There is a misconception that the alcohol industry is dominated by men, but in 2016, gin sales rose by 16% largely thanks to premium brands, many of which are managed or produced by women. As if to prove the point, having just recently spoken with Mary Beth Cole from Foraging Vintners, a local artisan alcohol producer in the South of the Island, Christy then caught up with two women who are making a name for themselves in the UK with their somewhat surprising product...
