Good morning, peeps, and welcome to Okay f Daily with Meet your Girl Danielle Moody, recording from the Home Bunker. Folks, we have made it through another stunning week in America. So first, before I dive into this week's fuck it Friday, give yourselves a round of applause, Pat yourself on the back, give yourself a big hug, Take take a hit, take a sip, you know, because I feel like getting to Friday in America, namely unscathed. Let's say that is a

triumph in it of itself. And look when you find yourselves that, do you think anyself? Damn, I am so exhausted. I don't know what it is, you know, I'm just I feel so just bone tired. Understand that this is your body's reaction to all of the stress, the anxiety, the emotional whirldwind that we are subjected to every week in this country. When I was younger, I used to

love Friday nights. Let me tell you that I Friday nights when I was young was like the thing I used to you know, go out right after work, stay out until God knows when, sleep in on Saturday's pop up up. I would be lucky if I could make it to a happy hour on a Friday and that happy hour not be on my couch. Let me be honest with you, because by the time that I get through all of the headlines of every single day and get to Friday, I am about fucking done and useless.

And that's okay. And that is okay. My body and my mind all want to shut down at the same time, and I allow that to happen. So let's get to what exhausted me this week. Let's start out with the Missouri Republicans. I just can't even believe, friends, that like things like this happen, that the Missouri legislature right has taken the book ban to a whole frightening, frightening level. And this is where we are, and this is according

to NBC News quote. Republicans who control the Missouri House have passed a budget that doesn't give its public libraries a single cent of state money. The lawmakers were angered that the Missouri Association of School Librarians and the Missouri Library Association had the temerity to challenge a law Missouri lawmaker's path last year removing certain material deemed too sexually explicit for school libraries. According to a March twenty fourth

report from the Kansas City Star, Missouri State rep. Cody Smith said of those groups, quote, they are seeking to overturn that law that was unanimously supported by the House. I don't think we should subsidize that. Just pause for a second, friends, Pause for a second and think about what has happened to the diseased brain of the Republican party.

Children are being gunned down in their classrooms right. Superstorms get bigger batter causing billions of dollars worth of damage every year because a climate change, white supremacy, hate crimes at an all time high. Life expectancy in the US is backsliding along with our democracy. The most important thing that the Missouri House Republicans feel that they need to pass is legislation to defund access to books. They're banning, not even just banning small amounts of books anymore, They're

gonna defund and shut down whole libraries. If that doesn't smell and taste and look and sound like fascism, tell me what the fuck does. Because you see in authoritarian regimes, who do they go for first? They go after the books, They go after the educators. Right, he's talking this legislative official is referring to people in the Association of School Libraries, Right, he's referring to them as if they are somehow just a ban of activists. You can't get more mundane than

a fucking librarian. But in the minds of Republicans, this is more dangerous, right than creating an army of Kyle rittenhouses with their proliferation of guns across this country, with their permit lists and conceal and carry and all of that shit. That's all good and fine. I don't know why everybody's literally up in arms. It's the books. It's the librarian that we should be afraid of and shut

down and defund. So for that, the Missouri House Republicans get a big, huge, huge fuck you on this fucking Friday. And so we got to keep rolling because there is just too much that was a part of this week's full band of just fucking absolute nonsense in Nebraska, just

you know, calmly moving across these states. In Nebraska, you had a another state senator, Erdman, take to the set floor, who decides, I gotta tell you this, right wants to create an argument for the state of Nebraska to move from a twenty one day Let me, I want to make sure that I get this right. Yes, Nebraska currently allows abortion up to twenty one weeks and six days

of pregnancy. Right. But this past week, on Wednesday, Senator Steve Erdmann took to the floor of the State Senate to spout what we all refer to as the great replacement theory, and we have moved beyond. Oh, they're saying the quiet part out loud. There is no quiet part. Friends, the hoods are off, the bull horns are in hand, there is no quiet part. Their entire platform, the Republican Party is white supremacy and patriarchy. That's it. So this

is what this motherfucker said. Quote, our state population has not grown except by those foreigners who have moved here or refugees who've been placed here. So he goes on to say that these fetuses, these aborted fetuses, he said, could be working and filling some of those positions that we have vacancies. First of all, you're a fucking idiot,

Senator Erdman, like just dumb. I know that Republicans are very keen on rolling back you know, child worker protections across red States as well, and they wanted to be okay for children of the age of fourteen to you know, work in meatpacking plants where they could get fingers and toes and arms cut off. And now this motherfucker believes that, oh well, if we don't have access women don't have access to abortion, then those people, those in their minds people,

those fetuses could then fill vacancies. I just want you to understand, just stational periods and then you know, babies and toddlers, and by the time that they arrive at working age, sir, those vacancies will be filled. But let me not bring you through a chain of logic or science. Let's go back to his initial comments about these foreigners having babies. These are the things, right, This is the rhetoric that we've heard on Fox News. This is the

rhetoric that we've heard from Donald Trump. This is the rhetoric that is pervasive in the Republican Party. This, dear friends, is the he's in for overturning Dabs, right, for overturning Roe v. Wade. It is to ensure that white women are forced into pregnancy because the belief system here is that too many brown babies, Black babies are being born in this country and outpacing white babies, which means that,

guess what, they won't be the majority. What is fueling this, Well, the demographic shift that we know is already underway in this country. That where we have been told that by twenty thirty or twenty fifty, depending on whose studies you believe, that the majority of people in this country will be people of color. Well again, let me not, you know, misstep with my logic here, But if you believe that racism was a hoax and white privilege is a hoax and made up, then what would the fear be in

there being a majority of people of color in this country? Because, according to you, everyone is treated the same already. So where would the problem be except that you believe that people of color, if they were to ascend to power, would start treating you in the way that you have treated them. Like I loved one activist who said this, which is, you are lucky, these racist white folks are lucky that people of color in this country are only

after equity and not vengeance. Steve Ertmann, while an absolute fucking idiot, is emblematic of the entire Republican Party and their stance on owning uteruses right so that they and they alone get to produce as men white babies as possible and then create a permanent working class right with

the black and brown babies. It's a wild fucking place that we are where you feel totally and completely comfortable as an elected official to step foot on the Senate floor and say some hotshit like this and be like, who's going to check me? Boo? It's exactly what happened,

what we've watched happen in Tennessee. And thank god once again for the young people, the people of color in Tennessee that have shown up and shown out for the past couple of weeks, right because there the Tennessee Legislature kind of moved like ardmen where they're in those like fuck the Tennessee three. You're not going to stand with your constituents and have your constitutional right to estem bull

protected as a representative of this body. No, we're going to shut off your mics and if you use a ball home, we're going to tell you that you've broken the rules of decorum. Well, what we have learned is that the Tennessee Legislature doesn't really give a fuck about decorum when they have other people pissing in other people's seats, right,

or they have pedophiles actively serving in their body. But when it comes to two young, black, intelligent, charismatic, brilliant orators, that to them is the most dangerous thing that they could see, not white insurrectionists that are fucking armed, which is what the how speaker compared them to. This is

just like the insurrection, but worse. Oh that's right, you mean the people of Tennessee no longer want to send their kids to school and pray to God that they come home and that they are not identifying a ripped apart body and that there are actually some representatives that are not bought and sold by the fucking NRA. These are the same people that voted right behind closed doors, turned off the camera's friends to kill a bill that would alert high school graduates to their voting rights and

have them be able to register to vote. I mean, it's just, you know, so when Scott Kelly says this is what indoctrination looks like, when he's looking at as Justin Pearson, Representative Justin Pearson said the awakened giant in Tennessee and Representative Scott can look at this and say, this is what indoctrination looks like. No, you create policies and a climate of chaos that these young people are going to be inheriting, and they don't fucking want it.

They don't want your hot shit. Right, they're not indoctrinated. You're the ones that are standing your kids up with guns that are bigger than them. I watched a video, folks, and I retweeted it that Sharon Watts had tweeted out,

and it's heartbreaking. It was of this young first grader, little white girl, whose parent I think was filming them, asking them what they were getting ready to do in school today, and the little girl walked through the fact that they are getting ready to do a lockdown drill, that she has the responsibility to turn off the lamp that's in the room and then they'll hide and you know,

to keep safe. And you could see that the little girl is scared to death as she's telling this story sixty years old, because that's six or seven years old, is first grade. This is the climate that Republicans want right shutting down libraries, pulling books from them shelves because that's dangerous, but doing nothing right, because as the Tennessee representatives said, well, there's nothing. We're not going to fix it, you know, as other Republicans have said, you know, we're look,

we're never going to get rid of gun violence. So if a couple of kids die every year, that's the

price of freedom. They are fucking sick. They are sick, twisted cult And when you watch this week, which I know you didn't watch, but I saw clips of Donald Trump sitting down with Tucker Carlson, Tucker Carlson just sitting there like a good simp, not you know, asking any follow up questions, no pushback, no nothing, and Donald Trump just rattling off conspiracy theories, lies, you know, projecting faux masculinity,

toxic masculinity at best. I mean, the question that I keep wondering is have we just reached the point of no return? I mean that's kind of where I am, Like, I am so renewed in spirit with the protests in Tennessee, believing that Republicans are in fact overstepping right in a way that they can't hide their hoods nor they're trying, and that people are waking up and being like, yeah, we don't want you to be able to tell us who the fuck to vote for. Right, Our votes should matter,

our voices should matter. We're can make these decisions on our own that we elected, right, these officials, and you're trying to strip them of their power and their voice, which means that you're trying to strip us of our power and our voice. You want to talk about stop to steal. That's what the fuck the Republican Party is doing, locality by locality, state by state, from school boards to

state houses. Their policies are unpopular. They know it. It's why they pass shit under the cloak of darkness, because it doesn't pass the smell test during the day. And they're doing it little by little right, and then one day you'll wake up and all of your rights are gone and there's no recourse. I mean, just think about my other fucket, My major fucket of this week is Harlan Crowe, the multi fucking billionaire who bought a Supreme

Court justice. Do you see anybody opening up an investigation after this bombshell reporting by the New York Times of how Clarence Thomas and his wife are bought and sold by Harlan Crowe, Harland Crowe, Leo Leonard. They're roll in cahoots right with the Debosses and all of these rich white, quote uncrow Christo fascists, multi bill millionaires that are remaking America in their own twisted ideological ideals. And they can

do it because ain't nobody checking them. There is beyond enough information for the Department of Justice to open up an investigation, for the Senate Judiciary Committee to hold a fucking hearing, and hall Clarence Thomas's ass in to sit down. I just you know, folks, when you see story after story of just blatant disregard for the fucking law, blatant disregard for civil rights, blatant disregard for democracy, there's only so much, so much that people are willing to take

before they begin to push back. I believe that we are entering the find out period of the fuck around. I think that Republicans have gone a little bit too far, and I think that America is waking the fuck up. Here's the thing. I don't know if we're too late. I don't know if we've hit snooze one too many times. But what I do believe is that there is still some fighting spirit left in US as always, my friends, let me know on social who you are saying fuck

it too today. Hit me up on Twitter, on Instagram at D two cents D E E T W O C E N T S. And if you are a Patreon subscriber, hit me up email me tell me in the comment section who you are saying fuck it too this week y'all, I appreciate each and every single one of you again. Give yourselves a big hug, a pat on the bat, do something of joy to you this weekend so that we can hit the ground running again on Monday. That is it for me today, dear friends on woke f as always, Power to the people and

to all the people. Power, get woke and stay woke as fuck.
