[FENG SHUI FRIDAY]: using your entrance to bring in more good chi!

I say random , crazy shit , which is why I called this podcast the way that I did , and I really hate long drawn out intros , so let's fucking go . You know what's super cool about being able to , or or choosing to , release a podcast every single day ? I get to do feng shui tips on Fridays and it doesn't feel overwhelming to me .

I mean , when I was only releasing on Mondays , feng shui Monday seems sucky , or like feng shui first Monday of the week or the month , like feng shui first Monday of the week or the month , but daily podcast releases and feng shui Fridays that seems fun . So today I want to talk about your front door , the power of your front door .

Feng shui doesn't have to be super confusing and it just it doesn't have to be like a bunch of things that don't feel right to you .

For me , it's just about making your home feel powerful and your home being like a conversation with your subconscious mind , basically , and so , in order for us to manifest anything that we want , we can use our space to help support us .

This is why every single thing that I do whether it's my membership , whether it's the two courses that I have coming up worth it and what the fuck did she just manifest . There will always be some thing about your space there . Like I just can't see it as separate .

I had a coach one time tell me that , um , I needed to do either business coaching or feng shui and I thought you just don't fucking get it , because I can't separate them out . There's no possible way that you can manifest everything that you desire when your home is holding you hostage in the past . Like it just it's not possible . It's just not possible .

So we can use our space to help manifest all the things that we dream of and help reprogram our subconscious mind so we don't hold ourselves back .

So one of the things that I love to do and the place that I love to start is your architectural front door , like not the door that you come through from the garage , you know , and then go through the back , like this is the door that the architect wanted you to walk through , the one that is very dominant in your home , the one that is very dominant in

your home and this is where all of the positive energy , the fresh energy and the opportunities come through . The front fucking door door is situated well or designed well , our front door area , so that we can have as much positive energy , as much positive chi , as much opportunity coming to us as possible . So there's a couple of ways we do that .

Number one we want to make sure that it is clutter free . You know , when my kids were little , they would come in the door and just drop their shoes at the door and I would walk in , I would open the door and , bam , slam it into some tiny little size two shoe and the door wouldn't open . Well , then we also had a black lab and she would bolt .

So you can imagine , I know that opportunities open or come through the front door and I go to open the door , I get it stuck on a shoe and I'm trying to like squish through as much as I can without letting the dog run into the street . So this was not ideal . It's not ideal , I got to tell you .

Anyway , we made some changes , trained the dog , set aside some , um , some shelving that had the kids' names on them so that they wanted to put their shoes away , and we made sure that we could open the door freely .

I mean , we want to open it up as wide as possible , we want it to feel as luxurious and large as possible so that we can attract more opportunities and better cheap .

So first things first is we want to declutter it . Second thing , grab the WD-40 and make sure that the doorknob works well . If it doesn't work well or if the key gets stuck , make sure you fix that , but also the hinges , make sure that when it opens it swings nicely , it doesn't creak , it doesn't squeak , it doesn't feel like it gets stuck .

You want to be able to open it up so that there's ease of the positive energy coming through and the opportunities coming through . You want to have a welcome mat . Now , I am sarcastic as hell and so I love those doormats that say go away .

On them , you know , like please hide the packages around the back , whatever they say , right , like those like super funny , cheeky , sarcastic welcome mats . But if you're thinking that the opportunities or the cheat or the energy is coming through and standing right on your doorstep and the messages go away , it's not great . Our subconscious mind is reading .

Those things Our subconscious mind is reading go away and the universal energy doesn't want to come in . So you want to have a welcome mat that says welcome , or just a plain welcome mat . You want to have something that would be encouraging . You get it , okay . So the hinges , everything is clutter-free . The hinges are nicely WD-4D'd . A welcome mat .

You want a working doorbell or like a nicely moving door knocker , because you want to be able to hear when opportunity is knocking at your door . Because you want to be able to hear when opportunity is knocking at your door . I'm pretty sure that this is where all of these sayings came from . Is feng shui ?

I don't know , but you want to make sure that if opportunity is knocking , that you can fucking hear it . Also , you want to have a really good light outside of your front door . You want if people were driving past . I always say like if the pizza man can't find your house , the universe can't find your house with gifts that are coming to you .

So you want to have make sure that you have a nice working light . You would not believe . I had a client one time . She lived out in the country and she had like a yard light . That was an automatic light but it was burnt out .

And so , after I had talked about the importance of making sure that your home is lit up , she , I don't know got the big , huge ladder or a truck or a loader or something I don't know Tractor , went up there , changed the light and I am not kidding you , she got I think it was , I'm trying to think .

Anyway , she had more opportunities come to her and her business started to expand . Like overnight . She saw results . It can happen that fast . Like imagine the universe just wants to bring you stuff , like wants to bring you abundance . You are made for abundance , but sometimes we cockblock the universe by not showing up to receive it . So this will help .

You also want to make sure that there is a sign outside your door , so house numbers that people can see , or , if you live out in the country , like a sign that has your name on it or your land location , whatever feels good to you .

But too many times we don't have these things set up , we don't have our home designed so that it actually has a presence , and creating a presence of your front door and allowing it to be as open as possible makes a huge difference in what you can attract into your life . The other thing , another tip , is what I call . They're called chi activators .

So on either side of your door , your front entrance , you ideally want it to be feeling extremely expansive , but a lot of times we just have like a small little space with a small thing , like a small piece of the house on either side . What you can do is place Qi activators on either side and that might be two flower pots on either side of the door .

What happens is it visually expands the door and it just feels a lot larger than it is . All of this is about how it makes you feel . Now , imagine you walk up to your house and you're tripping over a bike and it's laying on the sidewalk and you walk up and there's a bunch of stuff all over the place .

The door you're struggling to put the key in the lock . It's not really opening that well . When you finally do increase , you can't open it . Imagine my dog is bolting out your you know their shoes all over the place and it just feels like you've got to kind of like creep in and try to um , try to getting into the house versus walking into the home .

And having walking up to this home with a nice wide walkway , or even just a cleared walkway , and um , the door feels wider than it is and the key glides in nicely . You can open the door . It opens wide , there's a beautiful space where you can take your shoes off and place them away . I mean , it just feels different , right , it just feels expansive .

Ideally , we want to feel expansive . We want to feel like we have all the room to receive new things in our lives . So there you go , all my tips for the front door to make it as powerful as possible . Thank you so much for listening .
