It is x'son Bros. Here on the Michigan Sports Network. I'm Dennis Fithian in for Matt Shepper. Happy to be here on a day that everyone is focused in on the Stanley Cup Finals and a Game seven between the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers. This one so happens to not only be a Game seven, but also had the situation where the Oilers have forced a Game seven after being down three. So that gets you, really has your is there

such thing as a Game seven juices or history sports history juices flowing? This will do it? A lot of things come to mind. I put the question out there for you, though, and it's really just for you to respond. It's a it's a fun question about game sevens as I ask you, what's your favorite that comes to mind or your favorite Game seven moment? Get in on that. I would enjoy hearing from you. Eight six six eight three eight forty eight forty three on the Meyer Hotline eight sixty six eight

three eight forty three. We'll talk with the Red Wings color analysts coming up in about fifteen minutes from right now. We'll get his thoughts on tonight's game, and then we'll look back in history as well. Talking about this now. Discussed a lot about the Pistons last hour and coming up in an hour from right now, I am going to go back to it, and I will give you a move that I would like to see the Pistons make.

Now, if you're just joining us, I gave you two moves, one in the draft and one at head coach that I would like to see. I've got an additional move I would like to see the Pistons make, and I'll get to that coming up at eighth one. Now, the Tigers, and I put this too open topics out there. If you've got your Game seven, your favorite one, or your favorite Game seven moment, you can jump in on that. But I put it out there for open topics.

If there's something that you want to get to. There's a lot of little things that have happened, whether it's a golf or a college baseball or a WNBA, whatever's tickle in your fancy. I invite you to get on into those. I can handle that I'd be excited to hear from you on any

of that. I mentioned the Tigers. The Tigers did get the victory yesterday, as they pounded the White Sox eleven to two, and they're able to take two of three from Chicago. They're sitting there five games under five hundred, but they beat the White Sox. They are the worst team in baseball, the White Sox with twenty one wins. Now they bring in the team with the best record in baseball, thirty more wins than the White Sox, the Phillies at twenty six. So the Tigers just took on the worst team

in baseball. Now they invite in the best team in baseball. Let's see how they do against the Phillies, who have that spectacular fifty one and twenty six sparkling one in twenty six record. Now, as I thought about my favorite Game seven, the first thing I did is I had asked myself, have I ever been in person to a Game seven? And the answer to

that, I'm sorry. The answer to that is yes. And the first one I didn't look up the year, but it was the Pistons Going to Work club that ended up winning the title in eighty four, that went to six straight Eastern Conference of Finals and two straight NBA Finals and won the one in four the one year they were taken to a Game seven by the Jason kid Led New Jersey nets, and I was there, and what I remember about that game is that the Pistons blew them out and Jason Kidd was held

scoreless in the game, and the headline in the newspaper was net zero clever A rollicking time. It was at the Palace. Back then, it was an era where the Detroit Pistons were the hottest ticket in town. The Palace was as loud as any building ever and it was all came out and enjoy there as they just put the hammer down and boat race the nets in that game. That's not my favorite one. I actually go to the ice for these Game sevens. I was at neither of them, but I was watching

intently on both of them. I'm thinking that of the hundreds thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands that are listening right now, that almost everyone it's they have to be old enough to recall. Nineteen ninety six and two thousand and two. Those are are my game sevens that come to mind. Ninety six Steve Eiserman the captain of the Red Wings. The Wings were taking on the Blues. The Blues had Chris Pronger wing Gretzky was on the Saint Louis Blues and

they went to a Game seven. It was the I'm just thinking, I hadn't thought about that game in a while, and here I am at Casey. Believe is the goalie, the netminder for Saint Louis. But Ian scores the game winner in the game seven. Now, that was a double overtime game seven winner by the captain of the Red Wings. It doesn't get much better than that. Then. It doesn't get much better than a double overtime winner in a game seven, does it. You're right, Yeah, I

heard you talking to me the in my ear. I thought you said that that's that one was great. But you probably don't recall ninety six though, dude, a little bit. I was only nine years old, though, So yeah, that's oh well, you you know, that's right around the time you might remember. But also, that wasn't the top shelf goal, was it? I believe, you know, I can Yeah, from just

inside the blue line, I think he got it. I remember the call of you know, Gretzky loses the puck and here it was Eierman ripped it. Boom. Yeah, it was an awesome one. O you said you had some tech us. We got a caller. Caller, let's do it. It's Mark and gun Lake. Mark and gun Lake, welcome in. Hey, you're doing a great job today. How you doing. I'm doing great Mark House things going around the west side of the state. There at beautiful gun Lake. Oh it's beautiful over here today. So, but I

wanted to give you an idea. I talked to Shep about this a few weeks back. There's a guy that I've been watching on some film or whatever you want to call it, DV or whatever, and Dalton Connect out of Tennessee. For the Pistons, I think at five this guy can shoot them. We need some three point shooters and this guy is a He's a good player. I don't know, do you know anything about this this guy or

not? Yeah, you know, I've Connect is a fascinating player. You know, he transfers from Tennessee. He hits the ground running, he leads the sec and scoring. He looks like a dynamic scorer that he could bring that to the NBA. The only question I have on Connect is, you know, does he play any defense? I know, if he is a prolific scorer, that doesn't matter to me that much. If you know you could, you could play some defense. Uh, he's a first round pick

for sure. Five seems a little high for him, but you're right. The Pistons need a score, they need a shooter, and Connect brings both of those. I'd like to reach Shepherd a little bit more for Kentucky out of the SEC as well, Mark, because of the three point shooting. But I connect, if the Pistons moved like you've told me they moved, I was talking about moving to San Antonio or even moving a little bit later. Uh. Connect, I would be very happy with the Pistons delivering Adulton

Connect to Detroit. I would. I would love to see him because I think when they had Vinnie Johnson, when Dumers or Thomas got in foul trouble and Vinnie came in, he'd light it up. And I think this guy can do the same thing, so you know, or he could be a starter. But yeah, I just wanted to get your opinion on that. So but I hope you have a great day and great job on the show, and I'll talk to you again. Okay, Thanks Mark Dalton Connect,

fitthean back here on X's and Bros. Across the state of Michigan on the Michigan Sports Network. Let's bring in the color analyst of the Detroit Red Wings. Who joins us, That is Paul Woods. Paul, How you doing real good? Dennis? How you been? Oh, I'm doing pretty good. You know. It's great to hear your voice, you know. And I texted you. You said you were coming back from up north. I didn't know if that meant like way up and you know, towards the North

Pole or in the state of Michigan. Where where are Yeah, I'm right in the middle of the state of Michigan, just west of Grailing on seventy two. Ministe River goes through there. So I liked the offish over there. And the weather didn't cooperate this at time. So I've got to head back to Canada this morning or actually today, so I'm on my way back. And actually I just I turned on the radio this morning and you were on the Grailing station, so I was listening on the way back. You're

talking about the basketball. Yeah, w g R y one on one point one up North. So yeah, that's awesome that you were able to hear us out there on the road. Now, Paul, you've got this game seven tonight and I'm just going to serve it up really easy for you. Would you rather be Edmonton who is trying to do this reverse sweep? Or would you like to be the Panthers who have history on their side and they have the home ich would rather be Florida or Edmonton tonight? You know,

I like that term reverse sweep. That's good. But you know, Dennis, I think it's I don't know in hockey because of it it's sudden death and in overtime and stuff. I know, us are just two great teams. And you know, I'm no one. Uh no one thought ed would get down three nothing, and then nobody thought they'd come back and win three in a row to bring it to Game seven. So there is two outstanding hockey teams and the level of play in the playoffs has been great as it

was last year in the NHL. So I'm going to pick the Panthers to win it. I don't think Edmonton can can do it. For in a row. They they've hurt the Florida with the like their third line, their third and fourth line became much more competitive and productive, and they're penalty killing. The special team's been better as well. But in Games four and five, Florida gave up a short handed goal and that's a kiss of death, Like you can't do that. So I think the Panthers will right the ship.

It'll be a close game, maybe overtime, but I'm picking Florida. Yeah, you look on the oiler side and they've I don't know how much more met him is going to matter. You know, Connor McDavid in company, they've got a combined score of eighteen to five and route to you know, tying this thing up. The history is the thing. I wonder how much you believe that this plays into it? First, just about being down

oh three, because three there's been two hundred and ten teams. You've got four comeback winners, just one though in the finals sid Ables forty two team went down. I mean, how much of that does the history just being down three play into this in your mind? Well, in my mind, the good Dennis player, like it's just it's just the game we're playing. That counts. Like what happened in the past has gotten oparing than us.

It's it's different players, a different time, different era. So no, it's just this moment right into it now, and you know, and that's the thing. If we can come out and play our best game and again. But Brosky with outstanding in the first three games and not so good in the last three games. So if he gets back the way he was playing in the first three, then they chance to win. But Stuart Skinner has

been good and he's been probably a little bit better than expected. And I think on the Edmonton side too, it's become more of a balance attack and I think that's helped. And Conor McDavid is really like he's got the NHL record now for assists in a single playoff season. But his game he's become,

in my mind now totally selfless. Like for him before it seemed to me like he seemed like he felt like he had to score and just continually trying to score, where now he's involving his teammates and I think it's forty two assists. I think he's up to now and he didn't have anything in game in Game six, but they still won, but he's changed his game. He's no longer just a score. He's just doing everything he possibly can to win. And I think that's the maturity of a great young player.

The former Red Wings captain Paul Woods, we're talking about the Panthers and Oilers. The Oiler is trying to become just the third team in NHL history to come back, and you know they have. They are the third team in AHL history to even just tie it up at three games apiece, and they're trying to become the first team since the Leafs in forty two to complete it.

You know, Paul, I hear you on the history. I remember when the Red Wings were trying to go back to back in eight and nine, and in that Game seven, I'm looking at all the notes and it says that home ice isn't important in the playoffs until the game seven, and then they had the numbers there, and then it said that home ice isn't important into game seven until a game seven and then really in the Stanley Cup

Finals. You know the stats, and I know you just said throw all the stats out the window, but how about the the the home ice and the numbers that that favor and of course, you know the Penguins won that game, so you know all of that being said there it is yeah, yeah, I remember, I can. I can still picture Mark dreck Floury's sliding across and make it that the very late done in regulation against nick Lesram. I mean, we could easily have and you know, really it's funny,

but that we should have won that series against Pittsburgh. Peng looks like we totally out to play them, but h Floy was great in a goal and they just found a way to hang on. But uh, we should have won both those series. You did win one, but should have won them both in my mind against Pittsford. But but back to the question again, like I I just uh, I believe. I believe in the moment. I just believe you're in the moment. It's it's these certain guys.

You look around the room, it's us against them, and again, uh, it's it's great stories on both sides. I mean, And really that strength of the Florida Panther team was that they got so much production from their their third line, Anton Lundell and this loose to Ryan and a couple of finish ship players. They just are really blow the radar, like very important players for for the Florida Panthers, but they haven't been as important and those

guys need to pick it back up. But uh, you just got to, you know, get out there and get going and and get started. But again, Edmonton, it's just it's it's a great story. That third line now with Adam Penrik has been outstanding. Kelly Ironcroft, the former Red Wing farm hand, He's been a great match line and that group has really helped out now and Connor Brown, the guy scored two goals in the regular season all of a sudden, now it's become a weapon before Chris Knoblock,

the head coach of Edmonton. So it's going to be a battle. Like both teams have lots of positives and I can see each team winning. But again, I just got a funny feeling about Florida. I think they're going to find a way tonight. Okay, I know you just said all about stand in the moment and everything, but I was looking at the first goal, you know, both in game five. In Game six, Edmontons gets

out to a three to nothing lead. They of course when they won that eight to one game in game four, you know, they scored the first goal there, so is the first goal. Are you still going to feel good about Florida being able to win this if Edmonton scores the first goal? Yeah, to me, like it's sixty minutes ton, It's like, you know, it's sometimes you're ahead and sometimes you're behind, and you know,

it's just so many different variables can happen. But again, I think I think Florida out shot to Edmonton in Game six, So again that's a that's a good sign as well. But they're they're actually controlling more of the game. So again, like I said, it could go the other way, and I mean it's going to be a fine, fine line and it might

get to overtime. I mean, it's just the other thing I just really you know, want to point out too, is about that that hockey is the only sport where where there actually is sudden death, like just one goal, one shot and it's over, and you know, other sports and stuff, you have a chance come back and tie it up. You know,

basketball, it's a it's an overtime period, it's not sudden death. You know baseball again, and you know you have your bottom part of the inning or you're part chance to tie it up or in the same in football, you know, but hockey is the only one where just one shot, one play can end the game and end your season. So the pressure will beyond But you know, people live for these moments, they give these kind of games and stuff. So for I think for the fans of people watching,

it's a little bit nerve wracking, but for the players it's exciting. Well, Paul, I couldn't get you out of here without asking about the Red Wings. You know, you were talking about some of the depth on these teams. I look at Florida, A guy like Sam Bennett number nine, I've really enjoyed watching him play. Evan Rodriguez brings a lot to the table.

These are not household names. I mean, everybody's talking about you know what good reason Barkoff and ver Hagy and on down the line, could Chalk and all of the big names that and even Tara Cinco who they had as a free agent. But it's these other guys. What about the Red Wings? I mean, do you feel like that how far the Red Wings away

from getting into the postseason and maybe making a little run. Well, you know, I think we should have made the playoffs last year, and you know, we tied with Washington and they won a tiebreaker, and you know, I'm now a believer that we should have a play in game. I don't think any team should. When you play eighty two games and you're tied in a number of points, both teams should be a one game playoff, and the team that would have had the tiebreaker, they get whole mice in

that game. But to me, I just wasn't right. I mean, the way they worked, how hard they played, the way they bowt in those last games that get to the point they're tied, and to lose it on a tiebreaker, I just don't think is right. But I think the Red Wings again, like every year, they keep getting better last year's team, if they have played the previous years a team, they don't want a playoff series in four consecutive games, we're that much better. So we're better

defensively, we're much deeper up front. We've got six unrestricted to pree agents, one goalie, one defenseman, four forwards, so again we've got to figure that into it. But there's lots of free agents out there, so that starts July first. The draft I think is June twenty eighth, so

that's coming up. So it's going to be a busy week. But I expect the Red Wings to be aggressive in the free agency and again they're going to keep improving this team, and they've got to do it now because Ottawa got better in the offseason already, Buffalo is going to get to better. The Jersey's already better. They picked up a goaltender on the Calgary playing so Eastern Conference teams that all want to make the playoffs, so it'll be more

difficult than it was last year to make the playoffs. But again, I think the Wings are definitely hitting in the right direction and we'll make the playoffs next year. Hey Paul, it was great talking with you. Can't wait, I mean a season ends tonight, but we'll all we be looking forward to when the season starts with you behind the mic. Safe travels and thanks for joining us this morning. Always a great to pleasure, Dennis. Keep up the good work, all right, take care there is Paul Woods.

but we do have open topics. If you're not recalling your favorite Game seven or your favorite Game seven moment, wherever you're at also looking for your move that the Red Wings could make a move, that the Red Wings could make your favorite Game seven or Game seven moment. That's what we have for you on the plate right here. But we do have open topics, So if

you wanted to go somewhere else, go ahead. Eight six six eight three eight forty eight forty three on the Meyer Hotline again eight six six eight three eight forty eight forty three. You could text Sports Radio to twenty one thousand Sports Radio all one word to get in on any of that coming up at eight oh one. A move you would like to see the Pistons make. You know, you've got all of this going on. You know, we

just talked with Paul Woods, and not only after tonight's game. With the NHL season ending, you have free agency that starts a week from today in the NHL, and you also have the NHL Draft. Meanwhile, on the basketball side, the Celtics last week win the championship and you've got the NBA Draft on Wednesday, and then Sunday you've got free agency in the NBA. So a lot of teams, a lot of pieces to move around. If you're telling me that a champion could be made this week by the via trade

draft a free agency, that's kind of how it's done. So yeah, I believe the shrewd the big time move, Like who thought, I don't know, going back the last year. You know, the Oilers they pick up Zach Hyman and he goes out and nobody was predicting that that guy was gonna score fifty four goals? Were they hoping for twenty thirty maybe, but you know fifty four and he's leading the Stanley Cup playoffs in goals as well. The greatest Connor McDavid has been. Hymen has been awesome as well,

the former Michigan Wolverine in Zach Hyman. So I don't know Game seven's I gave you one. It was a moment. My favorite Game seven moment was double overtime Steve Eiserman against the Blues back in ninety six for my favorite game. Why that is not my favorite game is that the Red Wings in ninety six did not go on to win the Stanley Cup. If they did that, that goal becomes validated and even bigger as it is. It was a

pretty big goal. But I will go to two thousand and two for my favorite Game seven and it was really the anticipation that led up to it and then how the game unfolded. It was all magical. You know that it's a that it's great when you don't have to go and look many things up

about a particular game. Moments are there for you. You know, the the Isserman goal in double overtime, but the Too Red Wings Avs game was the culmination of the seven year war between the two teams, and in my mind, you know, for that seven years, I don't know, I can't think of a better rivalry between two teams in all of sports. It was a great time you had. From ninety six to oh too, these

two teams met five times, they combined for five Cups. And so the game seven, the Wings had won two times, the Avs had won two times. Whoever was going to win this one? You know, if who won the Wings av rivalry, well it was going to come down to this Game seven in two thousand and two, and he almost felt like, for sure, whoever wins it would go on to win the Stanley Cup finals.

Of course that's what happened. The Red Wings won it, and then they won the Stanley Cup finals, and then you also just looked the finals are the big deal. But sometimes the two best teams are in the same conference, and this is what it was with the Wings and the Aps. I mean, the Wings beat the Flyers, they sweep them. The Wings beat the Capitals, they sweeped them to but it was about getting by Colorado. And so you know, that whole seven years every game. I went to

a number of those games. But also I can recall going to a lot of parties, my friends just all getting together and watching the Red Wings and the Avalanche whatever we're doing, whether it was somebody's house or wherever we're at. I kind of remember playing a I don't know if it was called a Gus macerback then, a basketball tournament in Grand Rapids. But we all were able to get to a restaurant and watch the Red Wings and Aves in one

of those playoff games. But you know, that was a seven nothing Red Wings victory over the over the Avs. But it couldn't have been any better. I actually, if you're asking me to draw it up, uh, even looking back, would you say, what would you rather have had a you know, four to three overtime victory against the Avs? Not this time? Most of the times I would say, yeah, give me all the drama, especially you know, of course maybe for sure if the you can

guarantee me a win. But the Red Wings scored and the like the opening minutes I think it was Homestrom actually against the against the Abs, they scored again in the first period, you know, but you never you know, you're thinking it feels good, but then they're you know, they're up three to four. They get a statue of liberty goal. That was a great moment if you were looking for a Game seven moment. They were Patrick Waugh. He kind of looked like he was I don't know what he was doing,

and like they broke him. He lifted up his glove. I mean, maybe the greatest goaltender of all time, and you know he lifts up his glove for this, uh statue of liberty goal. And you know, the Red Wings are up and then they go on. But with each goal, I mean, the party and the excitement, it was like winning the Stanley Cup. With the you were that much closer with every goal, and it was like the celebration started. It was like a parade, a coronation.

We know they still had work to do and everything else, but I was at a bar for that game and the entire time, you know, the first minute or two, you know, it's it's as tense as you can get. But the the release of joy and celebration out that game, it was it was just a you know, a party unlike any other.

And you know every game takes on them in a different form and different shape, and if they're close and you're coming back, like Paul Woods was talking about last segment, you know, you get to this die sudden death type situation where when it gets to that kind of situation, every time the puck

goes into, it goes over the blue line you're in. You know, you can't do this in every game that you watch, like just hold your breath and look at every single play with you know like, oh my gosh, this is either gonna be this is gonna be the one to score,

this is gonna be the one to go against you. You can't think about that every time, as you know, just somebody that's watching it, but you sure do when it comes down to a Game seven type situation or if it's coming down to an overtime situation, every time the puck goes in, you're thinking, this is it, this is something's gonna happen here, and

you know you're you're hoping that. You know, you see so many times the deflections and that would be the one thing if you're if I'm if I'm drawing something up tonight and I want the Panthers to win, I'll tell you why. In a moment. But I really want the Panthers to win. But I would like to see a close game where it comes down with somebody scores a fabulous goal to win it. Yeah, you want to take them into overtime and you know, tell me, you know McDavid goes through a

bunch of Panthers and scores this miraculous goal. Yeah, that'd be great. Think the same thing for the Panthers, you know, But but score a great goal. I don't want a power play where the blast comes in, it's deflected and then the you know, the goaltender has no chance and it ricochets off of their own player. You know, one of those goals.

I want to clean, highlight, super sweet goal. Now, I want the Panthers to win because I bet them into the in the Stanley Cup finals, and I have not had a good run here in the Stanley Cup playoffs. So I'll just give you my I've had a ton of fun with with the playoffs over the years. I have about fifteen of my friends for at least thirty years, we've had a pool that we run for the playoffs. We've taken a few years off here and there, but for the most part,

for the you know better part of thirty years we've had. It's kind of a fantasy, you know, pick a player type situation. Well, anyways, this year, I didn't know it, but only four of us got in. But I picked all of these Panthers players, and I picked you know, three oilers. And the fun part for me is that I don't look at what my opponent is doing. And I found that I have much more fun doing it that way, just thinking about my team and if

they get there. But I did not. It was not very smart handicapping because I did a a bet when I got even though I just said I took the Panthers, I hedged, and because I thought if the Panthers got to the finals that I was going to win this pool no matter what. I had picked all these Panthers players. I already said how many oilers I had, so I hedged, and then you know bet the Rangers, thinking

oh, well, at least I'll win this. Well, that's not the smart handicapping part was is that if you're going to hedge, you should be looking at all of your odds and everything there, and I did not look at what my opponents were doing. My friend picked better than me. I think there could have been one hundred people in this pool, and my friend would have I mean he picked every player that you could think of, the

perfect you like, had the perfect lineup against me. And so I lost that even before I got into the finals, and so the heading into the finals, I'd watched all these like I really liked the Panthers, and I'd never felt smarter, even though it was a bad move, hedging when I wasn't looking at all the details, but I'd never been felt smarter than taking the Panthers. After game one, after game two, after game three, I'm got my chest out and I'm thinking, you know, I've got this.

This this gambling, I'm pretty good at it. You know, forget the uh, forget the daily lineup, forget the fantasy was talking about straight up handicapping. I'm picking the winner. I'm doing pretty good. But then with each loss here eight won, you know, look at the Mavericks in but oh bo. But after game five, the collar on myself was really tightening. And then this last game, of course, do either score first?

Of course, you know, if we get up to nothing. The Panthers fought back a little bit, so they're a little bit, But I have all of that history on my side. Do I have a ninety eight percent chance looking at history? I do. It's even more of that if I, you know, zero win out of being the Stanley Cup Finals with the Panthers winning. But you know, I'm gonna tell you, I don't feel like I have a ninety nine percent chance of cashing my ticket tonight.

I don't even know if I feel like I have a fifty percent. I feel like I have a you know, I definitely feel like I have a forty percent. I feel like I have a forty five percent chance, and I feel like whoever scores that first goal. If it is Florida, I'm gonna feel like I got to you know, then above fifty percent chance. But if it's the Oilers, let's score first tonight. Just remember it'll be Dennis Fifthigen who's sitting back saying he thinks he doesn't have any chance to win

this now. So that's gonna be the added drama. But for me, I always try to remember that I'm never gonna win a whole lot, never gonna lose a whole lot either, because I don't put that much down on it. But man, what a roller coaster. These of Stanley Cup playoffs have been very exciting a lot of fun and also educational for me and hopefully for you. When I'm telling you about my handicapping experience, there, don't head your bet and lets you know all the numbers, or at least you

know get you get the most information that you can. Certainly take a look at it if you feel like you're ready to clinch something, and if you've got it, how about backing that up with actually looking at it. I'm telling myself that now very easy to say now after the fact. That's how it goes when it comes down to it. All right, So we've got the question of the day right now, and it's out there for you. I have given you both my moment and my favorite game seven two Wings abs

seven nothing Red Wings in two thousand and two. My favorite moment the ninety six Red Wings Steve Eiserman blasting that shot from just over the right side of the blue line after Gretzky gave up the puck a double overtime Red Wings win it. There's my moment, there's my game. Also, looking for a move that you want to see the Red Wings make? Now do I think that the Red Wings are going to sign one of the top tier. Like

so you look and you think, all right, free agency. Sam Reinhardt plays for Florida, a right winger who is one of the top free agents that is out there. Is he scored fifty seven goals this year. Is are the Detroit Red Wings ready to throw everything they have at Reinhardt? I doubt it. I don't feel like that. I was looking at some of the salaries on the Panthers and like Barkoff gets ten million dollars a year, could Chuck almost gets ten million dollars a year. They don't have any it's

gonna say any tax, whether a tax free state. That helps. Plus they're winning. And I don't know. I don't know Reinehart, but being down in South Florida, you know that that weather that is also an attraction. But I don't know how much money. I mean, if he's looking for every single nickel that he can, he'll probably have to leave Florida. But he's having a great contract year, that's for sure. Also someone who's had a great contract year was Jake Getzel, who ended up with Carolina at

an offseason ankle injury, but he's a dangerous winger. He can also be someone that you're thinking about could really go ahead and and and really cash it, but you're gonna have to give up a boat load. But Carolina they were willing to cough up a bunch to get him at the deadline, so you would think that they would be ready to match any suitors. I don't

know's there's others. Big names stay Steven Stampost probably the biggest name, a little bit older, but he was disappointed stamp Coast was that he didn't get that extension. A big name, a little bit older, gonna be big money that doesn't really look like I mean Eiserman was with Tampa. Does that matter. I don't know. There's some of them. There's some of the potential moves that didn't give you the move that I wanted to see the Red Wings make. You can get in on that, a move that you'd like

to see the Pittons make. We've got that combination for you coming up here straight ahead, are we going to go to the text at You could text sports radio to twenty one thousand. Michigan is the most crazed golf state in the country. Our window to play golf isn't very wide, is it. So when you get that opportunity to have that golf outing with your buddies like I have, and I treasure it. I mean, it's one of my favorite things to do. You want to find a place that is going to treat you right, be worth it, and accommodate you in more ways than just golf Toutly Moore is that it's the experience that you would have of a golf outing lifetime. prestigious, it is so beautiful. It gives you two championship courses totally more and Saint ives. It gives you a place to stay where you can relax, unwind, enjoy the scenery. It's luxurious and it's all affordable. It's as good as it gets just about an hour north of Grand Rapids, not even that depending on who's driving. But I mean it is a spectacular round

of golf and a chance to unwind afterwards.
