Episode description

Jessica Taggart Rose, a poet based in Margate, UK, speaks about her debut pamphlet, The river has no colour, published in a bilingual version by The New Menard Press. (https://www.thenewmenardpress.com/)

The poems paint Paris through the seasons, through the rain and the canicular sun, posing questions about the ecological problems the city faces. EK asks Jessica about her poetic process and the collaboration between herself and Claire Durand-Gasslin, who did the French translation. Jessica Taggart Rose is a poet and performer concerned with humanity, nature and how they interact. Her poems have been published widely. She is a founding member of Poets for the Planet (https://poetsfortheplanet.org.uk/), an Artful Scribe Creative Writer Against Coastal Waste and one half of the Promenade duo.
