All right, Ladies and gentlemen, aew fool Gear is coming to Los Angeles, California at the Kia Forum. Lovely time of year, the fall is here. The Santa Ana winds are blowing at fifty miles an hour in the valley and through the hills, but the west side stays cool, chill and laid back, and that's where full Gear will be. I saw b York at the same place where they're going, and she rocked it so party on last time she was in California and it was named a different live.
I've seen York last three times. I love York.
I wish I could have seen York ever. Dude.
She was in a band before that called the Sugar Cubes and she was super sick in that too, and I even have that on my LP of it. I have it on record.

She came out dressed like a goose and put the SmackDown on someone. She's all pro wrestling.

All right, we sidetrack a lot on this, but I love our side trucks. All right.
First off, we.
Have the ae W TBS Television Championship. It's Chris Statlander the champion versus Julia Hart. And at this point we don't know if it's going to be Red Velvet or sky Blue, but sky Blue is the full time employee, Red Velvet is the part time one, so it's safe to say it's going to be sky Blue.
I don't want to crap.
I hate saying bad things about wrestling, but the title run for Christatlander has not worked. It didn't really work when she came out and won it from a tired and just wrestled Jade Cargill. I haven't seen them come up with a story for her, so I don't know whose fault it is, but it hasn't worked. Sky Blue is too green. She's not going to get the championship yet.
But they found something with little tiny Julia Hart, who used to do the cheerleader gimmick that nobody really liked, and then she became dark evil Julia Hart, and everybody likes dark Julia Heart a little bit more. And she wears like the old sombrero hat and looks.
She really is appropriating sort of the Day of the Dead Hispanic. I mean, like the maker is she kind of No, it's not bad, I'm saying it. Just she looks like a hot version of what you'd see in Heaven. You're like, oh wait, that s that skeleton's got some meat on its bones, doesn't it.
You're like Heaven or hell? Man, this place is great. So she's an intrut. Well, let's talk about Julia for a minute, because I don't know aw from the very beginning, so I don't know if Britt Baker was THEIRS that they can claim her as THEIRS, or if this is the first one they can claim as THEIRS, or maybe there's someone else. I don't know, But if she feels like she's grown up within ae W and is now getting her chance to wrestle, and I'll give her this.
She had a match against Willow, and I like Willow. She's a she's a bigger girl and wrestles that way, and she's sold so big. For Julia Harden this match, she didn't have to sell that big. But they had a match and there were moments of it where I was like, all right, this chick's showing off a bit and doing her thing. Man. She had a couple moves in the I was like, look at that, and I'm sure that she's working hard and understands that. You know,
she needs more reps and things like that. Everybody just needs time in the ring, right. That's why the house shows are so good, because you can kind of experiment and learn your craft on the road like they do in WWE, and they don't really have that as consistent in AW for a lot of reasons, some good and
some that you wouldn't agree with. But Julia Hart I think has a chance to win this match, and I think the reason why is because it's going to be a triple threat, which means you can protect Chris Statlander and she doesn't have to be involved in the finish. She can be out of the ring selling an injury, and all of a sudden, Julia Hart can get a move off on Sky Blue and get the victory and become their champion. And maybe I don't know if she
can act. I haven't really seen her do promos, but maybe there's something there in a homegrown talent that they've built up and they can turn her into a next level champion. Maybe, but I think she's gonna win this match. Jeff, what about you?
If Julia Hart only becomes good eight years from now, she'd still be ahead of all the wrestling schedule. Alex just texted that our producer just told me Julia Hart's only twenty two years old. That's incredible. That's like she's MJF style crushing it. She has a full gear match against the champ. Sky's the limit for knowing that. Also, yeah, she had a lot of twenty two, but she had a life like my dad didn't make it past twenty two.
You know how fast she's like, that's how but I'm saying, like my dad's career was fast, Like that's how fast this girl's career is going. She's already on TV.
And she's great, And like you said, there was a lot of little moments, and when you watch your wrestler, where you go, okay, someone's learning some things, Like remember when David Arquette did his first like whatever that's called, where you flipped the guy, Like whenever I go, oh hey, someone taught him how to do that thing down in Mexican. So there's those moments Julia Hart too, where you see it go okay. Now she's learned some tricks. She's learned some little things, which is pretty good.
Ae W Tag Team Champions Ricky Starks and Big Bill. This isn't a match that I'm hyped about. It hasn't been really built up. It's got people in it that I barely even know. I know Rush is cool, but I haven't seen too much of his mic stuff, and I haven't seen too many of his matches. The Texas Death Match, Swerve Strickland versus Hangman Page, Jeff, you and I have never agreed more. This is a must win, a must win for mister Strickland, a must win for
whoever is booking this show. Swerve Strickland must win and go on to the next level of professional wrestling, whatever level that is. I don't care if you want him to take a title from Christian I don't care if you want to put him up against MJF. But he needs to be involved with the title picture. Jeff, tell everybody how cool Swerve Strickland is for the tenth time.
He is my favorite, one of my favorites in aew He's so talented, so good. You know, he's he's acrobatic while also being like muscular and strong, so you see, you get feats of strength, but then you also get the flippies, which I really like. Uh. And also one thing about him that in my humble opinion is you could watch him in a match with a big, strong guy, you watch him in a match with John Moxley, but then you can also watch him have a great match
with like Darby Allen. He's he's, he's he's kind of got the whole. There's there's no limit for this guy. And I hope that that means that he beats a hangman Adam Page, and then we get to see him in a higher, higher level against the against the guys that are getting a little bit more main event status. That's that's what I hope. I hope that he beats Hangman.
Also on the show We've Got Then. This is the only name Chris Jerich has ever come up with that. I don't like the Golden Jets. Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho sounds like something a dad would come up with versus the young buds the Golden Jets. I'm like, you went from less Sex Gods to the Golden Jets. Like, less Sex Gods is awesome. You just threw a ley in there.
For trying to capitalize off of the Golden Bachelor, right, like the guy that's that's yeah.
The gold the one that sounds like Kermit the Frog. Yeah, you heard it talk.
So they're they're like Jericho and Omega. He's like basically saying like we're older than these young bucks. We're golden, you know, like that's the new ways. My dad's not old, he's golden, you know.
I hate it. I hate it. So they're wrestling, and I'm sure it'd be great. There's four good guys in there. The International Championship is Orange Cassidy versus John Moxley. I think mox League goes and gets his title back on that one. Jeff I think you agree. Yeah, Orange Cassidy guy, I know the a W Women's Championship, Hikarushida versus Tony Storm,
the cinematic, the Betty Davis of professional wrestling. She has completely changed her gimmick and everyone seems to love it, and they love it so much that I think she's gonna win, and she's gonna have a pretty solid black
and white title reign, which would be interesting for her. Look, I haven't loved every segment she's done with this, but I will say this, the gimmick itself is very very very smart, very slick, and she's doing her best with it and she's making the most of it, and I think she's going to be a champion.
Yeah, I'm not crazy about it. I don't get it. It's you know, that's all. Oh, I'm like Marilyn Moreau, but I beat ass You're like, I don't see it. I don't understand. So it's very very confusing for me. But I don't have to get it. Not everything's for Jeffy.
Sting, Darby Allen and Adam Freakin Copeland versus Christian Cage, Lucasaurus and the young Nick Wayne who just got to win over that peacock dude triple threat. This protects the old guys, they don't have to wrestle all the time. This story can start to get to its focal point, which would be Christian versus Edge versus Adam, which would
be really really cool. And then Adam Copeland can move on to what I would assume would be the world title picture, because he's Adam Copeland and it doesn't make sense for him to go after TV titles and things like that. He should be a top level dude. And then finally the aw World Championship MJF versus j White. Jeff, who do you have? Well, now there's also the Ring of Honor Tag Team Championships, which MJF and some would versus the Guns. Maybe it'll maybe it'll be an invisible wrestler,
so we have that match as well. So Jeff, let's do some Who do you got winning it? Who you got winning the Women's World Championship? Tony Storm or Hikarushida.
I hope it's Hikaroshida. I like her, she's coolly. I don't. I'm not crazy about the Tony Storm gimmick. I like Tony Storm. No, no, no, no, hate, just not a fan of what she's doing right now. So I got Hikara Shida Hakarushida.
Talk to me about Sting Darby Allen and Adam Copeland versus Christian Cage, Lucasaurus, Nick Wayne.
I think this is your sleeper match of the week. I think that this is going to be I think this might steal the show, or it has potential to steal the show. It's Edge versus Christian Akaadam Copeland versus Christian Cage. But I think that this is you know, we've wanted this for a long time and we're gonna get to see it, which is really exciting. Like you said, we have Sting Darby Allen, Nick Wayne and Luchasaurus to kind of take the bigger heavy bumps and make some moments,
but also kind of protect the older guys. But I think that they're gonna go all out, two best friends beating the shit out of each other, pretending that they hate each other. I think it's gonna be really exciting and it has potential to be the match of the week for sure for me.
You know, they've had this match in their pocket for forty years. Man, They've just been waiting for this moment. That's like they're gonna, They're gonna, all right, dude, who do you have MJF and his soon to be announced opponent or the Gun Brothers, the Guns.
I hope the Guns win. I'm a big fan of them. I'm friends with them. I like what they do. They're in trow is so sick a.
Man. Oh, it's so good with the spotlight oh man.
Yeah, and the guns the way they shoot all I tried to recreate that, and I don't know how he's doing multiple shots of of spit with the gun finger at the I was like, how is he holding water in while spitting some out and then spitting more out? It's pretty cool. It's I would say the Guns have the best intro coming down to the ring and music combo. That that whole intro is the best we've seen since the Attitude era, which in the Attitude era, everyone had a great entrance.
It seems yeahs.
And MJF doesn't need doesn't need to be the Tag Team Champions. MJF is a star, he doesn't need the Tag Team Champions also, So I hope that the Guns win the Tag Team Champions. I don't care who MJF has as a partner. Maybe he has nobody, and that's why the Guns win. I I I love MJF. I don't need him to be the tag team champion, so I hope the Guns win that for sure.
Agreed. And speaking of MJF and rounding out the show, the champ without his title, a king without a crown, MJF versus the usurper Jay White with the exotic accent. Who's winning this match? And you better get this right. It's MJF.
I mean MJF is he's the Otani of pro wrestling right now. He's in a tag team match and the AW World Championship match. That's pitching and hitting. Bro This guy he's doing, he's doing double time on full year, so he's the man. He's gonna be the highest paid wrestler, which also is the otani of pro wrestling. So I think MGF has to win. He's gonna win, and I would be furious if they put the strap on Jay White.
No disrespect, Jay White, but you're no MJF. So I think MGF crushes this and hopefully we get some sort of surprises to make me more interested in that match.
