I'm so glad that you're here . You are listening to what the fuck did she just say with your host ? That's me , Sandra Priestly . I'm all about living our best life and finding our zone of brilliance and then removing the resistance so that we can go all in .
I say random , crazy shit , which is why I called this podcast the way that I did , and I really hate long drawn out intros , so let's fucking go . I had the best conversation with a client this morning . She has recently just shifted her business slightly , shifted what she offers really , and she was so excited about it .
She had this gut feeling that this was right and she loved it so much . She was getting tons of leads and all of these amazing things , but she hasn't made the $10,000 months that you know most people want to within the first 13 seconds of launching a business .
And so she got stuck in her head and she admitted to me that she was sort of like feeling sorry for herself and so she wasn't reaching out . Sort of like feeling sorry for herself and so she wasn't reaching out . What's interesting is , throughout this conversation , we just shifted the energy .
We talked through the negative crap , the negative thoughts , recognized a lot of the negative thoughts that she had , that , you know she wasn't even really realizing . We're over . We're running in the background , the default that was running in the background . She didn't even notice that it was there and so we uncovered it .
We recognized it was bullshit and we replaced the default of that negative default with strategy . What does she need to do for the next step ? What does she need to do to shift the energy and what does she need to do to get back on track ?
Sometimes it's just stop rolling in the dog shit and get back onto the path , so sometimes we don't have to go all the way through doing the deep , dark shit , doing the shadow work , understanding why we think the way that we do and reprogramming everything .
Sometimes it's just like paying attention , staying in awareness of these are thoughts that are holding me back . Let's stop that crap and let's get back on track . What do I need to do ? How can I take the next step forward ? If you are spending all of your time thinking , you're not acting .
If you are spending all of your time in negative thoughts , you're pretty much going fucking backwards . That is not where we're going . If you have a thoughts , you're pretty much going fucking backwards . That is not where we're going . If you have a dream , you have the capacity to achieve it , so what we need to do is get you to push forward .
So the first thing we need to do is what are you saying to yourself ? Sit in awareness . What are you saying to yourself ? What are the actions that are you taking and how are you distracting yourself away from your goal ? The actions that you're taking and how are you distracting yourself away from your goal ?
What is crazy cool is that all she needed to do was shift , as we were on this call , as she was talking , as we were shifting from the negative defaults that she doesn't need to have she doesn't need to roll in to what is the next strategy . What are we going to do ? How do we get back on track ?
Guess what notification more leads , and she's a lead generator . Every single time we're on a call , she gets more leads , more clients , more I don't know whatever she happens to be talking about . She can generate them , and that's because the energy shifted from resistance to allowance .
If you're spending a lot of time in resistance , in overthinking , in the default bullshit thoughts , imagine you were either staying stuck or going completely backwards , away from your goal . That's not where we're going . We're going forward . Recognize , sit in awareness , recognize what you're doing , recognize the bullshit .
Recognize when you are sitting in the distraction , too . You know that distraction where it's like someone said something to you that was hurtful and all you want to do is roll in that . Focus on that .
Sometimes we create situations that are way smaller than we feel them to be in order to distract ourselves , in order to distract ourselves from the goal , and that just tells us that we need a little bit more work to do . You're sitting way more in resistance than you need to be . Do the work that you need to do to get out of the dog shit .
