¶ Setting Powerful Intentions for Success
I'm so glad that you're here . You are listening to what the fuck did she just say with your host ? That's me , sandra Priestly . I'm all about living our best life and finding our zone of brilliance and then removing the resistance so that we can go all in .
I say random , crazy shit , which is why I called this podcast the way that I did , and I really hate long drawn out intros . So let's fucking go . The day is April 8th , 2024 . I am recording this on the day which is 2024 .
I am recording this on the day which is coinciding with a new moon , the solar eclipse , a number of solar storms and the devil's comet . Now , all of this combined says to me holy shit . What's going to happen today ? How exciting . What are we stepping into ? How can we bring more of this to more of ourselves ? How can we step into our powerhouse ?
What messages will we get from the universe ? What ideas will show up today and then in the coming days that could change the trajectory of our lives for the better ? This is about . This is a an opportunity for us to heal from some things that are in our past that we're ready to let go of . This is about creating what we want . How can we manifest what ?
What do we want to set our intentions for for the next six months , for the next 10 years , for the next 20 ? This is really a powerful day that we can use for the greater good . But yet some posts that I see online and some things that I read online is really about fear base . It's about you know , make sure that you know what you're doing today .
Okay , what kind of crap is that , that fear base that is meant to sign people up for coaching , for services , for any number of things ? I can't stand it . We need to focus on what we can do to heal , how we can step more into our power . We need to focus on how can we use our space and our thoughts to create a life we love .
How can we decide that today is the day that we're going to go all in on ourselves , we're going to trust ourselves and we're going to make shifts and changes that are benefiting us forever ? That's what today is about . It doesn't have to be fear . We spend so much time in the fear . We spend so much time in the negativity .
Today I started to write in my journal and I start off most days writing in my journal and today I wanted to write about . I started writing about some inflammation . I'm having some medical issues and it's creating inflammation in my body and I don't like it .
I don't like waking up with my hands all tight and my feet hurting and it's difficult to release weight when you have a whole bunch of inflammation in your body . So , even though I'm doing everything that I can and I'm working with my naturopath and I'm following this diet , I sat this morning and I started to write what the actual fuck ? This is bullshit .
And then , halfway through that sentence , right before I said bullshit , that was what was coming out of my pen . Next I had the pen down , writing the B out . I knew it was wrong . I knew I didn't have to release that today . I felt when I was writing it , I felt all tense and then I went , huh . But today is about setting intentions .
Today is about creation . What is it that I desire is about creation . What is it that I desire ? What do I want this to feel like ? And I physically started to just relax . My nervous system started to regulate and I went what if it could just be easy ? What if it could just start to work ?
What if today is the day that supplements that I'm taking , the things that I'm , the changes that I've been making . What if today is the day that it works ? What if today is the day that it just starts to all release ? What if today is the day it's eclipse day ? It could be , and instantly I just started to feel better .
If we feel this anger or this negativity or this unwanted emotion , I don't want you to sit in it . I don't care what you do , but I don't want you to sit in it . So if you feel like you need to release that , and so you use a journal or you use a coach or you use your friends , do whatever means you can to release it .
Not revel in it , not glamorize it . Don't seek out a friend who will justify your excuses and help you stay where you're at . Don't do that Understand being sitting in awareness of the fact that you have this negative emotion , this unwanted fear , this unwanted whatever the fuck it is . Sit in that and go . What do I need to do right now ?
Do I need to release it , and how do I need to release it ? For me , I like to grab my journal and say dear universe , what the actual fuck ? Or dear universe . This is how I'm feeling now . I write it , all that negative crap out , and then I say I release this all now . Sometimes I will say , lord , what would you have me do ?
Or sometimes I will say I release this all now and I choose to believe , and then I'll write out good stuff that helps me process through . I see too many women staying stuck in their problems and then wondering why they don't shift their life life . The whole part of this podcast , my existence probably is to help people shift through the stock and guess what ?
I know what it feels like . Sometimes I have to actively work on it , moment by moment to moment , because my default for my entire life probably has been this worry and fear and decisions that I'm making now . I want to make decisions now in order to control the outcome when that's just a lack of faith . So I I really know what I'm talking about .
I actively do the work that I help my clients to do . I've had to . I know what I'm talking about because I lived it , not because I learned it , but because I learned it through my own actions and learned it and embodied it and it's helped me . Yeah , so if you feel , if you feel the need to release it .
I want you to release it and not just revel in it , not roll in it . But I also want you to sit and think , just like I did with my journaling today do I need to do ? I need to go there or can I do ? I feel like I can just go , or do I feel like I can just go ? Not today , motherfucker . I don't need to go there .
I don't need to do that pattern . I'm going to create what I want Today and for the next few days . This is about intention setting intentions , setting intentions of what it is that we want to create In the powerhouse . Today . I gave them this . Well , I give them exercises and we talk about using our space .
So I add in some feng shui , I add in a lot of mindset , and one of the things that I talked about was different things , different ways that you can set intentions . A lot of times people go oh yeah , I really want to set intentions , but I don't have time for three hours of journaling . What the actual hell ?
Who said that three hours of journaling is necessary ? The situation doesn't need to be perfect . I don't care if you just grab your phone , the notes section of your phone and go point for them . This is what I want .
So , in the powerhouse today , one of the exercises that I gave them in , amongst the rest , was to consider that I was a magical genie and I granted them unlimited wishes for the next six months . I told them to grab their phone , the notes section of their phone , computer journal , whatever it happens to be and write that out . What is it that you want ?
One of the examples I said was if you want to create , you want $7 billion , or you want to be more rich than Musk , more rich than Zuckerberg , perfect , write it down . Now . If your goal is to be richer than Elon Musk , we might have to adjust some things in the universe , for that might take you a bit of time . Maybe not , but there's .
There's when we start to dream , when we start to just imagine what it is that we want to create . There is magic in every single bullet point that we put down . If you're saying that what you want is to be richer than Musk , well then we know that creating abundance is important to you . How can we create that abundance ?
Well , we don't create that abundance by bitching about being poor . We don't create that abundance by bitching about carbon tax . We don't create that abundance by bitching about carbon tax . We don't create that abundance by staying in fear and staying in negativity and staying in this lack mentality . We create it with intention and we can start that today
¶ Setting Intentions for Manifestation
. So that's your task for today , on this powerful eclipse , this powerful new moon , is to set your intentions . Imagine that I am a genie granting you unlimited wishes for the next six months . What would you choose ? Thank you so much for listening .
