intro give us a thumbs up leave a comment down below with your predictions for this show and make sure you sign up for wrestle league where you can compete against us in predictions warfare are you worried about pits yes i was yeah yeah i just realized i've just been reaching up with my arms to do the quite pointless, sight gag to open this episode to get a briefcase down, which is actually a lunchbox. And as you started, I thought, have I got sweaty pits? Have I?

No, I think you're actually going to... Have I? Yeah, no, I think you're all right. It's just the gooch then.

maybe uh our wonderful big hd cameras will pick up more than my eyes can see uh or you know maybe our answer will actually go through and enhance the areas whole bits spreading across my pits and breast but yeah uh give us a comment down below with what you think and join us in wrestle league to compete against us in predictions thousands of people take part in predictions and there's real life prizes to be won irl prizes to be won

Yeah, we're doing all right in the office. I've had a pretty good run. I had a good double or nothing. Yeah, and there were a lot of matches on there. Not so on this card. No, it's actually the complete opposite. If you miss an AEW pay-per-view on WrestleLeague, you are in trouble.

because there's like 15 matches. But if you miss a WWE major show... You can come back from that. You're only four points down. Yeah, although I would say this one's a tricky one in terms of your Joker pick, because there's only one title match where you... Use your joker to get those double points. But it could go either way, I feel. Not what with Becky and Lyra Valkyria. Well, it could go either way.

But that is quite a, I think I'm quite confident in Lynch winning the Intercontinental belt. Well, spoilers for your pick when we get there. But yeah, only a four match card as is so far. They may announce another match on SmackDown, but I think it is unlikely. Four matches. Probably three quarters of an hour of ad breaks and little promo spots for merch. I'm predicting 2.45 for this show. Two hours and 45 minutes. When was the last time WWE ran a main roster two hour 40?

main card. Backlash, literally last month. That wasn't 2 hours 45, was it? Yeah, it was about 2 hours 50, I think. No, it was like... Was it? Yeah, I think so. I was going to say Elimination Chamber 2022. Let me double check, but I'm pretty sure I'm right on that one. I always remember when the Whites came in and it was main evented by the all-time great Seth Rollins, Matt Riddle. What do they call that match?

pit fight yeah the fight pit fight pit match fight sweaty pits yep uh i remember that being two hours 47 i was like the attitude era's back Because we've only got four matches, we are having to fill here with, ironically, how long things are. two and a half hours, 2.33. Was it really? Yeah. But that's the cut-up version. It wouldn't have been that long if you watched it in real time. I'm going to skip through, get to an end of a match.

That would have broadcast over three hours, surely. I mean, I've got adverts here. But I'm not getting any merch adverts or sponsor bits. Well, who knows? Maybe that is cut out. That's lost history now. No one knows how truly long Backlash was. Yeah. Stop playing. We're going to get freaked by Netflix. Yeah, we've got four matches to go through here. It's gone off the rails this episode.

And we're going to kick things off with one of our Money in the Bank ladder matches. I think we go through the women's one first. Yeah. Which is Alexa Bliss versus Roxanne Perez versus Rhea Bladdy Ripley versus Julia versus Naomi versus Stephanie Vacker for the... Women's Money in the Bank contract. Well, so 50% of these people are that awkward class post-WrestleMania, and in Roxanne Perez's case before then, of here's some women after WrestleMania.

You usually see them on NXT. We're going to build them as from NXT, and then they're going to have a main event tag match, lose, and now they're officially here with slightly different characters. Yeah, and Stephanie Becker. And also here's Stephanie Vaker, who was wrestling like two, three weeks after WrestleMania as well. She was on the Raw After Mania Shadow match with Io Sky. Was there another one? Julia, Perez, and Vaker. There wasn't like a-

Jordan Grace never appeared. Although, rumor has it that she's also getting called up soon, as is Ricky Saints. That's why you have to get rid of R-Truth, because you're bringing up all these new people. But I think, to that point of, you know, you mentioned in the WrestleC News yesterday, like over half of this field were in NXT 12 months ago. In some cases, we're in NXT three months ago. I think this is so much more exciting than the men's one. It's refreshing.

isn't it because the men's one no offense has andrade and la night in when they showed the graphic and there's seth rollins there and then either side of it is just nobody nobody nobody you're gonna take ladder ladder bumps you're gonna take ladder bumps yeah but yeah with the women i think they've done a good job of not just making it fresh because yeah you've got these three formerly nxt women who have just been called up officially naomi's got a decent shout because she's in the mix with

Bianca Belair and she's doing this crazy over the top heel character so I could see her being quite an unhinged presence with the briefcase going after Tiffany Stratton Rhea Ripley of course she has this feud that never properly continued after, weirdly enough, that tag match where she teamed with the O-Sky. They won, and then they had a look at the belt.

And there's been no follow-up since then. Well, you know, that was four weeks ago. What more do you want? Oh, yeah, yeah. And who's the other one? Alexa Bliss. And she's there as well. Well, she'll get the pop and then disappear for three months and then we'll return again and get another pop. Which is the best way to book.

Alexa Bliss, definitely. Although the Whites are now back on SmackDown. Could they interfere somehow? I think that it's an Alexa Bliss promo backstage and on the little TV screen, you get a little White 6 glitch.

which they have done at previous shows, I know, but then circumstances meant that we could not continue that storyline. So I think we just pick up that thread again. But Alexa Bliss would be my outside pick to win this one. Of the six in there, I think she is... the number six in terms of who i who i think might win so when you say outside pick yeah that to me insinuates you've got maybe one or two favorites how about my

Outside pick. Not the person you think has the least chance of winning. I think she has got as much chance of winning this match as Andrade does. And he's not even in the women's match. Do you not think my... three count idea where bliss goes to the top goes to unhook the briefcase but it opens and lily's in there i think it's one of the worst ideas presented uh but my vince would have done it well yeah i think that's why we're not doing it

And he liked Money in the Bank as a stipulation from what I came to gather. Did he? I'm going with Julia to win here. I think it is between Julia and Vakair and I'm going with Julia. I think it's not Roxanne Perez. She's doing the judgment day. Yeah, she's now in the judgment day. She's gone in that direction. I don't see how her having the briefcase benefits that.

Like she's not going to cash in on Liv's tag team titles. No, the only thing it does is it does further the storyline that Finn is right. If Finn helps Roxanne win. Yeah. Which would be weird. Well, it wouldn't be that weird. It's not James Ellsworth. But it's not that weird in the sense of she is part of their faction or sort of part of their faction, but not quite part of their faction just yet. But you don't often get the men interfering in a women's match unless it's Dom.

Or James Ellsworth. James Ellsworth. So I think Roxanne's unlikely. Julia, I don't see why Julia, you know, she's very good. Of the three NXT women, I would pick Stephanie the Kerr because... She had a big presentation on Raw. Huge presentation on Raw. It felt like, you know, when Penta meant a big deal, that's how they debuted Penta. Yeah.

But again, I think this feels like a rushed thing. I don't know if she's going to win it. She's been on the main roster for a week. Am I going to be basic and pick Rhea Ripley? And Rhea Ripley is going to do the honourable, I will cash in on you, EO. In advance. In advance. When they have the Australia show later on this year. Or Saudi Arabia. Yeah.

for, you know, reasons. Yeah. Or SummerSlam. I've talked myself into it. I think everyone else, while this is the more unpredictable match, I just feel like Rhea Ripley's got the most chance of winning. The only thing that pushes me more into the direction of Vacker over Julia is I've got a heel winning the men's money in the bank. So do you want two heels winning it? Or is it better to have a heel and a baby?

win it but i just think with julia you can tell the the she can then cash in on tiffany tiffany cashed in to win her title so it's turnabouts fair play and all of that uh and it would really establish her up on this main roster i mean it would do for vaquer as well but i don't

she needs that extra little boost currently. But, you know, Rhea Ripley, she needs... How are we putting over Rhea Ripley? It's always the question. I love because everyone was like, Rhea shouldn't be in the match. Not everyone. There was a sort of vocal minority.

Like Rhea shouldn't be in the match. She's taken a spot away from other wrestlers. Like putting John Cena in the money in the bank. What are you talking about? There's six spots. Rhea being in the match helps elevate everyone else. I feel like all those three NXT women.

better because Rhea Ripley's in there with them. Also, she's one of your biggest stars. Yeah. But then to have her win it would really annoy all those people. Rhea would annoy everyone. And you finally get to do Mammy in the Bank. Finally. Sorry, because you said you can finally do it. Finally. We've all been clamouring. There is a basic pun there.

Let's go through the other matches on the card. You kind of already alluded to your pick for this one, but it is Becky Lynch taking on Lyra Valkyria for the Women's Intercontinental Championship. If Becky loses, she can no longer challenge for the IC title. But if Lyra loses, then... and Becky has to raise her hand, the hand that will keep her down. I really like this feud. They've really won me over since the Backlash match. I think Lyra's a bit, alongside Becky, she's a bit...

Awkward on the mic. You know, people give her the treatment and everything when it should be the treatment, but they're not playing along. But yeah, I think Becky's done really well. I really like Lyra as an in-ring wrestler. I think this is going to be a very good match. But because Becky lost the first one, I think that was done to make it mean more when she beats Lyra.

And she'll get the championship. She gets to hold people down. Otherwise, if Becky loses this, I don't really get where her character goes. But if Becky wins, I totally see where Lyra goes and where Lynch goes. Could be a Bayley return. and costs Becky the Mac and you spin off into a Bailey-Becky feud. Oh, you've changed your tune. Or, or the more likely scenario, as we all know, is that Bailey returns...

turns heel on Lyra Valkyria and joins the Vets with Becky Lynch. And they're going to hold this division down by holding the mid-card title. I'm going with Becky. This morning I was fully on Becky winning, but there's this little part of me that's like, there could be a Lyra retention. In what world?

In the world that I was thinking of this morning, where Bailey returns and helps her win. How could you watch Monday Night Raw and think anything other than Becky wins? Because she's looking to put people over. She did that. She did that last month. Did you do it again? No. I would really dispel the Becky Hogan stuff. I did it twice. Hogan never did that for Billy Kidman. I'll go with Lyra.

I'm going to go for a Lyra retention. Damn, I think you're just doing that to create some competition between us, and I respect that. You're welcome. I'm sitting next to me in the back of a Bell 212 helicopter about to give your team the go on a jungle training exercise. What's your gut saying? Not for you? Turn the volume down.

Or stay here and see how far you could go with leadership training unlike anywhere else. Go, go, go! Still listening? You belong here. Army, recruiting now. Search Army jobs. We also have a tag team match because when you think to John Cena's final year as an in-ring performer, what better way to use those rapidly counting down dates that he showed on the screen than a tag match with Logan Paul.

hall oh yeah as he take as they take on cody roads and jay uso i'm being glib but genuinely and legit i think this is a waste of a scener appearance oh yeah like we have not got a lot of them left This is a waste of a Cena appearance. I feel like R-Truth and John Cena, Saturday night's main event, that's the perfect example of a good use.

of a minor thing in the grand scheme of things agreed but then i also don't i think triple h has confused really good main events for tv for legit pay-per-view matches and he's got this way of booking which is very elongated and one way he does that is by stretching out the feuds by putting on tags or trios that's totally fine that's what a lot of bookers do but then he puts those on the pay-per-views but you're like but that's the match that should

sell me on buying the pay-per-view for the singles match. I just feel like it's needlessly elongating these stories, and yet it's a waste of a John Cena pay-per-view appearance. Although, in terms of predictions, I think Cena wins. Dick Kickbelt shot to Jey Uso and pins him. And that means that Jey is going into the Gunther match two days later.

having been tsunamied, toonamied as you put it, tsunamied, and then with this, the beatdown by Cena and Logan Paul, and he then has to fight against the odds, and he retains over Gunther. until the winner of the Men's Money in the Bank cashes in on him afterwards. More on that. I wonder who you've picked. So what does Cody Rhodes do in all that?

Well, Kelly Rhodes then faces Cena at SummerSlam. What does he do in that match? Well, he does his bots. He'll make a Stardust reference. He'll... uh he'll do the drop down uh uppercut yeah and then uh he gets taken out by logan paul uh with a through a table through a table and then maybe even seth comes down and beats up and then yeah we do Cody and Cena at SummerSlam where Cena wins again

does Cody use the belt at any point and I'm just like no I can't do it still or he just looks at it but then at the SummerSlam match that's when you overtly do the I can't quite do this yet unless of course Cody just wins at SummerSlam and we turn Cena babyface I'm really glad that Cody's back. And there's nothing else he can do. He has to go right back into a Cena feud. But I just don't see... It's too early to take the belt off Cena, in my opinion.

So Cody can't win. But then it's also too early for Cody to lose. But he's not going to lose. Jay Usa's getting pinned. Hmm. Do you see my genius here? Yeah. Do you feel me, sir? Whoa, whoa, whoa. Yeah, you think you're genius. There is a next level thing here. DQ finish.

Son of a bitch, he's done it. No, because, like, Punk will be there, Roman will be there. Why are they getting involved? I don't know. That's why I stopped myself saying Seth's getting involved. He's got nothing to do with this. It'll be so exciting. People will not... notice that they've had a lame DQ finish again. I think Cena wins. I think Cena and Logan Paul win. The Rock. Travis Scott. Where is this? Is this in LA?

So it is not a big trip for Dwayne to make to get to this show. Hollywood rock. Yeah. Okay, what's your percentage of rock showing up at Money in the Bank? What is your gut telling you percentage-wise? Zero. Really? Yeah, I don't think he's showing up. I'd have said 20. I'm saying it's a 20%. I'm not saying it's a definite zero. I'm disappointed that this is a match on a pay-per-view. I think this should be a...

This is a Saturday night's main event match to build to a singles match at the pay-per-view. I guess Cena can't wrestle. That's the other thing. Like, you know, obviously Cena can't wrestle. We've been saying that for a decade. I think he cannot go in the ring because of age and injuries. So they're probably protecting him. And they are very much limiting the amount he does.

So here's a tag match. Here's an R-Truth three-minute match. Or is it just a case of he's in there with the big celebrity, the big YouTube guy, that's going to put more eyeballs on the product because you've now got the Hollywood A-lister in it. Encina. Do you call him an A-lister? A big name in Hollywood.

Big name on YouTube taking on the WWE guys of Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. It kind of elevates them up to the same level of status as Cena and Logan Paul. I'm not saying that from my point of view, but from the point of view of TKO, who are looking at things through... I'm going to go a different direction. I think Jay gets the crap beaten out of him. He's tired. But Logan Paul takes the pin from Cody Rhodes.

And Cena is backing off up the ramp as Cody makes the pin on Logan. No honor amongst thieves. And that is what builds Cody's rematch against Cena. Not a bad shout. Because I don't think you're going to have Cody lose even if he's not taking the pinfall. And it makes Jay somewhat strong going into the Gunther match, but... with accumulative damage see my j booking is one of the it's the classic wwe thing of like well it doesn't matter he got pinned here because he's gonna

retain the world title two nights later. And that is what people will remember. They will not remember that he got pinned two days earlier. I'm going for a Cody J win. You're going for a heel win. I'm going to see Nepal. Okay. Yeah. Okay. We are going... We've not got a single thing the same. Or maybe that's...

That'll change because we're getting to the men's Money in the Bank now as Solo Sokoa, LA Knight, Penta, Andrade El Grande Americano and Gio Wonder Who might win. Seth Rollins are going into the men's Money in the Bank ladder match. Again, I'm trying not to be glib here, but it does feel like one may...

events are in five mid-carders. Yeah, and El Grande Americano is that legend who... Wait, are you saying Seth Rollins? I would say... El Grande Americano... Do you remember my three count booking? Yes, I remember you. Oh, it's okay. I have heard a pitch. Let me say mine first, just to remind the viewers or listeners. El Grande Americano wins the briefcase.

And then there is a long protracted comedy storyline about whether Chad Gable can have that briefcase because he'll have to reveal himself as El Grande Americano, if he indeed is. So you're pushing for an El Grande Americano.

money in the bank win i haven't decided so here's the pitch that i heard on the the fightful post show which is that chad gable loses to vikingo at world's collide El Grande Americano wins Money in the Bank, and then on the Raw, after Money in the Bank, El Gijo del Viquingo has an appearance on there, and El Grande Americano cashes in on him to win the AAA Mega Championship.

So Chad wins a singles title in WWE, but not as Chad Gable. And not a WWE title. Because the gimmick is that Chad can't beat Luchadors, but El Grande can. So this is another way of you doing that story, the next chapter of that story. I like that. AAA apparently doesn't like this stipulation, so what's the worst that can happen with you cashing in to win the AAA Mega Championship? I think whatever... route we go, it's going to be cashed in two days later on Monday Night Raw.

yeah and i'm going with my original i'll also find seth rollins i'm going with seth runs to win this and i think he ends that raw show on june 9th as the world heavyweight champion yeah so after maybe jay has just

retained against Gunther after a hellacious, stiff, superkick-filled battle. I can even see Gunther trying to fight off Seth to sort of like, you know, is that sort of battle? Oh, I love that. You know, that sort of battle of like, this is not the honourable way to win this title. And then you can spin that off. into a Seth and Gunther feud for the title. That is a fantastic idea. Thanks, man.

Thank God, it just came to me then. Yeah, yeah. All my original pitch was, you do the heist of the century, he cast in and makes it a triple threat. I don't like that as much because Seth's meant to be this really smart guy. That's not the smart way to play this briefcase. Yeah, okay, I'm going to go Seth as well. I mean, the El Grande Americano thing was just a gag. Surprised me when he qualified, though, on the go-home Raw. That was the least surprising thing about that match.

what of course i had el grande americano in my three count picks i was like surely he's gonna be in the money in the bank ladder but what but cm punk was right there and has no presence on the pay-per-view now no because he's in a feud with seth so you're gonna like do that later on down the line okay

So yeah, I'm going with Seth to win this one. I just can't see it being any of the other lads. It's not going to be Andrade. It's not going to be LA Knight. It's not going to be Penta. It's not going to be Solo. And I don't think it's going to be El Grande Americano, so it has to be Seth. If anyone else wins this, I will genuinely be very, very surprised. And I hope that when we review this show on Sunday, I can sit here in this chair and be like...

Totally surprised that Andrade is Mr. Money No Bank and he's going to be going for the World Heavyweight Championship. Very surprised. I'd love to sit here and say that. And I will very happily eat crow and eat hats and whatnot. But I do think it is sad. When we were doing our three count predictions a couple of weeks out from the pay-per-view, I think both of us had totally different lineups.

compared to what's actually happened. Like, I had Drew McIntyre. I had Drew McIntyre. I had Priest in mind. I had Bronson Reedham or Brom Breaker in mind. I had Jacob Fatu.

I had like the most interesting version of WWE's mid card and some of the upper card in my lineup. And like you said, they've instead gone for quite the conservative... non-winner route i had penta in mine and el grande americano um i had seth in a tag match i think yes i had solo in mine but that's because he'd already qualified and i had el grande americano Penta and Seth in there, but I didn't have LA Knight.

because i think i was like he'll skip this year and he won't be in it i certainly didn't have andrade because i was like well surely that's that's for alistair black like when and then when he was in that three i was like well that's gonna be alistair black winning that one yeah there you go that's our predictions uh for money the bank 2025

know in the comments down below what do you think is going to happen at this show do you think that uh when do you think the cash is going to happen because the other one i pitched was that seth goes to cash on that june 9th episode and then roman reigns returns and stops him that's awesome doing that so many great ideas from you over the men's briefcase thank you well we'll certainly see you it'll be on dry day

let us know what you think and join WrestleLeague as well and compete against us in Predictions Warfare we will be back this coming Friday with the WrestleTalk podcast and then and there'll be a bonus one over on patreon.com forward slash WrestleTalk as well and on Sunday we'll be

here live in studio reviewing money in the bank 2025 and see what's going to happen with this briefcase moving forward i wish we had the little graphics like they do you know the two little men when they go little heist guys Until then, click the videos that are on screen right now and check out more stuff that we've done. And Patreon. And Patreon. Jam that jam.
