we do need you to do this, but it doesn't make sense. So I bought a whole bunch of gift cards. Then I what, No, they're not Look, they're not scratched. They're not scratched, none of them. I don't I didn't get the codes off them. I haven't used these gift cards

or anything. Well, no, I don't think I can give them back, but I figured they'd make good Christmas gifts or something, or Birthday gifts for my friends and whatnot if we don't end up using them. But anyways, since we got the deposit, well, yeah, I do get early checking into my account for my job, and day tomorrow would be payday. Okay, so we got that does make sense. So you're telling me that I just got my paycheck and not two hundred. I mean I may have spent

something like five grand on gift cards. That maybe maybe that's not that big deal. It's not the big deal. It's not the big deal. It's fine, it's it's fine, I'm sure, but we have two hundred and fifty. So we don't have two hundred and fifty. Gosh darn it. Well no, I just I thought I thought maybe we hit it big, and I figured that there's even well, no, that makes sense. Even if they were it was legit, they would have taken the money back and then I

would have been in the hole for three grand. But I also figured since they did immediately take it back, then, I mean, if they could get it. It's usually you have to wait for money to come in and they take money immediately. So I never understood that how come I have to wait for my refund when I so easily gave you the money? Like, why do you have to wait for it to hit your bank account descended to yours? When you got the money to day, you could spend it. I don't know. I'm not that tech

savvy and into stuff like some other people. Okay, so you're telling me that I should go look up these YouTube channels talk about scam baiten and that I need to learn about these types of scams because they're common. Well that doesn't so they pray on people who just aren't super tech savvy or understand how banking systems work. Well, no, because I'm getting young, like I would think that it would be older. It is usually older people that go

But I personally think that if I were to release that version, the story would have to go in a direction I don't actually want it to go in. But

also it would upset people. But more so, like I understand, I'm the stories that I create are not going to make everyone happy. Sometimes character development goes in a bad way. Character development doesn't mean good development does not. A development in a story does not necessarily mean it's gonna go the way you want it to, and I'm prepared for

that reality. But also it was going in a direction I don't want that character to go in because I want to explore some other stuff that I haven't explored on this channel. Inspiration for this video is scam vating. I was, oh, I don't know if I want to admit this, but it's not always older people who get scammed. I legitimately thought I had a trojan on my computer, and it was I in early I was like maybe eighteen nineteen years old, and I didn't know about these websites.

I had pop ups and said call this number, and my computer did seem to be acting funky in other ways for a few days prior, so I called this number and I paid an ungodly amount of money, especially given how much money at the time, I was really really broke, but I needed my computer to work, so I then continued on a monthly basis because they ended up putting stuff on my computer to make sure it would occasionally go on the fritz, and kept paying them

until one of my friends came through and was like, Hey, your computer's worked, and here's why and here's what's going on. And they had to fix it and everything. And I was lucky because I had someone come through. And then I recently, like in the last two years, found about this scambaiting community, and I don't know, I kind of wanted to do this video because I'm also asking some of my voice acting friends, like contact some of the smaller scam vaders, see if we could use our voices

to help catch some people here and there. Maybe it's like a it's I guess it's kind of it's not charity because there's there's no five to one C three attached any of this stuff, but just like as a if you got some free time, we can donate our talents towards something that will help people not be scammed,

because it's usually not the younger people. It's usually older people who really don't understand technology and have more disposable income, but that income is meant to take care of themselves. So anyways, I thought it would be a good way to raise some awareness for those people who were like me and maybe not technologically the most savvy. But also I know quite a few vas also watch my video, so maybe give them some who have word some inspiration
