My very best friends, let me introduce to you, Woe in the World's Mindy Thomas, and who is... I can't wait to tell my colleagues back at butt headquarters about this. I'm sorry. Did you say butt headquarters? I did. You know, maybe we should introduce ourselves. Oh, good idea. Hi, everybody. I am Carly Q. from the super secret Who When Wow podcast. Wow. So cool. So when I am not traveling through time solving mysteries,

I am a basement-level employee at the Bureau of Universal Time Travel Historical Exploration Division, also known as... Budhead! I get it. It's an acronym. Wait, I didn't... know you worked at the bureau do you know lewis you know what i do but you know him yeah he's busy today i do know him yeah i've met him before great guy anywho allow me to introduce myself from the not so secret wow in the world podcast I am Mindy Thomas, and I don't have a job. And I'm Dennis from the WeWild Podcast.

Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. Actually, I didn't mean to stop. You can keep going. You can keep going. Thank you. Yes, yes. Thank you. Dennis, Dennis, Dennis. What? We're not done with the introductions. Oh, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. Making it well through music today. Jason Rabinowitz, give it up for the pop-ups! Wow, so cool, so cool. Well, now that you know all of our names, we should probably learn all of your names. Oh, good idea.

a seat we'll start with you and then you and you and then we'll go through all the rows until we get to you mindy that is gonna take forever no no no we don't we don't have time for that but maybe everybody could just say their name on the count of three all together okay here we go One, two, three. Yeah. Oh, those are great names. Can you believe we've got two Logans in the house? Two people named Logan in New York City.

City. Wild. What are the odds? What are the odds? What are the odds? Okay, well, now that we all know each other, we can officially welcome you to Make It! Mindy, can you believe we invented a game show? We did invent a game show, Carly Q. I can't believe it. But Make It Wow is more than just a game show. It's a celebration. of innovation. Right. It's a chance for you to use your imagination. Uh, hold on, hold on, hold on. I'm going to need some clarification. Oh, all right. What's innovation?

Great question, Dennis. You see, innovation is when you come up with new ideas to solve problems or just to make things better. Yeah, it's when you use your imagination to come up with an idea that's amazing and original, something that did not exist. Oh, and you know what? I've got some great examples of innovation in my inventor's toolkit here. Let me just see what I got here. Sorry, there's so many cats in here. Get down, cats! All right, can anyone...

tell me what this innovation is? Some people would call it the greatest thing since sliced bread. That's bread. That's bread. Bread? Yeah. No, this is raw toast. Everybody knows that. Okay. Maybe this one will ring a bell. This is a great invention. You need it a lot in the winter here in Unork. Can anyone tell me what this invention is? It's a glove. It's a glove. It's a glove. Yeah. Glove. Glove. Glove. Glove? I've never heard that word before. No, clearly these are finger pants. Mindy?

One more here. Let's see here. Oh, I bet you all know what this is. Actually, maybe you've never seen one of these before, but it's round. It's got a hole in the middle. They know. It's from the 90s. That's a CD. A C- what? It's a CD. No, this is a sound bagel. New York is famous for them. innovation is all around us. And it's powered by the imagination in all of us.

And today we are going to use the power of imagination to come up with some serious innovation right here on this stage. So the question is, are you ready to make it work? Here's how the game works. Today we've got two teams who will go head to head in a series of think, challenges, our teams are going to be inventing a product that solves a real or really ridiculous problem. Wow. Now, it's important that these products or inventions are original, useful, and

a little bit bonker balls. Whichever team wows the judges and all of you the most wins the game and takes home the coveted Golden Reggie Trophy. Okay, everyone, stop looking. Okay, so are we ready to meet our two teams? Introducing our first team. Put your hands together for Deacon, Teo, and Jasper, the who-win-wow time-traveling tinkers!

time-traveling tinkerers. Since I am obsessed with both time and time travel, I'm going to ask you some questions related to those things, okay? So Jasper, question for you, if you could be any time of day. What time of day would you be? Probably 11.30, because that's when I get to eat lunch at school. Oh, that's a very early time to eat lunch, I think. We finish at 12, but then we get to have break. And the food is always super good.

Okay, 11.30, lunchtime. We love it. Thank you, Jasper. Okay, Tao, here's my question for you. If you were to step inside a time-traveling elevator, and if you were to go anywhere to the past... Present or future, where would you go? I would go to 2013 and buy Bitcoin. Okay, will you get enough for all of us? Yeah. That's really generous. Thank you, Tao. Okay, I'm coming around to you, Deacon. Very savvy. Love that. Deacon, if your team wins this competition today...

And if you could then travel anywhere in the world, in the universe, where would you travel? Probably the nearest quasars, which is like the nearest galaxy to look for life. Okay! And make some friends. And what is it, the nearest quasars? Quasars.

Okay. I forget what it stands for, but it means nearest galaxy. It's a universe, and we'll see if there's life out there. Hopefully. Okay, great. You can come and hang out at Butthead Quarters anytime. I feel like we could work well together. Okay, give it up for the time-traveling tinkerer! introducing our second team. Give it up for Niko, Isabella, and Dina the Wild.

an invention that you use every day that you just couldn't live without? Probably like paper. So you can what? So I can draw. So you can draw. Are you a big drawer? You can draw on your contestants. We can do some drawing in our innovation. And Nico, I have to ask you, what is something that wows you? you know something a wow invention that you use um that you use today that you couldn't get here without a car a car

And if you could invent something to make a car even more wow, what would you invent? All right. Well, you know what? We'll have to find out later today. Maybe you'll invent something for a car. What is something that makes it, what do you bring to this wow table here for inventing?

A special talent maybe. I like to draw a lot. You like to draw a lot too? Yeah. All right. Well, I can't wait to see what you invent. Let's give it up one more time for the wow in the world, Bunker Baller. So cool. Okay, so now the... we have both of our teams it is time to reveal the theme for today's show ah yes so the theme or subject for today's show will help guide our inventors on their innovation and with today's theme

Take it away, Dennis. Thank you, Carly. I have in my hand the theme for today's show. Let's do this. And the theme is... Slamina! it backwards. Try flipping it around. Yeah. Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. Okay, okay. Undo that, undo that, undo that. Okay, okay. I have the real theme for today's show, and it is...

We are going to invent something for animals to help solve a problem that animals have to make their lives better. Okay, okay. For animals. An animal problem. Okay, hold on a minute. I'm going to make a phone call real quick. Wait, what? Dennis, what's he doing? Where'd you get the landline? Yeah, Reggie? Yeah, it's Dennis. Listen, you're an animal, right? Right, okay, so, like, like, what's your...

problem, man. Rob Jay! What'd he say, Dennis? Well, he said I'm a problem and to quit calling him and then he hung up. Okay. Well, now that that is all taken care of, I think it's time to get this game show started with round one, the thinking round. Ah, yes. In this round, I will be giving you... all inventions. So Carly Q will be giving you inventions and it's up to you and you to decide whether these inventions are real wow inventions or just big phony what?

And if you get the answer right, you get to pick a building material for use in your inventions later from this. The mystery! the mystery bag? Baby Dennis, are you in there? No, I'm not in here. Okay. We'll see. All the inventions that we're talking about today are that they... All of these inventions that you're about to hear about, whether they're real or fake, will have to do with solving a problem for an animal. So it might give you some ideas for what you could make later. Yeah. All right.

Are we ready? We're ready. Round one. Round one. Here's the very first invention. And this question is for you all. The invention is the poo trap. All right. That's all I'm going to say. It's an invention called the poo trap. So time-traveling tinkerers, is this a real invention? Or is it a big phony what? Also, what do you think?

Think about it. Okay. Thumbs up, thumbs down. Yeah, thumbs up, thumbs down. Is it real or fake? Okay, I'm seeing a lot. Oh, I'm seeing mixed bag over here. Seeing some thumbs up, some thumbs down. The poo trap. Is it a real wow?

invention i'm seeing i'm seeing a lot of thumbs up all right what do we come up with it's real it's a real is it a real wow pop-ups are they correct for an animal so as you can see it is a clever harness that fits on a dog right where you know what comes out of you know where and uh the tagline for this invention is no poops no oops

You know what? Grandma G-Force wears one of those. Yeah, she does. I believe it. I believe it. All right, since you got the answer right, you can pick from the... Mystery Bag! Mystery Bag! I don't know what's in there. Go for it. Go for it. Go for it. Go for it. No peeking. Just get it. Just get it. Just get it. He's climbing in.

It's a lampshade. It's a hat. Popcorn container. It can be a cone of shame for a pet. Oh, there we go. That looks great. All right. Very good. Round two. Bonker Ballers, this one's for you. The invention is the goldfish shower cap to keep your goldfish's head dry in the aquarium. Is it a real wow invention or... A big phony what? All right. The goldfish shower cap. Real or not real? Okay. I'm seeing a lot of thumbs down.

from the audience. Okay, I think we're ready. Isabella? Nico's like, absolutely not. No. It's not real? anyone hasn't invented something to keep fish dry in the water they're so soggy in there truly they all they just get all wet somebody's gotta make it so wet all right you know what this means

Go for it. Go for it. It's such a mystery. It's a mystery. What are they going to get? I want to know what's in the mystery bag. We don't know. Can you get something out of there? Can you get it? Just take it. Just take it. First thing you got. Nico is in the bag. Get it. Get it. What is it? What is it? It's a thing. Okay, you can use this in your invention later. It could be anything. It could be anything.

Okay, invention number three. This is for you all. The cat karaoke machine. Turning meows into melodies. Is it a real wow? and thumbs up do you think it's real or is it the cat karaoke machine what do you guys think we've never had people chanting Okay. All right. Let's see what the... So, wait. What are you going with? It's real. Pop-ups, are they correct?

Essentially the cat karaoke machine is not real, again, yet. So if a cat wants to do karaoke, they gotta show up with a karaoke machine just like the rest of us. They got to search for the words on Google like the rest of us. Exactly. All right, so moving on. Question number four. Bonker ballers, this one's for you. The bumper buddy. A bumper, like a bumper you might find on a car. only it's for blind pets is it a real wow invention or a big phony

I see thumbs up all the way in the back. I see a lot of thumbs up. A lot of people saying it's real. What do you think? It's real. viral video featuring Buddy, a blind dog, wearing a gadget to keep him from bumping into walls. Buddy's owners invented... the bumper buddy to help buddy to get around without having obstacles in his way how cute is buddy so cute oh he's so cute he could be running around underneath your chairs and you'd never know it

Okay. Get something good. Get something good. What is this? What did you get? A truck. A truck. You can use this. innovation later you could take it apart even oh yeah that's okay okay uh this is the last one for you time traveling tinkerers your next invention is the frog log That's all I'm going to say. No more clues. The frog log. Is it a real wow invention or a big phony what? I mean, it does rhyme.

So there's that. It rhymes. That's nice. Yeah. Think for yourselves. Okay. We see a lot of thumbs up. I'm seeing a lot of thumbs up. We got some thumbs down. Okay. They seem comfortable. We think it's real. You think it's real? Pop-ups? Are they correct? All right. So check it out. Real invention. This is the frog.

log and it helps animals who get stuck in pools by giving them this nice yeah it is oh it's a nice inflatable lily pad that they can hop on and then they can just go up that ramp to safety so that's what we mean when we say solving a problem for an animal. So cool. So cool. And now you get to pick from the mystery bag. Mystery bag. Who wants to go? Mystery bag. Get in there. Get in there. What's it gonna be? Okay, what is it? What is it? Oh, we have a pool noodle.

Pool Nudo, actually. Pool Nudo. Okay. All right. Bonker Ballers, your last invention. The dog vending machine. Is it a real wow invention or... A BIG PHONY WHAT?! The dog v- Oh, I should know! It's not a vending machine that dispenses actual dogs. It's like a dog's food- vending machine okay what do we think it's real you think it's

vending machine is a real wow invention. It was invented back in Istanbul, Turkey. This city is known for having a ton of stray dogs and cats who have nowhere to live. have easy access to food. And so this group of engineers invented the smart recycling box. It's a vending machine where you take your recyclable bottles and cans, you drop them

the top like a coin and then dog food and water is dispensed out the bottom. They're helping our homeless pets and saving the planet at the same time. Such a good invention. Two problems in one. All right, you know what this means. Bunker ballers! Mystery bag! Mystery bag! Mystery bag! Get it, get it, get it. Oh, she's really...

What'd you get? Like a duster. A duster. This looks like a four it up for both teams who did so well in this challenge and let's quickly recap the materials they got out of the mystery bag so um right here we have a Is there anything else you think this could be? A life raft, perhaps? Yes, for a small creature. Yeah, love that. And what about, what do we have here? A lampshade. A lampshade, or? A hat.

A hat. Okay. Or infinite other things. We'll have to see what they come up with. All right. And over here. Bonker Ballers, let's see what we got here. We got a... What else could this be? It could be... You know, for an invention, you could take it apart, use it... What? A bin? There we go, a bin for something. All right, and we've got... Isabella? Like, it's something to pick up food. Okay, like a little pincher?

Of sorts. You could pinch. Not each other. Not each other. And Nico, tell us what you've got there. A duster. A duster. An old bird. Maybe a peacock. I don't know. All right. All right. Well, that was. a really good check-in. And Mindy, do you know what I love about check-ins? What do you love about check-ins? Well, I'll tell you later because that sound means it is the end of round one.

We'll let the pop-ups entertain you with a little music right now. And when we come back, it is time to tinker with round two. Pop-ups. Take it away. Take it away. All right, New York. All right, teams. These teams need... I need you! So, I want everyone in this room to say the words, hey, teams, like this. Say what? Say, hey, teams, like this. Say, hey, teams! Now, you guys, really loud when it comes up. Come on.

And you guys too. Let's hear you all do it. Keep it up. Hey, team. Guys, this is crazy, right? You have something to build in a single night? Yeah. There's a lot to do, and there's a whole crowd of people that are looking at you. And hey, you out there. They're going to need your help. Don't just sit in your chair. And hey, don't despair because the fun begins when you tinker and share. Guys, are you on stage and all of you going on your tinker rampage?

It's time to begin round two. It's time to tinker. Now, in this last round, you got some building materials, right? And... it's important that we have some more building materials. I mean, you can't possibly invent something with just what you've got there. Yes.

That's right. We do need some materials before you get to these inventions, which, as you will remember, you are inventing something for an animal that solves a problem it has or makes its life easier. Mindy, where are the materials? Oh, you mean like the stuff? Yeah, the stuff. Oh. Let's bring out the bum...

is a big, but they are also filled with hidden building materials to help our inventors with their inventions. That's right. That's so cool. What is it? What's in there? No, no. I want to see. I want to see. No, no, no, no, no. What's this? I want that. Oh, no, I want this one. What's this? Dennis! What? Out of the bunker ball pits. You're giving it all away. Get back to your station. Get back to your stand. Get back to Dennis. Oh, Dennis. So...

Our contestants will have 45 seconds to hunt through these bunker ball pits to get their materials. And this is a relay. So, Nico and... Jasper? Jasper, go ahead and get in. the bonker ball pits. You're both going to be in the pits. Step right into it. Alright, get in the pits. And Isabella and Tao, you are going to stand right behind them.

Because you're going to be searching for the bonker balls, for the building materials. Stand up, stand up, not yet. And you're going to be passing them to your teammates. Then I need Dia and Deacon to stand back here. You're going to pass them to Dia. Pass them to Deacon. Your job is to stack them up on your tables without letting them fall off, okay? Yes, because any materials that don't make it to the table by the time the countdown is done...

you won't be able to use. So if you're in the middle of running it back to the table or if it falls off of the table, by the time the time runs out, you don't get those materials. So make sure everything makes it to the table. You got it? Okay, any questions? Questions?

Any questions? Any questions at all? Oh, wait, I have a question. Yes? Dennis? This is too easy. Oh, okay. Well, first of all, that is not a question. But second of all, I'm so glad you think so. Because we're about to get to the hard part. That's right. So our contestants who are in the Bonker Balls pits will be hunting for materials wearing these fashionable lobster claws. That's right. So there you go.

Our second contestants are going to be doing it wearing these beautiful kitty paws. So go ahead and put these kitty paws on. Here you go, Tao. And our third... contestant standing in the back row you are going to be searching for building materials wearing horse hooves so go ahead put your horse hooves on there you go you got your kitty paws okay

We're going to get 45 seconds on the clock here. Is everyone ready? Oh, we need one more horse hoof. Very important. Can you say, nay? Nay. What? Nay. Oh, into my microphone. Nay. Nay. Okay, there we go. All right, a meow? Meow. And what sound? Old McDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O, and on his farm he had a lobster. E-I-E-I-O with a...

Oh, that's right. Lobsters don't make sounds, do they? Anyhow, all right. Let's do this. We got 45 seconds on the clock. All right. And you have to cheer them on, okay? Okay. All right. And tell them what to get. All the stuff. All the stuff. You're going to get whatever you can, pass it to your teammates, get it on the table. Ready? Make it! So we are going to, yeah, give him a round of applause. Yes. We are going to take a 10-minute intermission, and during that time,

Our teams are going to look through their materials and you also have building supplies behind you. And you're going to start thinking about and start. building your invention all right you'll be able to watch them on this camera up here but also this is a chance for you to stretch your legs go to the bathroom get an apron right and when we come back It's time to tinker. Your 15-minute tinker mission begins now. Make it wild, we'll be right back.

This message is for you. That's it. Back to the show. Yeah. All you Tinkerers, we hope you had an amazing Tinker mission. The chance to buy some merch, go to the bathroom, touch grass, make some weird sounds. But now you have to decide. Which team you want to win the Golden Reggie? Will it be the time-traveling tinklers who break animals' brains with wonder? Or the bonker ballers who invent the next big thing in animals? Only you can decide who gets two.

I made a strawberry basil pie because I love pie. It's pretty good, right? So we are in the middle of round two. It's time to tinker. You can eat it there. Let's check in with our teams who were busy starting their inventions during intermission. All right, let's see. We're going to check in with you over here, time-traveling tinkerers.

So don't tell us too much. Don't tell us what your invention is called because I know you're still working. But do you want to share, Deacon, I think you wanted to share a little bit about what animal this is solving a problem for?

Well ours is kind of it's supposed to be scaled up. This is kind of a small scale version of it. Okay, but it's meant for animals such as koalas and other like owls and birds that live in trees that are prone to wildfires in like um upper part of north america uh-huh so um Should I explain it? You can actually, that's enough. That's enough. Just a little teaser. We can tell that this is like a very thoughtful invention so far. And we look forward to hearing more about it.

in a little while. Jasper, I want to ask you, what's it been like? What's the collaboration been like? The working together part. Have there been any challenges or have things been really easy?

At the start it was a little slow but we really started to like click and get working together and we started like finding like oh you can work on this part and like oh can you help me with this and we started really working well together because like me and um tayo we don't really know each other but we started to work really well together As a team, and we got everything down. I love it. Look at the support you're getting. Let's hear it for teamwork. Yeah, teamwork.

The hardest part is the beginning when you're working with a blank slate, an empty sheet of paper. So sometimes it takes a minute to get going, but you're certainly off to the racers. Thank you, time-traveling tinkerers, for that update. Yeah! All right, let's check in with the wow in the world bonker ballers. You know what, Carly, you just mentioned sheets of paper. It looks like we've got a little design here.

Love it. So without giving anything away, tell us what problem you're solving for an animal. So if it's blind, it can move around easily. Yeah. and a person can pull it around. Okay. And I have to ask, have there been any challenges so far in your innovation? Any challenges? Yes, which is hurrying. What was that? We had to hurry because we didn't know what to do with all this stuff.

You could use any of it. You don't have to use all of it. Is there any building material that you really wish you had and you had to be inventive to come up with another way of creating it? Is there any building material you don't have that you wish you did? Motor? A motor. Is there a way you can make a motor out of this stuff? I mean, here's some cotton balls. Maybe make a motor out of that? Make a motor out of this?

I think there's no end to the possibilities of what you can do here. So great job. We'll check in with you later. Let's give it up one more time for the bunker. Teams, feel free to get back to work. You know, Mindy, I'm so glad that we got a chance to check in with them because you know what I love about a check-in? What do you love about a check-in? I...

What is he doing? Dennis, what? I just gotta get up. Dennis, come on. No, I don't want to get up there. That's too bad. What? What are you doing? I want us to help you. Just help me. Just gotta get up there. Just gotta get up there. Let me get him onto the stage. Just gotta get him onto the stage. Just gotta get him onto the stage. Sorry about this. Okay, sorry. Everything's gonna be fine.

We're good. Okay. Dennis, just get out. Get out. What is happening? What are you doing? Ow! Ow! You shocked me. Oh, I'm not going to go near him. Look, watch this. Dennis, ow! Stop, okay. Dennis, what are you doing? I'm Static Man. And I'm doing this! What? What is that, a wrench? It's a metaphor! And yes, it's also a wrench. I'm throwing a wrench. into your well-made plans. I don't get it. I'm changing the rules to the competition.

You can't do that! Yes, I can! Starting right now, each of these teens must incorporate into their invention... sound! Sound? But do we even have... that makes sound, Mindy? I don't know. Let me just check my adventure toolkit here. Yes, yes, yes. Check your adventures. Let's see here. I got some bicorns. Got some bicorns. That's good, that's good, that's good. I got some coconuts. Yes. Sound.

Okay, let me see. I got more things here. I got some partying. Oh, that's good. That's good. Okay, I got some rubber chickens. Oh, God. Got a few of these. Yeah. Is that it? Wonderful. Yeah, so we got plenty of things to make sound. Okay. Give these noisy things to the teams. Here you go. Make them pick one. There you go. And incorporate it into their inventory.

somehow, because you've been wrenched! Wrenched! Wrenched! You've been wrenched, and this is wrenched, and you're wrenching! No, no, no! Get out of here! And I'm going to wrench this and that and this and that. And this is all wrenched. Dennis? Dennis? Wrench. Get out! Okay, we're going to deal with him. Incorporate sound into your inventions. Pop-ups, why don't you play some music? We'll be back. Dennis! Reg, go! Let's do it. Okay, let's go. Okay, come on. Jason.

I don't have my drum set. Wait, what do you mean you don't have your drum set? Well, I was on the airplane and they promised me not to have a middle seat if I traded them a drum set, so I took the aisle seat. Oh boy, we're just going to have to improvise. I do not know what that means. Oh, look. Here, look. Look, there's a box of stuff. It's stuff. We can just use it as stuff. What do you mean? How are we supposed to use this stuff?

Well, I mean, Jake, if you don't have exactly what you need, you've got to make do with what you have. Right? Listen, I'll explain it in a song. If you don't have exactly what you need, almost right is good enough. Make inventions, do experiments, find new ways to use your stuff. First of all, I need a snare. Ha! You can use this old washboard. Oh, that's cool. But a hi-hat? Um, oh look! I've got this little bell.

Oh, that's really cool. Yeah. But what about drumsticks? Oh, here. You can use these wooden spoons. Oh, that seems to work. Yeah. Oh, but what about my kazoo? Ah, look, a toilet paper roll. It works. OK, how about a kick drum? Hey, look, I got a garbage can. Oh, that's really cool. Try it. What about a tambourine? Oh, look.

Use this set of keys. Oh, I was looking for those. Yeah. I need a symbol, man. What am I going to do? But look, how about using this garbage lid? That's amazing. But Jason, how am I supposed to play all this stuff? Oh, man. You got to use your knees. Come on, New York, clap your hands. You don't have exactly what you need. Almost right, it's good enough. That's right. Make inventions, do experiments, find new ways to use your stuff. Okay, oh, come on.

New York, we need your voices. We told them New York was loud. Yeah. I thought it was Saturday night here. I like this hand clap. We'll put the words up. New York got rhythm. You guys, you gotta help us out. Say it. exactly what you need almost right is good can't hear you make inventions do experiments find new ways to use your stuff if you don't have exactly what you need Make inventions, do experiments, buy new haste. Come on New York, you got this! If you don't have exactly what you need.

Okay, pop-ups! Yes! I love stuff. I got a lot of stuff. I'll take it. Oh my goodness. Wait a minute. Wait, where's Mindy? Have you seen Mindy? I mean, the last I saw Mindy, she was chasing Dennis off the stage. Oh yeah, they were going like into the parking lot and then it looked like they were headed into space. Wait, space? Do you think that Mindy and Dennis have been abducted by aliens?

Because I can solve this mystery right now. Um, no, no, no. We don't have time for that. We definitely don't have time for that. No time? No time? Okay, that's fine. Well, just the thing is we only have like a few more minutes for them to finish their inventions. And you're telling me that my co-host and our announcer are missing.

Because that sounds like a mistake. That's not how this show was supposed to go. We had a tight show with a plan, and now things are going wrong. I'm not prepared for that, okay? Carly, Carly, don't spiral. Some of the best things that were ever invented were total accidents. What? Yeah, they were. And while we're waiting for these teams to complete their inventions, what if we took a journey through going back in time to find the most glorious failure inventions? Wait, wait, wait, wait.

Okay, you had me at travel through time. Cool. Do you all want to take a trip in my time-traveling elevator? Yes! I don't see it anywhere. There's nothing... I brought the Bureau's invisible time-traveling elevator, okay? It's going to be fine. All right. In order to do this, everybody has to stand up, all right? So go ahead and stand up.

All right? Okay. And once everyone's up, we've all agreed to this mission, we're just going to go ahead and let those elevator doors open. That's a real elevator. Okay. And now we'll... step inside one foot at a time so take one foot bring it up and put it in well done take your other foot bring it up way up and bring it in we are inside the elevator oh before we go teams

We're going to go travel through time for like five minutes. When we come back, you basically have to be finished, okay? Great. So find a way to use sound. All right. They're going to be fine. Wonderful. So we'll let those elevator doors close. to whoever you came here with because it's gonna get bumpy. What? Here we go! You can sit down. Welcome to... 1943. Ooh, smell that 1943 air. Is that diesel? Mm-hmm, yeah, it is. So here we are.

In 1943, a scientist named James Wright is inside his laboratory attempting to make rubber. He makes a lot of mistakes. He does not make rubber. And instead, he makes a sticky, goopy concoction that I think all of you have played with before. Can you guess what it is? Jacob is helping. It's not gum. It's not gum. It's not slime. It's Silly Putty. It's Silly Putty. Invented by mistake. Pretty cool. You want to do another? Yeah, let's do another. Okay, let's travel to... Oh.

1968. Smell the 1968 air. Smells like my uncle. Uncle Mark. Okay. So here in 1968, a scientist is in their laboratory trying to make a very strong glue. They make some mistakes and instead they make a very weak glue. And at first they think all is lost. It's ruined until they realize that they can take that weak glue and put it on the back of tiny papers and put those papers anywhere and pull them off.

Without making a mark. What is it? You'll never guess. They invented... Post-it notes. Invented by mistake. Should we do another? Yes, Liz. Okay. Let's travel to... 1905. Here we meet Frank Eberson. He's 11 years old. Okay. He's a kid. And one day he takes a cup of soda. with a stirring stick and leaves it outside overnight in the middle of winter. The next morning he wakes up and it's frozen. He invented Popsicle. Invented by mistake. Everybody say wow.

Wow! How about that? So many things invented by mistake. And now I was wondering if we could just check in about that all together. Okay. So what I love about a check-in is... Attention! Don't worry about it. It means that we have to get back to 2024 like now. So let's stand up again. We're going to get back in the elevator. Okay. And you know what to do. That's right. Take one foot, bring it up.

And step in. Take the other foot, bring it up. Step in. Let those elevator doors close. Hold on to whoever you came here with. And here we... Sit down. We made it back to 2024. Smell that 2024 air. Smells like strawberry basil pie. Delicious. It's a really good pie. Recommended. All right. We've made it back, which means...

Teams, are you finished your inventions? I hope so. You're writing it down? Okay. You have 10 seconds before you're going to need to step away from your tables. We're going to count down with you, right? All right. Let's get 10 seconds on the clock. Here we go. 10 seconds. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5. Take a step back. Perfect. Just like this. Step back away from your inventions. All right. So they've done it.

We made it through the thinking round. We made it through the tinkering round. And it is time for the third round. This round is called Tell Them All About It. If anybody tells anybody anything, it is time to introduce our celebrity judges. He is a wise-cracking, knuckle-clacking man about town, and she... is a spicy pepper-eating spitfire who lives in a house made of diapers. They are your friends and mine, Wow and the World's Own, Thomas Fingerling, and Grandma...

I'm so glad you were available. What? To be the judges today. Are you ready? Hello there, Curly Q. We're ready for the stage. Yes. My big day. Taylor dancer. A lot of people don't know that. I still am. Do either one of you have a favorite invention that you want to share? Well... I would say my favorite invention is the ghost pepper. That's right. I wrestled one back in 1943. How old are you? And I showed that pepper who was boss. I'll tell you that much. Believe that you did.

Thomas Fingerling, favorite invention? Oh, I'm with her. That was amazing. I'm his favorite invention. Oh, that's nice. All right. That's not what I said. You can have a seat right over there at the shiny table, the disco table. No, there's no flies in here. No, yes, you go this way. They're always flying around fingerling there. Get back there, fingerling. All right, now that everybody is in their spot, our judges are here and our teams are here.

It is time for us to hear a little bit more about each of these inventions, all right? Only one of these teams can win today. Only one of these teams can take home the Golden Reggie Trophy. Oh, that's real shiny. That's quality. I like that. I want it. And it's time to hear a little bit about each of these inventions. This is round three. Tell them all about it.

tinkers i'm going to start with you can you tell us the name of your invention tayo you want to do it okay the name of your invention and then a little bit about it Oh, you can give us both. There's an acronym. Great. So, actually, you want to give us the acronym first, then tell us what it stands for? Okay. The acronym is WFAS. Wildfire Animal Shelter. Beautiful wildfire animal shelter. Okay, yeah, Deacon's going to explain it. Beautiful teamwork. So how this contraption works is...

During a wildfire Animals are brought to these shelters before it spreads over these They're brought to these shelters that are found because it is very common for koalas and other Animals that live in trees to be caught by these wildfires So we bring them in here and this pump is constantly providing with not-toxicated air so they can breathe properly

There's a little hole, I don't know if you can see it back here, that we can provide them with food. And we sent this robot that is fire resistant to come feed them. And the way that they, how they know is its horn goes off. Every time it runs out of food. Incredible. So, okay, you found a way to use sound, which I love. Here, I'll take this back. And this is a protected shelter where there's special air being pumped in, non-toxic air. And there's a food hole here.

And anything else that you want to add, Jasper? So it's like what it'll really help with, like for the animals, it helps them. Like wildfires often damage ecosystems and homes and all that thing. So what WFAS can help with is decrease the... decline in population of like wild animals in like forests from wildfires so then it basically helps them survive and

be less harmed. That's amazing. Give them a round of applause. That's so good. I love this. They're literally saving animal lives. Pop-ups, are you ready to recap? I think so. Okay, so this invention is called WFAS, the Wildfire Animal Shelter. You got it. W-F-A-S. It's a shelter. Also an acronym. The non- toxic air gets pumped into a protected home and the animals are fed inside of this shelter. We all love animals. And clean air.

That's our desire. So we gotta keep them safe from the fire. Nice. That's right. They're making this up. Okay. And... And also the sound will make an alert if they run out of food. It says beep, beep, beep, beep, beep, beep. That's your food time. That's right. WFAS Wildfile Animal Shelter. WFAA. It's an acronym. Wildfire. Wildfire.

Time-traveling tinkerers, I've loved everything you've shared. Judges, do you have any follow-up questions for them? Well, yes, we do, Curly Q. I would like to set fire to this stage so we can... I'll start a... in this theater so we can see if it really works. I love the spirit of that. I'm going to start a fire. We got to test it. We got to test it. Do you think that we need to test it right now?

Sure. I'm going to start a wildfire. I believe that it works. So we don't need to test it. But great question. Anything else? What was it called again? The WWW.Wildfire? WWWS. Well, that's great. The World Wide Wildfire Web. WFAS, the Wildfire Animal Shelter. Excellent. WFAS. Exactly. I think these are very smart children. I wish you were mine. Can I? Would I like to adopt you? No further questions. Would anyone like to be adopted by Grandma G-Force? They're almost old enough to be my dad.

I'm sorry, I'm gonna have to pass on that. Okay, so it was only Jasper, but that's one. Okay, thank you, Time Traveling. Take ours. Give them a round of applause. Very nice. Bonker Ballers, I'm so excited to hear about your invention. Can you tell us what it's called and tell us a little bit about it? It's called the... Wait, let me look. Well, they're going to find their paper.

the blind cart and it helps animals um it helps animals that are blind get around the place and if they press on this and makes a sound which can attract humans and they can take them to a pet shelter that can help them that's beautiful you know what i want it has a little buckle so the animals don't Go around. Do I have your permission to pick this up and bring it over to the camera so people can see it way in the back? I want them to see the specificity of this. Okay.

So here's the camera. So everybody in the back can see. So this, you said this was the buckle that buckles them in. And then this is how they let people know they're coming with the beeping. They can move around if they just, like, nudge it forward because the wheels can move. Okay, and what's the purpose of this string? Well, if a human finds it, they can drag them around somewhere. Amazing. Okay, do you want to add anything, Nico, about...

the animals that it's helping. Are there specific animals? I guess you said all blind animals. Like any animal that's blind or small. Small animals, right, because it's a small. toy or a small contraption here. Anything else, Isabella? It's like for hamsters or like little dogs. Do you have a hamster? No. Do you have a hamster? Nope. Do you have a hamster? Nope. That's okay. All right.

Wonderful, but they would fit perfectly. Is there anything else you want to share? It says how it wows. You want to read it?

It rolls and helps animals move. It rolls and helps animals. Beautiful. So the blind cart, do you want to ask any follow-up questions, Grandma G-Force and Thomas Fingerland? Well, what if you... are not blind but you're like fingerling and you can't hear anything i say can it help you out with that you can't hear nothing fingerling oh you're fine is it is it for humans or is it for animals

Oh, I'm an animal. It is only for animals. Anything else? I'll let you see it up close because you're right here. It's beautiful. Oh, I want to take a ride in that. Okay, you definitely cannot take a ride in that. Thank you. It's for hamsters. And gerbils? Is it for gerbils? Is it for gerbils? What are gerbils? What about a guinea pig? A gerbil is similar to a hamster, right?

Gerbils grow up to be rabbits. Let's check Wikipedia and see what the difference between a gerbil and a hamster. Let's recap. Let's recap with the pop-ups. So... The invention is called the blind cart, and it is for small blind animals like hamsters and gerbils. Well, that's nice. Okay. A blind hamster. Can't go far unless it's got that teeny tiny little car. And there's a little honking horn so that all the humans know where to find the animals.

A honking little horn makes that little thing great. But don't worry if you're human. You can always use it as a roller skate. And it specifically, wow. because it rolls and it helps animals. Well, it helps animals. It rolls is what it does. And even if you're a gerbil, well, it can help you too. The blind cart. The blind.

a little bit about each team's invention. This is in fact the moment that we have all been waiting for. Judges, you've had a moment to witness the innovation and the creativity of these inventions. And have you decided? Which team is going to win today's coveted Golden Reggie Trophy? Why, yes, we have Curly Q. Yes, what do you decide? Well, we... do everything around here. I'm exhausted. Grandma G4 said it. You are all the judges. Are you willing to decide the fate of today's competition?

Boys, bring out the decibel reader. This is a real decibel reader. Do you want to tell them how it works? Yes, a decibel reader. uses vibrations in the air to assign numerical value, thus figuring out how many decibels the sound makes. If you go louder, the number goes up. All right, let's see if it works. Wow, you're at about a 105. Okay. I'm going to try to whisper. I got down to a 68. All right, beautiful.

So here's how we're going to do this. Okay. I am going to gesture to a team, and you are going to clap your hands, stomp your feet, make some noise, and that's how we're going to determine today's winner, okay? So we're going to start with complete and total silence. Okay? I need silence. Jason. Oh, excuse me. It's fine. It's fine. Think about who wowed you the most today.

I heard a rubber chicken. Okay. All right. Not yet. If you think that the time-traveling tinkerers wowed you the most today, make some noise. A 110 for the Time Traveling Tinkerers. Pretty good, pretty good. Okay, we need quiet again. We have to reset. If you think that the Bunker Ballers wowed you the most today, make... Thank you for your innovation and your brilliance today. One more round of applause for the Bonker Ballers. But we are not going to send you home empty-handed. We would never.

rubber chickens for each one of you. Congratulations. You worked so hard and you wowed us all. You still made us wow. So thank you to both of you. teams for all of your creativity and your ingenuity and your innovation. And thank you all for being here. you guys would get up out of your seats or at least clap your hands. Get your... Are you having a good time today? Let's learn about some inventors. Check it out, guys. See, in Alabama lived a...

A girl named Mary Anderson. Where'd she grow up? She grew up on a farm and came up with an invention. Okay, this is sounding promising. You see... One day on a trolley ride, snow was falling hard outside and the driver couldn't see. And Mary thought, how could this be? So she thought up an invention to make every windshield clean. That's right.

And then, back in Alabama, she worked every single day. Making windshield wipers that could wipe the snow away. And her invention is still used today. So we're calling it all. Can you do windshield wipers? I need new ones. Help me out. We're calling on, calling on the great inventors. That's you, you, you, you and you. Yes, New York! of tomorrow we need you to make the world a better place for all us human animals so let's all say I could be a great inventor I know it's low I could be
