Episode description

Episode 13 of the Women in BIM Podcast series is now live. During this episode, WIB Regional Lead for Bangaluru in Indian and WSP Associate Angana Ghosh talks to WSP’s Head of iCRC Debashish Das and Head of Digital Business, Global Technology Centre, India for SNC Lavalin, Haima Haldar about their own career journeys and what led them to BIM.

Angana asked our guests the current status of digital transformation across the construction industry in India, with both agreeing that construction generally in the region has been relatively slow to transform its ecosystem into a digitised one. However, there are positive signs that streamlining business processes with the help of digital solutions is going a long way in overcoming challenges faced by the industry.

The demand for a smart and sustainable culture is gaining ground with 66% of construction companies say digital transformation is a key priority to drive much needed change.

Listen to the conversation in full and hear more about the delivery of digital construction methods across India.
