With a passion for sustainability from a very young age Lucy Lyons, CEO of Kestrix - a new and innovative construction software that maps how heat escapes from buildings – has always questioned why, as an industry, construction isn’t better a decarbonisation.  In this podcast with Women in BIM Global Vice Chair, Marie Grieve, Lucy shares her long-term passion and why this is the foundation upon which she has built Kestrix.

Born from a need to support the sustainable retrofit of aging housing stock to improve the way we live, particularly in an age when fuel poverty is a colossal issue, Lucy knows that huge steps must be taken to improve this for so many of us – and she is ready to take these steps! 

The actions of individuals are important, but we can’t take action to decarbonise construction alone, we must unite to take on the fight as a collective! And the best weapon to ready ourselves for this fight is data.
