¶ Transform Your Life With Affirmations
I'm so glad that you're here . You are listening to what the fuck did she just say with your host ? That's me , sandra Priestly . I'm all about living our best life and finding our zone of brilliance and then removing the resistance so that we can go all in .
I say random , crazy shit , which is why I called this podcast the way that I did , and I really hate long drawn out intros , so let's fucking go . In yesterday's podcast I talked about affirmations and how I didn't like affirmations and PS .
There are like a number of things over the years that I had convinced myself that I was not into Journaling , meditation and affirmations . And I've had to eat my words because I am obsessed with all three of those fucking things and I am pretty sure that I could tell you my journey with affirmations , meditation and journaling .
I could tell you my journey with them and I could tell you how I do them differently and I'm pretty sure that I can make you obsessed with all three of those things you obsessed with all three of those things by the time we're done talking , and I fully believe they will change your life . They have changed my life .
They have changed my life what the hell they really have , and I avoided them like the plague before . So what the fuck ? Like the plague before ? So what the fuck ?
Anyway , what I was thinking about was it's weird that I would have not believed in affirmations , because one of the things I , uh , about 15 years ago I watched Oprah live and she said a number of things that I will never forget , and she said a number of things that I will never forget , and one of the things that she said was about affirmations .
Really , she said pay attention to what you say after the words . I am , because what you say after those two words comes looking for you . Oh for you . Oh . So if we were to say I'm so tired that was the example that she gave , I'm so tired , I can still hear it in her Oprah voice .
But if we are continually saying I'm so tired , I am just exhausted , I am so tired , guess what the universe comes looking for you with that thing .
You are programming your brain to feel tired , be tired and have things show up in your life , or you're going to pay more attention to things that make you more tired , make you feel heavy , make you feel exhausted . I mean , it's just an affirmation , right ?
It's just a thing we keep telling ourselves over and over and over and over again and then we wonder why we're so tired . Stop fucking saying it . Stop fucking saying it . We get to reprogram our subconscious mind using affirmations on what we want to have .
So if you're feeling exhausted right now , well , ps , if you're feeling exhausted right now , it's probably because you're doing too much of the shit that you that is feeling heavy and not enough of the stuff that lets your soul on fire . Maybe you're doing it in a wrong way .
Maybe , if you have your business and it's just feeling heavy to you , can you find a way around that so that you're using your strengths more than your weaknesses . Nothing will make me more tired than tech crap , right ? This is why I can get on this podcast .
I could sit here and I can record probably 20 podcast episodes in a day Because I know I'm just recording them without starting again and I'm recording them without editing them , so it doesn't take me any time at all to just press record and talk for 15 minutes , press stop and then next .
But I was feeling so heavy about this podcast before , not because of what I was speaking , not because I always have something to say no-transcript , it wasn't that it wasn't showing up in the podcast . It wasn't showing up in that energy . It was showing up and thinking , oh no , I have to edit that sneeze out . I have to edit Marley snoring out .
I have to edit out all of the pauses and the ohms and all of that shit . I got to stop saying that because you'll notice how many times I say them . But we can just do things that light us up and forget the things that don't . But we spend so much time in the energy of oh , I don't want to .
I am feeling so stuck , I am feeling so tired , I am so tired , I am so busy . How many people do you know that we're busy like a badge ? How many people do you know ? Pay attention , just , this is going to be fun . Pay attention from the next , in the next week or today .
Pay attention to how many people like what people say after the words I am , I'm so busy , I'm so tired , I'm so excited , I'm so powerful , I'm so badass . What are so powerful ? I'm so badass ?
What are you saying to yourself and what are you hearing people say I promise it will show you so much about the excuses that you're making and the reprogramming that you're doing . Catch yourself . I'm so broke , I'm so tired , I'm so busy . Those are easy ones , right ? Lots of people will say that how much are you complaining and how much are you reprogramming ?
Reprogram yourself . We can reprogram ourselves for worthiness . Ps , that's what we're going to be doing in Worth it . If you're not in that course by now , why are you not ? There's pre-work . Start now , start now . But we can reprogram ourselves for worthiness . We can reprogram ourselves for abundance .
We can reprogram ourselves to attract the energy and the things into our lives that we want to attract , things into our lives that we want to attract . Not only am I doing a worth it course , but after the worth it course , I'm going to do another course called what the fuck did she ? Just manifest . They work together .
If you're trying to manifest something oh , I did not know I was going to go here . But if you're trying to manifest something and it's not working , it's because you don't feel worthy of having it . So let's reprogram the unworthiness and then we'll be able to manifest all the amazing stuff .
But first , before we start that , start paying attention to what follows I am and intentionally reprogram it , especially in the mornings . The mornings are the best . So well , morning and night , start off with an I am statement that is powerful , and lead or leave lead . What am I trying to say here ? I don't even know what are words .
Before you go to bed , end with like end your day with an I am statement , or several I am statements . Write them out and read them in the morning , and read them again at night .
