Good morning, peeps, and welcome to wikap Daily with Meet your Girl Danielle Moody recording in a very interesting manner from the Brooklyn Bunker. Folks, let me tell you something. This is my first woke Wednesday posts the Thanksgiving holiday break and with a couple of weeks until we enter into full thrust holiday season, and you know, about eleven and a half months or so until we meet the

presidential election of twenty twenty four. And I have to tell you that I am absolutely and completely and totally fucking terrified. I have not felt this level of stress, concern, and worry in a very long time. Why is that, Well, one, because I've been focusing on self care and on meditation, and on exercise and on you know, a whole host of ways in order to keep myself grounded in a very important way, as I hope all of you are

as well. I've also made it a point to not pay attention to polls this far out, you know, of a presidential election. That all being said, like you, I went home for the holidays, or maybe you had your family or friends or family come to you. And of course, probably since the beginning of the MAGA Trump error, you cannot like steer clear of politics. Thankfully, in my family we all share for the most part, the same political

affiliation and party. So it's not about necesscessarily going into a dinner or conversation with your racist uncle or your you know, or your homophobic parents or anything like that. Like that's not my situation. However, I did engage in several conversations with friends who listen to my shows, who follow politics, who are extraordinarily, you know, highly educated by

traditional standards of what education looks like. And I will tell you, dear fucking friends, that they don't want to vote for Biden in the next presidential election, that they in many ways are putting down their stake in the ground and saying that they are no longer going to be forced to vote by fear, that they are going to vote their values, and that they are not going to side with an administration and condone the policies out of an administration that is allowing for tens of thousands

of Palestinian people to be murdered, half or more of those being children, on our watch, on our dime, on our time, And that you know many of the people, and that I am speaking with and have spoke to are saying, you know, things to the effect of, I'm going to vote my values. I'm going to vote my consciousness, and my conscious does not tell me to align myself with a supposed democratic party that condones and celebrates, you know, democracy.

I guess for democracy ish to tag my other show on our soil right and not recognize or hold accountable this state of Israel from committing war cribs right and not upholding international law. You know, I was listening most recently to an anchor on MSNBC, and folks, I almost died because that anchor said, how, you know, how can Israel, like, should Israel essentially be expected to uphold international law when they're fighting against a horrific, you know, terrorist organization? The

fuck you think international law was created? Right, It doesn't mean that. Oh so I guess then when America said that it was fighting ISIS or al Qaeda, that then that is that what condones the level of force and violence and archaic right use of force because oh those people are terrorists. Let us understand, and I am not at all. Let me be very fucking clear. Condoning violence,

condoning terrorism, condoning anything of that nature. But if those that are a part of let's say the United Nations, those that are a part of right, the foreign affairs, diplomacy, global relations community totally right disregard international law because of who they're fighting, and they're the ones that get to tell that, get to decide and get to define who those people are, then the rule of law right just false because the only way that the rule of law

persists is if everyone who signed up in agreement to said law uphold it regardless of what they are faced with. We have tribunals right for a fucking reason. And what people are seeing now, folks and what like we can't continue to ignore is that you can't. And I just reread President Biden's op ed in the New York Times

that came out about eleven days ago. By the time that you listen to this, and I encourage you, if you haven't read it, to read it, where he conflates the cause of US defending US meeting US the large usus A defending the Ukrainian people right and providing them with weapons to be able to combat Putin, and US using those same weapons to help Israel defend itself. These

two situations are not the fucking same. And whoever okayed that op ed pooh pooh on you, because you clearly do not have the basic contextualized understanding of foreign affairs

if you're putting those two crises in the same bucket. Now, I understand for political reasons why Joe Biden did that, because he's dealing with a House of Representatives being led by a right wing, rabid, fucking lunatic right Mike Johnson who said that he is not going to provide funds to continue the defense of the Ukrainian people right, because we know that the Republican Party is in the pocket of Putin right. Who Donald Trump is in the pocket

of Putin right. So we get here when Mike Johnson said, well, we'll provide aid to Israel, right and let us all like this is also fucked up too, because we also know the Republican Party is filled with a bunch of anti Semits. And there is a larger reason as to why there's a Christo fascist reason as to why all of a sudden they want to come to the aid

of Israel, right. And I want folks to like do some research about that, but it basically has to do with the creation of Israel in the first place, and the believing that like the second Coming of Christ, will come through there. Right, Like it is when I say that Mike Johnson and the Mike Pences and the Mitch when I say that these motherfuckers are nuts, this is

the type of shit that I'm talking about. Nonetheless, in this op ed, Joe Biden conflates these two causes as a way right to say that if you're not gonna okay, the fun like these two issues without the United States leadership, right, we are creating a vacuum for authoritarianism and terror in the world. Now, folks, these two things are not the fucking same. Right, On one hand, you have Vladimir Putin

who is held them on rebuilding the USSR. Right, this is the Ukraine is a crown jewel, not only for their uranium and their oil reserves, huge in terms of

money and power and access. Right, So we understand that, but also right that if you can take them, then you can begin right to fill up your side of the chessboard, okay, and then you will be able to have the power right to align with for a function of a massive global takeover with China and other folks that you share interest in, which is what is that shared interest? A weakened or demolished United States, which Putin

had already begun with the installation of a Donald Trump. Right, follow me, Okay, this is not the same as a seventy five year occupation that has been going on in Israel, right, an occupation of the Palestinian people. What people are waking up to now which they haven't known? Right? And why haven't they known this? Not through any fault of their own.

Let's be honest, right, like we don't do we barely do fucking domestic policy and civics in school, let alone global Right Americans don't we always say in media, Americans don't care about what is happening elsewhere because it doesn't have any general or deep implications in their day to day lives. Right, And what you hear often is why are we sending so much money overseas when we don't invest in our own social safety nets and domestic policies in a way that help better the lives of the

American people. I digress, fast forward right to America's hand in the creation of Israel, and fast forward to our continual financial support in the billions of dollars a year, not a billion billions of dollars a year for Israel to be able to have get this, you know, free healthcare for people israelis, but for people inside of Israel, right and beyond, right and beyond other measures that you know, we're told that we can't have here in the United

States because apparently we can't handle nice things. I don't know, but our own tax dollars go to ensure that other people have nice things. I digress. The fact is that where did Israel get the idea for their type of occupation and oppression of the Palestinian people, Because if there is a united Palestine, then Israel will cease to exist. Has always been the belief of the far right right, which now occupies the Knesset and holds a sea slip of the tongue there Net Nyahu's be to the fire. Okay.

So the United States continues to uphold this idea of Israel being the only democracy in the Middle East, when in fact they're not actually a democracy, okay. And that's what people are becoming aware of now. We use a lot of rhetoric and words in the United States liberty, freedom, justice, all of these things that make us believe that any time that the United States walks out into the world, that it is because of this idea of the preservation

of global democracies. What we don't know is how Israel, to the extent that it is a democracy, is in name only and only for israelis because the Palestinian people have a whole other set of rules and laws that they must abide by that are completely and totally different from the state of Israel. Okay, where do they get this idea from? Let me think about it. Can we say, Jim Crow? Right? Can we talk about American segregation? Can we talk about where did the idea around apartheid come from?

Maybe America. We don't just export weapons, we export ideology as well. So what we through fighting, protesting, people dying, being assassinated through the courts, were able right to do away with Jim Crow and really institute quote unquote democracy in the United States. But truly not until nineteen sixty five in the passage of the Voting Rights Act. While we were busy trying to institute democracy here, we kept saying that Israel was also this democracy, but it wasn't.

Why are people so angry right now because they recognize and are becoming hip to the fact that their money is being used to kill tens of thousands of people, namely children, in their name and in the name of democracy. When we write at are continuing to be at war right at home and ideological war that we are losing with the Republican Party that wants to institute chrysto fascism here. So they are looking at Israel and not in Yahoo's power to destroy Gaza and this menace of a population

and saying, hmm, that looks nice. When we're in power, we'll be able to create two sets of laws, three sets of laws, or however many, and we'll control all of the branches and mechanisms of power to uphold our chrysto fascist ideology. You see their stakes here. But here's the problem. Biden and the Biden administration ain't getting it that a lot of their base is viewing their policy in Israel right and Palestine through a social justice and

racial justice lens. And what they are seeing and what they are fearing is that if we continue to support this administration and this horrific, horrific, murderous rampage that has been going on for the last seven weeks. If we can ignore what is happening in Palestine, then when it comes to us, those that are not white cis straight, men, right and Christian in the United States, what's to stop Who is going to stop this from happening to us?

Now you will say, well, Danielle, if people don't vote, that is like voting for Trump. And guess what. I fucking agree with you, and you are absolutely right, But guess what matters messaging. Guess what matters even more your policy matching your messaging. So you cannot call us again and say that you are fighting for the soul of America and fighting for democracy while funding the complete opposite

someplace else with our money. You cannot tell us right that Joe Biden is the best alternative when he seems to be completely tone fucking death with regards to what is happening on the ground in the United States. So why am I filled if it's such panic and fucking dread eleven and a half months ahead of the twenty twenty four election, Because I see no fucking pivot in sight.

They think that they're doing a great job, and the Republican Party pretty much just has to sit by and continues stacking fucking money like they're doing at the Heritage Foundation, which is put together their twenty twenty five takeover fucking plan. When I tell you that we are in fucking trouble, believe me, because while you all know that I am not the one to feign, you know, optimism, that I hold on to my mustard seed of hope, I am holding on so fucking hard I may crush it right now.

That's how terrified I am becoming of the numbers that we are seeing. Because what happens right when people decide that not only are they going to vote, but they're also not going to help get out the vote. Right, we need as much enthusiasm as possible, and that is dwindling by the fucking minute. We have absolutely no time, eleven and a half months in this fucking day, and

age goes by like that. So I am becoming increasingly worried about this organization, this organization, and I mean this administration, like and all of the organizations that are pro democracy, pro social justice, pro civil rights, being able to continue to feed people not just oh I'm not Trump, but to feed them some type of hopefulness and you can't feed hope when all we're fucking scrolling through is just instruction, devastation, and death. So, folks, on this woke Wednesday, I'm gonna

ask you all. I need you to start doing informal polls, right. I need you to start pulling together focus groups with your people, your friends, your colleagues. Start taking folks as temperature on where they are right now in terms of how they are thinking about twenty twenty four, if they're thinking about it at all, which I know that a majority of you who listen to me absolutely are. But

are your people? And then tell me in the content section what folks are saying, because then you will start to maybe get the same feeling or maybe you have better news for me. Right, tell me what state you were listening from, right, tell me you know what you were seeing in terms of ads and on the TV and rumblings at your schools and your ptas and your

you know, board meetings or what have you. Because folks need a better picture of what the fuck is happening because what I am seeing, what I am hearing is not great. Right, And as somebody with fifty eleven fucking podcasts, we gotta ship the messaging and it's gotta happen soon. That is it for me today. Dear friends on Woke af AS always, power to the people and to all the people. Power, get woke and pray to God we all stay woke as fuck.
