I say random , crazy shit , which is why I called this podcast the way that I did , and I really hate long drawn out intros . So let's fucking go . There's one thing that you need to know when you set a goal that as soon as you set it and as soon as you get over that dopamine hit that high of , I'm excited I can do this . Let's fucking go .
As soon as you sort of move over , you ride that wave . What happens is the negative stuff creeps in . The limiting beliefs creep in and those shitty thoughts start to take over . And you are not special . You do not have the patent on this . It is not only you who has these negative thoughts . It's every single one of us , no matter who we are .
You are Sarah Blakely . You have shitty thoughts . The only thing , the only difference between you and Sarah Blakely , developer of sneaks and spanks , is that she has worked on her mindset since the time she was a teen when she started listening to Wayne Dyer cassette tapes in her car .
There's one thing you need to know when you're setting a goal is that as soon as you set it , you'll have this sort of immediate dopamine rush , this sort of high of setting a new goal , the excitement of something new . And there will be a moment when that is going to start to wane and that's when your subconscious mind starts to kick in .
That's when the limiting beliefs start to kick in . I have heard it called so many things . I have heard it called your mean girl . I have heard it called the adversary . I have heard it called your dick brain . I have heard it called little Dickie . Sometimes it's the devil on your shoulder .
I know you're sitting there thinking that every single time you try to go all in , something happens . You don't believe that it's possible . Timing is not perfect . You know you're waiting for a different time , a better time .
You're making sure that you have all your ducks in a row and all your shit together before you start so that you have a really , really , really good shot at achieving the goal . But what happens is all you're really doing is the action part . You're not adjusting your mindset , and it's the mindset . That's the biggest problem right there .
It's the mindset that is holding you back the most , because it's your mindset that is telling you in the background you can't do this . Fuck , you deserve a break . You've had two really good days . Why don't you eat this chocolate bar ? I'm hungry . I deserve something . I've had a rough day . I should just start again tomorrow .
I mean , I have had all of these thoughts and $375 trillion more , and I know you have too trillion more and I know you have too . The only thing that you need to do in order to achieve your goal is focus on mindset , energy and action . When you don't achieve what you want , it's because you're not focusing on all three .
And I used to think that all that I needed for weight loss , for business , for clients , for personal development all I really needed was to work on my mindset , because I kind of had the action down down pat . And then I realized wait a minute .
I started learning about feng shui and I started learning about the energy and the energy that I'm putting out , the energy in my space , how that was affecting me , how that was affecting how I thought , how it was affecting how I felt , how it was affecting the actions that I took and I started realizing whoa energy is a huge part of this too .
I will say this till I'm blue in the face mindset , energy and action . You must do all three , and you must do all three in reference to your goal Every single day . You want to achieve your goal .
That's what you need to do Focus on your mindset , focus on your energetic imprint , focus on your mindset with respect to your goal , focus on how you feel and the energy that you have with respect to your goal . And focus on how you feel and the energy that you have with respect to your goal .
And focus on the actions that you take every single day with respect to your goal . If you can do that every single day consistently , there is no other option but for you to reach your goal Because , as I said yesterday , if you have a dream , you have been placed on this earth with the capacity to achieve it .
The only thing that you are doing is stopping yourself from achieving it . The work is mindset , energy , action . Every fucking day , let's go . Thank you so much for listening .
