The 2023 Predictions Show!

It is the Prediction Show today. Yes, I can't believe, and we're actually doing it, and believe it or not, we're doing it earlier than we did it last year. Last year we didn't like January or something. But it is time for the Prediction Show and it is starting as soon as we come back from the break. So listen carefully because the chats are trying to mess everything up. Here's how it works. I have in front of me all of the predictions from last year. I will be

reading those in the final segment of the show. We actually had a lot of people that did pretty well last year. Although there is one that I think sticks out more than the others, but we may have to put that to a vote or something like that at the end. And in the first segment and the second segment, we will be taking your calls your predictions for three. There's two rules. You may not predict anyone's death. That

is not allowed, okay, you will be disqualified. And also try to make your prediction at least somewhat bold, because what we've learned over the years is if you're too wacky, ain't gonna win. Okay, But if you predict something too easy, well, if too many people pick something too easy, you're not gonna win. The boldest prediction will win if there's five

people that are correct. Now, if you presume that every single solitary person is gonna be too bold, you could predict something easy like w W E will be in business in some form by the end of You could try that, but you're probably not going to win because we had, you know, six or seven people that were either right on or close last year. And so if you predicted something too easy, you ain't gonna win. So

is Stephen from Yuma, Arizona. And my prediction for is that good We'll break Honkey's record for longest raining inter counting old champion of all time. Good will break the record set by the Honky Tonk Command for the longest intercuntinal title championship rain of all time. We actually, I mean, I'm sure he's probably done this, but can he do that this year? How long? Was Honky is right? Is it possible? Is it mathematically possible for that to come true?

This is Ray from Austin, and my prediction is that Impact Wrestling will announce a new TV deal that will take place in that will get them in over eighty million US households. Wow, Impact will make a new television deal that will that will are you still there? Are

you still there? A caller? I'm still there? Okay? Is this is this one singular network that is available in over eighty million homes? It is one singular network in the rady mon coms. But it will have a streaming component with a simil cow. Okay, Well that's irrelevant, but thank you very much for the call that. Uh, you know, there's not a lot of options with that one right there nowadays. But to duly noted. Oh, by the way, the Honky tonk Man's title reign four hundred and fifty

Guys, this is Ryan from Ann Harbor, Michigan, and my bold prediction is that former w w E champion v Gender Mahal will return to the main event picture and he will wrestle for the World Championship in w although he

unfortunately will not win, unfortunately, so he will be hindered. Okay, I got it. Ginder Mahal returns to the main event scene in w w E and fights four of the World Championship. You know what's funny is I I would not rule out the possibility of Cody becoming champion and one of his first challengers being Gender. Who is this? Uh, this is Vincent from Springfield. Uh. My bold prediction is that Hangman, Adam Page and FTR will beat the elite for the trio's title this year. You realize SmackDown debut at three point nine million, and and all those fans go, well, it's called a debut, and this happens for every show. is a j from Bahrain. Yes, and my bold prediction is that Eddie Kingston is gonna be the one to be thrown m JF. And it's gonna happen in Adie's hometown, Queens, New York at a W Grant Slam. But then m JF will win it back, will win back the a W World Championship. Romp Eddie Kingston at full gear in a match with a stipulation, this is it. I want to thank you. If you're gonna give us something, then you gotta give us a little more behind it to make it bold. I like that. I just was was It was like, I don't think Eddie Kingston is going to beat MJF for the title at Grand Slam, but that prediction is bold enough as it is. And he kept going, hell that at its full gear, he's gonna win it back, and there's gonna be a step. You should have added the stip ball. He was added, Hey, because that's bold. Championship by the end of WOW. So they're going full China with her. She's gonna win a men's title in w W. That's bold. I should have added she'll win it from Jericho. That's bold. So, not only are we gonna have the first ever women's main event nami W, We're gonna have the main event be Jamie Hayter first Britt Baker for the a W Women's title, and it will be at all out in the all out main event. because we did better than usual last year. So here we go, right, and Cumberland got through first last year. And he predicted that Paul Hayman will marry Caleb Braxton. He was wrong, dig and predicted Coda Abushi and Kenny Omega would face off in a e W. Wrong. And when you think about everything that happened with Coda Boushi last year, who could have ever thought Tara predicted? And

here's another one. Tara predicted Cody Rhodes would break the step and win the a e W title with a pedigree And it was only like a month later he left a W and he went to w w E. And the funny thing is he may win the w w E title with a pedigree this year. Incredible win. Jammer predicted that Jerry mcdivott would retire and his law firm would not defend w w E in the mL W lawsuit and Vince would hire Constantine Cairos instead. Wrong, but it's funny that mL W lawsuits still outstanding over

a year later, still out there. Eddie correctly predicted that an n x T two point oh show would sell over three thousand tickets to an event. And if you watched n x T two point oh last year when it first began, that was a pretty bold prediction. Now, I did ask him, is this like a normal show or is this like they bring in all of the talent from the main roster everything like that? He said had to be a normal show, but it did take place over WrestleMania weekend, So I'll let you guys determined

if that was bold enough. Steve predicted Roman Reigns would hold the Universal title all year. He was correct? Was that bold enough? Nick predicted that this year kg Mudo would finally lose the kto Kio Mia, which in fact did happen kiom have beat him via submission on July. Was that bold enough, Mike, because you doubt it was bold enough when he made it last year? Well, technically one. I don't know if he has any better off for it.

But Brandon predicted that Austin Theory would win money in the bank and would be w E champion by the end of the year. Close to my friend, what's wrong? And keep in mind Vincent already hitched his trade on TV Dawson Theory at the time, So how bold was that? In fact? Otis p stink Trigger predicted the A w video game would come out last year. It still hasn't come out, and its Metacritic scores would at least double

W W E two K and which was wrong. Nathan predicted Alley Catch would beat Jeff Jared in a Good Housekeeping match. Was wrong. Lewis predicted Colt Commander would become the t NT champion. Whoa he or something like that. It's like, wow, look what happened this year? That was wrong? That was wrong? Now this one's kind of a maybe.

Pierce predicted that we would see an a E W W W E crossover on TV and now there was a John Cena congratulations twenty years Raw Delia Bob, and there were a couple of a W guys that had videos like congratulating him and everything like that. Uh So, I mean, like Chris Jericho was on Raw that happened. It was it was a congratulations of John Cina, but like nobody was in the ring or anything like that.

So what do you guys think about that one? We have got Mike Semperviv predicting Chris Dickerson Dickinson will beat John Moxi for the g c W title and would then lose it to Atticus Kogar later in the year. Wrong in so many ways. That was very very wrong, very wrong, very wrong. Producer Dom Producer Don predicted a e W would go on a multi week West Coast tour sell out every venue. Now, they did have a

two West Coast shows June one and third. They both sold out in l A, but it was not a multiweek tour, so I would say close, but did pretty good though pretty good dum Bryan Alvarez predicted a W will get a new TV deal before the year is over. It will more than double the money from its previous deal. Wrong. Can't you give the goddamn thing. Wesley predicted Hangman would make you the entire year as a w champion. Boy

did he not? He did not. Ryan predicted Byron Left which of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers would appear on a W TV and punched Dan Howising in the face. What a horrible prediction and wrong. Wrong. Matt predicted two all out, Keith Lee will defeat the Hangman for the A E W title. Wrong, it was very very well. Addie predicted Triple H would leave w W E and start a new promotion or takeover. Wrong. Yeah, not takeover w W E, by the way, it was takeover whatever promotion he went to.

That was very wrong. He actually came back and took over w W for a while, then got ousted again. Inter sessions they ousted, but I guess he's not ousted at the moment. H Nick predicted by the time the year is over, Shaun Waltman will be the A W, T and T champion, accepting an open challenge, winning the belt and would be signed to a W Wrong. Derek predicted Dan Housing would appear on a TV show as a guest T B S or t n T. Wrong. Don the Don Rossberger, I can actually do his voice

this year. Predicted Dan Housen team with Orange, Cassidy and Yano and win the six man Never Open Way titles. That was wrong. Rick the Guardian of Chaos predicted Paul Hayman would be all Elite. Wrong. Matt predicted all three of The New Day would be all Elite and when the tag team titles wrong and man no one could have seen what happened to Big e Ken predicted Teagan Knox will be the next day W Women's champion. Incorrect. Tony predicted Dynamite would beat Rang in the ratings in

total viewership twice. Wrong. Ray predicted one of the owen Hart Cups would be won by one of the members of the Dark Order. Wrong. Coach Walton predicted in the middle of a gym class at his elementary school with kids screaming in the background, that m JF would not step foot in an A E W rampage ring for a match a segment nothing all year long, and he was correct. Dalton predicted Jungle Boy it was gonna be

a triple champion this year. He was wrong. Cookie Predictativity Stratton would be successful at XT debut on the main roster. That was wrong. Andrew predicted someone currently a side from a W would appear in the Royal Rumble that year wrong. Dan predicted n x T would be absorbed to the main roster would not exist by in the year wrong. Alex predicted braun Acre would debut on the main roster

and win a major title. Now he did show up and he beat Dolph Ziggler to win back the n x T title, but I don't know about that one. And no, I'm two years away from owing a thousand dollars mm hm. And then Josh predicted Brian Danielson wins the g one, which is wrong. Now we got a lot to talk about here. These are the ones that I would say are arguable. The a W W W E crossover on TV, and two we did have active

a w wrestlers giving tributes to John Cena. On Raw, we had braun Breaker debuting on the main roster and winning a title, which in fact he kind of did, but it was not like a full debut. He just showed up to get some pub and win that belt back. And dum with the multi week tour. This sells out every venue. These are those are arguable, so I think we kind of have to write those off right arguable ones.

Now the ones there there are four that were exact n XT selling over three thousand tickets to a show which they did do over WrestleMania Weekend. Roman Reigns not losing the title all year long.
