On today’s program, we bring you some coverage from the2017 Indigenous and Grass roots Movements Solidarity Gathering. The conference was held in Melbourne Australia, over the weekend of 7 & 8 October, and was hosted by the Latin American Solidarity Network.The two keynote speakers featured on today’s program, are Kristy Lee Horswood - Warriors of the Aboriginal Resistance (WAR) activist and member of the Gamilaraay Nation and Catalina Catrileo - Mapuche activist and sister of Matías Catrileo, the 22 year old Mapuche warrior who was murdered by the Chilean police in 2008.
