Episode 157 - So you want to get into long range shooting, part 4. bits and bobs.

The last part to this series is called "bits and bobs".  All the little things you will need besides the rifle and optics to get started in learning and mastering the art of marksmanship or fundamentals.  I think in this case, less but better is always a good approach.  Don't fall into or become a victim of G.A.S. "gear acquisition syndrome".  Here, staying true to our craft and using simple everyday tools or items you would take to a field match or a hunt is gear.  Learn the fundamentals, not the gear.  Take full advantage of all your gear as you grow, but don't learn to rely on it to make the shot or to be a great marksman.  This is the list of things you need, pure and simple.
