Speaker 1

Good morning, peepson. Welcome to woke F Daily with Meet your Girl Danielle Moody, recording from the Home Bunker. Folks, it is Friday and you have made it. Give yourselves a pat on the back, a round of applause, a yelp to the heavens if you are alone, and fuck it if you're with other people they can scream into Sometimes getting to the end of the week is a

victory in and of itself. And for those of you who used to follow me back when I was on Serious XM, Friday's used to be a special day on woke F and I am reviving this tradition as we are now on iHeart Radio, and so Friday's, dear friends, welcome back to some and welcome to others to fuck it Friday. Now, fuck it Friday is the day where we can look at what transpired during the week and decide what it is that we are going to be saying. Ah,

fuck it too. So if you're listening to this and you think to yourself, oh, Danielle, you miss dex, Sorry, oh you miss why, then tweet me out with the hashtag woke a F and the hashtag fuck it Friday and tell me what you are saying fuck it too this week, and so let me begin. Dear friends, if you follow me on the socials, particularly on TikTok where I am at Danielle Moody underscore, or on Twitter Instagram where I am at d D E two C E NTF, you might have seen my response to what has now

become a viral moment on television. And it was between the co host of the show Rising, which is affiliated with The HILLTV the Hill dot Com, Brianna Joy Gray and her guest conservative author and conservative columnist Bethany Mandel.

Now Bethany Mandel, as would have it, in the vein of other Republicans and quote unquote conservatives have found themselves using the term woke every day, all day for everything, as an excuse for why trains derail or why banks fail, like it's all because of wokeness, right, and that wokeness is coming to take over America, and so we got to wage a war on wokeness. So, when asked directly by Brianna Joy Gray, well, you're using the term woke, can you explain it to us? What is the definition

of woke? Oh, dear friends, This is where it gets good because Bethanie Mandel embodied what a human version of aderin headlights look like. And what got me about this moment as she was stammering, you know, it's hard to it's hard to put into word in such a such a quick fifteen second sound bite. I mean, you know, I wrote a chapter on it, but it's so hard for me to, you know, grab a sentence in definition, and Brianna says, take your time, I'm not rushing you,

and she can't come up with the definition. Well, this would be the first time, folks, that a journalist actually asked one of these conservative bozos how to define the word. It is that they keep using for everything that they don't like, everything that is outside of the six hetero white, oftentimes mail right quote unquote Christian perspective. So I decided

to retort because that is what I do. And if you have not seen the video up on Twitter and on TikTok, I tell you to go and check it out because simply, folks, what you need to understand is that the word woke came from the black vernacular, so of course it would be really difficult for white supremacist to figure out how to define this thing that they have co opted and yet don't really understand because for them, they don't need to define it to their base, because

it is the dog whistle of all whistles. Instead of being able to readily use the N word right now, they just interchange it with the word woke. Oh, you got woke policies, you got woke Eminem's you got woke gas Stow's right, I mean everything that is the antithesis too white centered Christian male dominance. But wokeness, what is

the definition? Well, it's pretty fucking simple. To be woke means to be conscious of and aware of the layered oppressions that affect people in this country and around the globe. It means to be activated towards and conscious too the change that is necessary to confront systemic inequity. It's not rocket science. So then to be anti woke, dear friends, is to be oh, I don't know, asleep, unaware, oblivious, a fucking political ostrich that decides to bury their head

in the sand. For them, wokeness is anything that appeals to any one that isn't white, that isn't straight, that is insists, that is in Christian. That's why they hate it so much. That's why they use this term. But you have to understand that they used to use other terms. They used to use terms like this Southern strategy. They

used to use terms like the welfare queen. And now they use wokeness as their coded dog whistle bull horn language to signal to their white supremacist base, to their chrystal fascist constituents that anything that does not center them and their fucking snowflake feelings is woke. What I loved about this exchange with Bethanie Mandel is that here is an example to journalists about what you actually need to do.

Instead of running with these fucking headlines, instead of putting up microphones in front of Ronda Santis and giving him a platform for his fascism, maybe ask a question, right, Maybe ask a fucking follow up, instead of just running with the bullshit that they say and treating it as if it is normal political discourse. When you know that it's fascism, when you know that it's racism, calling something

out does not make you bias. It makes you a person that is actually good at the job of journalism. Brianna Joy Gray showed that and She did a follow up video, which won't, of course, gain as many clicks as this initial broadcast did because in our follow video she said, this was not a you gotcha moment, right, This is simply to ask somebody who is using terminology often to define it for the audience, to define it for the people that you're speaking to, because we all

have different definitions, So what is yours? And the fact is is that journalists do not do that enough, and they let the Bethany Mandels and the Rhonda Santass and the Greg Abbots and the Sarah Huckabee Sanders and the Marjorie Taylor Greens and the Matt Gates and all of these motherfuckers off the hook to just spout their bullshit because they're afraid that if they actually press these people with a basic question like define what it is that

you're saying and who it is that you're speaking to that, then they're going to be labeled somehow as being biased. No, you're gonna be labeled as somebody who again just knows how to do their job. Instead of being so concerned with access, you should be more concerned with the truth and with what it is that your audience needs to know as opposed to what you want them to know.

So for that very reason, my first fuck it goes to Bethany Mandel and to all of the carbon copy Republicans who have now come to her aid to say, oh, my goodness, she just you know, television is just so hard. Well, if your job is to be a media personality, then you should be able to think pretty quick on your feet, shouldn't you. Yeah, too bad, Bethany, maybe next time. Up next on my list of people to say fuck it

too is a state senator out of Minnesota. Now, guys, you have probably seen again this video that has also gone viral. There is a piece of legislation that a Democratic state senator was putting up to offer free and reduce lunch to all of the children in the state of Minnesota because, according to data that you actually procure on Earth one, not where Senator Steve Drikowski lives, one in six children in Minnesota is food and secure. And

what does it mean to be food and secure? It means that you don't know when and where your next meal is actually going to be coming from. Well, this is what Senator Steve Driskowski, who is going to vote against this piece of legislation, So he's voting against feeding hungry children, says quote, I have yet to meet a person in Minnesota that is hungry. I'm sorry what. Then he went on to talk about the fact that well,

hunger Many definitions. You know, I had a granola bar for breakfast, and so right now some would say that I would be hungry. I'm sorry what. This is the kind of barbarism, draconian ideology that this Republican Party is consumed with. Now, I want you all to think about this. This is a party that uses children as a political football. Right. They're all about being pro life and all about the children. When it is a fetus inside of a womb, when said fetus has yet to develop all of itsels and

is breathing actual oxygen. Now, when that happens, the Republican motto is pretty much fuck them kids, right, because not only do you not want to pass legislation that doesn't expire, like the child tax credit, right that would allow you know, parents a little more and caregivers a little more money to be able to support their children and their basic

needs with their own tax dollars. By the way, because here's the whole thing that when Republicans start to talk about fucking handouts, what Americans are actually asking for when they're asking for a return on their investment, is that you take all of this money from me right through my taxes. We're taxed probably more than any other country, right if you think about it, and you know, some would look and say, well, we have really good infrastructure.

Well not really, not if you travel through parts of Asia and Europe, that is actually not the case. Our infrastructure, our airports and railways don't look great odes I mean, I can look to the Long Island Expressway where you can lose a whole car in the fucking sides of the potholes that are up and down that strip. But nonetheless, your tax dollars are supposed to go for supporting different programs.

So when we are saying, oh, here's a program that could benefit people, you're not asking for a government quote unquote handout. You're asking for a part of your fucking investment back right now. What I would love is for us to be able as investors, let's say, in the American Project, to be able to diversify my portfolio and say I don't want to put eight hundred billion dollars into the Pentagon that I actually would like to say in where my money goes, but we don't do that.

But when you look at had legislation like this, which is meant to solve the very real problem, which is child hunger in this state, and then you have Republicans turn around and want to debate you on the word and the definition of hunger and say, well, it must not exist because I have never seen it with my own eyes. It's like, what planet are you on? How do you hold up the needs quote unquote of children and life and all of these things, and at the same time deny a hungry child the one meal that

they may have in a day. Then you have the likes of like a Ben Shapiro who says, well, if the kids are hungry, one meal isn't going to really solve the problem, are you fucking dumb? So then the Republican response is just, well, if one meal isn't kind of solve hunger, let's give them no food. It's really wild, how barbaric, how evil, how just I don't even know, valueless the Republican Party has become. But when I look at the likes of Steve Drakowski and these comments and

then being uplifted by other Republican talking heads. You're like, oh, this countryman is just really going down like in flames, just so so fast, staying in the same vein as it pertains to children and women and people who give birth. Another report came out this week that for the last three years, right since twenty twenty, since the beginning of the pandemic, that maternal mortality has increased in this country by forty percent, not four folks, forty four zero percent,

consistently increasing over the last three years. And of course it has increased most for whom black mothers, who are dying at two and a half times the rate of their white counterparts. And mind you, this has nothing to do with your economic status, because middle class and wealthy black women are dying at the same rate as someone who is low income. How does that make sense? Will You can't explain it without explaining racism in the medical industry.

You want to talk about an epidemic, Well, it's sure as fuck is in wokeness, right, it's racism and the denial thereof because it's costing black women their lives. But you see, if they can't starve you. If they can't shoot you in the street, if they can't suffocate you in the street, if they can't kill you in the hospitals, right like, they gotta find some way. If they can't poison your water, poison the ground, you gotta hit them

at all different angles. It's amazing to me that Black people actually survive the consistent and unrelenting assault on our humanity and existence. Think about all of the things that I just named, folks, they all have multiple headlines and stories that are recent. This is not shit from the history books that they're also trying to erase. I'm talking about Jackson, Mississippi and the poisoning of order. I'm talking about Flint and the pipes that still have not been replaced.

I'm talking about George Floyd. I'm talking about Tyree Nichols. Right, I'm talking about women like Serena Williams, the greatest athlete of all time, who almost died in the hospital giving birth because the doctors and nurses refuse to listen to her about her pre existing condition of bloodcots. Had she not been Serena Williams, she would have been a statistic. This is not normal. This is reprehensible in a country that is supposed to be quote unquote advanced, the quote

unquote rich nation. Give me a fucking break. You can't have numbers like you're a developing nation when it comes to health and wellness and then turn around and say that you're the wealthiest nation. The reframe of that is, oh, no, America is the greediest nation, because if we're looking at wealth as being a point of what it is that we produce, we've produced a lot of fucking greedy people

who could give a fuck about humanity. And you could look at that from healthcare to banking, to policing an on it's pretty outrageous. Another thing to say fuck it to this week if I have to hear one more time about yet another recording of Don Old Trump trying to overturn and steal the twenty twenty election, and it is not filed up with oh, and he's being indicted on this charge, that charge, of that charge, of that charge, and that charge. I don't want to hear the fucking

story how about that? Because I don't know how much criming one person one administration must do in broad daylight on fucking tape and still be walking free. I'm still trying to figure out how the fuck Steve Bannon was convicted and this motherfucker was just that seapack. Why is he not in jail. It is the whiteness for me, right, It is the whiteness and the wealth for me. It is good to be a rich white man in America anywhere for that matter, but particularly in America, you can

actually and literally get away with murder. People pat you on the back and call you a genius. They don't really dig into how you got your start, whether or not you pulled yourself up from your bootstraps or daddy gave you a billion dollars. You know, we would not be in this situation right with Donald Trump. Well one, if it wasn't for that sloth like jellyfish Merritt Garland, who should have never been named the Attorney General of

the United States. He does not have the temerity, he does not have the tenacity, he does not have the spine, he does not have the wherewithal for this job, and he should have been fired, if not never named in the first fucking place. That's number one. Number two, we're here because of America's love, affair, and worship of celebrity, whiteness, and wealth. Donald Trump is the walking, talking monument to

that worship. Right, Donald Trump, if was any other person, would have gone to jail a long time of go. But the funny thing is is that we know that Donald Trump ain't going to jail. Now. If he is, let's just you know, go out on a limb. Word on the street is that Donald Trump will be indicted, maybe today, maybe Monday, maybe coming soon, I don't know.

Could be coming from the Department of Justice, could be coming from the Manhattan District Attorney, could be coming from the Fulton County District Attorney before she's pushed out of her job by a bunch of white Republican men who have decided to write the law because they don't want any of their friends to be indicted, namely Donald Trump, so they can get rid of anybody that they don't

fucking like. The fact of the matter here is friends that even if Donald Trump is indicted on multiple charges, he's going to continue running for office because we have no laws on the books for that. Because the forefathers of this country could not have foreseen the likes of Donald Trump, He's going to continue running for office. He's going to use it as his biggest talking point. Even if it does go to trial. You know, maybe he'll settle out with a fine. But do we really think

that Donald Trump is going to do time? Do we really think? Right? Again, had Nixon actually done time for his crime, Donald Trump wouldn't even exist because there would have been precedent for what we do with criminal ass presidents who abuse their power. We're here because rich white men are never held accountable for the level of damage that they do. We're here with the banks because greedy ass CEOs and shareholders were not held accountable for their

wrongdoing during the early two thousands. We keep thinking that, oh, well, people will learn. What are they learning, Yes, they are learning. They're learning how to keep criming, how to get better at it. Because unless you hold people accountable at the level at which they need to be held accountable for the crimes that they commit against this country, against humanity, then what you get in their place will be worse. Enter center stage, Ron de Santis, Glenn Yuncan, Greg Abbott,

Sarah Huckabee Sanders. So to that, I say, dear friends, fuck it to Donald Trump, fuck it to the Trump administration. Fuck it to the cable news stations that bring on these fucking former Trump officials and staffers who lied to the American people, who profited off of our pain and now get to sit down and plush media jobs and be taken quote unquote seriously. You know That's why by the time that we get to the end of the week, I'm just you know, I just want to wash it

all off me. I want to take a break, a stretch, a deep inhale, a primal scream, whatever it is that you do to shake this shiit off so that we can continue to move forward. So, dear friends, if you got a fuck it Friday for me, please tweet me out at D two cents D E E T W O C E N T S. Hit me up and tell me what you are saying fuck it to this week. That is it for me today, dear friends, on woke a f as always, Power to the people and to all the people. Power, get woke and stay woke as fuck.
