I'm so glad that you're here . You are listening to . What the fuck did she just say with your host , that's me , sandra Priestly . I'm all about living our best life and finding our zone of brilliance and then removing the resistance so that we can go all in .
I say random , crazy shit , which is why I called this podcast the way that I did , and I really hate long drawn out intros , so let's fucking go . Yesterday , in the powerhouse membership , I did a little video on how to reprogram your subconscious mind and something flew out of my mouth , which is usually what happens , and it's also why I called this podcast .
What the fuck did she just say ? Because a lot of times , things just fly out of my mouth and they're things that I will never forget . You never forget , people don't forget , and in fact , I continually will say things that people remind me of three years later . No shit .
So I was talking about reprogramming in the subconscious mind and that we have like , no matter what goal it is , no matter what goal we want to hit , we're going to have negative thoughts about it . No matter what goal we want to hit , we're going to have negative thoughts about it .
I think I did a podcast on here too , about Michael Phelps , like how you know , even as an elite swimmer as he is , he still has negative thoughts , he still has to reprogram those thoughts . He still uses the doorway effect and reprograms those thoughts and that's really the magic and that's the work .
We spend far too long just sitting in procrastination , sitting in like just paralyzed in fear , paralyzed in fear of failure , um , and just not willing to take a look at the negative shit that's holding us back .
And so , while I was speaking about this , while I was talking about this being the work and giving them strategies in order to do this , what flew out of my mouth was this is like having these negative thoughts in the back of our mind is like it's like having rotting food in your fridge .
So if you imagine these subconscious thoughts , these limiting beliefs , these negative , bullshit thoughts that are they're not in truth , they're just seeking safety for us If we imagine those thoughts being like it's like we have this , this like mental fridge , mental refrigerator and there's rotting apples in it .
All we have to do is recognize shit , that's a rotting apple , let's let it go and just clear it out . It doesn't have to be what our fridge is solely comprised of . But the more we just let it sit there , the more we just start to mold .
Everything starts to mold and it becomes this like toxicity in our brain it just becomes the worst place for us to be . What we want is to tell a story that feeds our soul . What we want our subconscious mind to be talking to us is saying you've got this . You don't want this to be your inner mean girl . You want it to be your inner hype girl .
And the only way to do that is to release the rotting fruit in your mental fridge . You can't just hope that they go away . You've got to do the work to actively release them and then reprogram it . Put the good food , put the good fruit , put the good apples back in your fridge . That's the work .
If you want to manifest anything , if you want to achieve any goal , the only thing that you can do is remove the rotting fruit and replace it with good stuff . That is how you get there . So I don't care what you do .
I have a ton of strategies to help you do this , to help you reprogram the subconscious mind , to help you remove the rotting food from your fridge . But the first thing that you need to do is be aware that it's there .
Be aware that it's there and make sure that when you uncover something that you've been saying to yourself , that you realize , a this is a bullshit thought and B don't judge yourself for having it . We all have bullshit thoughts . We all have negative stuff that goes on in our mind . I was just writing just this morning .
I was releasing all of the subconscious thoughts , all of the limiting beliefs that were holding me back from achieving a goal . I read those thoughts out Like I read my journal , my journaling , out to the women in the powerhouse , so that they could see that I too have shitty beliefs and I'm not going to own them .
I'm not going to make them be true and I'm not going to own them Like I'm a terrible person for having them . I am normal , I am human for having negative thoughts , and all we need to do is clean it up , make sure our energy is squeaky clean , and then we are free to move on . We are free to achieve that goal .
