Good morning, peeps, and welcome to WOKA app Daily with Meet Your Girl Daniel Moody recording from the Home Bunker. The folks, I got to start off on this woke Wednesday with a bit of anger. The Biden administration is making it really fucking difficult to get people activated to want to vote. The president's continuation on his Zionists beliefs, and the doubling and tripling down on the absolute fucking ineffectual war that Israel is waging in Gaza, killing twenty
thousand thousand civilians, most of them children and women. Because get this, folks, if you want to ensure the extinction of a population, then kill off its future, kill off the very people that allow for the creation of more people, women, children, right, and then round up all of the men or killed them. And the world is watching, and you can't tell people that there is reason for this kind of slaughter and death when we've been watching war Wag John in Ukraine
and haven't seen a quarter of this. It's been two
fucking months. This president just recently at the White House celebrating Hanukkah, doubled and tripled back down young people, black people, brown people, queer people progressives are watching this, and every single time that I put up a video that says to people we need to not vote for a person, but vote for democracy, Joe Biden comes out and opens up his mouth and makes me want to pull every single fucking hair out of my head because I'm like,
shut the fuck up at this goddamn point. If you have nothing that is useful or helpful to say in terms of a cease fire, stop sending fucking billions of our dollars overseas to kill people. I don't know what else to do. I am literally out of fucking loss. Right now. We're here in America getting ready to celebrate the holiday season and people are shopping and you know, I have my Christmas tree up and all of these things on the backdrop of death. It's such a surreal
way to exist right now. Are you scrawling through on your social media sites and it's like, oh look Christmas, Oh look, cheer, oh look, stories of newborn babies, decaying, mothers holding and crying with dead bodies wrapped. The way that we are being challenged to hang desperately onto our humanity and hope at this time is just I don't know. I don't know. We are in a challenging fucking time. I'm and I am not pretending that the choices that we have are at all the choices that we want.
I'm not. I'm not going to lie to you and tell you that I think that Joe Biden is the best president. Not right fucking now. I'm not going to lie to you and tell you that this country hasn't had a history of causing and committing genocide, aiding and abetting fucking murderers so long as they can extract as much oil as fucking possible, so long as they're continuing to use their workers for factories. Oh, we will outlaw certain things in this country, but we will absolutely shift
that business overseas. That we will absolutely do all sorts of things without calling it war because that would require right congressional approval. But you can drop a series of fucking bombs via drones, via secret things and say that, oh, it's about preserving democracy when you know that it's not. So many things folks are done in that name. And I know so when I say to people it isn't about voting for a person, it is about voting for democracy.
I know the fucking slide show that is going through your head saying, oh, really, the same government that hasn't been able to pass the George Floyd Act, the same government that has put in place these nine unelected black robes that robbed people with uteruses, women of their bodily autonomy. You know when you recognize that actually states have way more power than apparently the executive branch. But that's only so when air's a Democrat that's in the White House,
because otherwise it's a thiefdom. I feel so extraordinarily challenged and stretched and at a breaking point I do, I, like all of you, am trying really hard to stay focused, to remind myself that a Trump presidency would be the
end of this country as we know it. And when you were sitting here and realizing that this country is so imperfect that you know, on the wrong day, on the right street, with the wrong officer, I can become a hashtag right when you realize that if Donald Trump becomes president again, that that is it for people like me. That is it for freedom of the press, that is it for freedom full stop. I'm black and queer, child of immigrants, right that uses my platform to speak out
against injustice. Where the fuck do you think that somebody like me is going to go in a Trump administration where there are no guardrails and there are no brakes either to jail or fleeing. That is not hyperbolic. When you have a president that says a former president twice impeached ninety one indictments, that is talking about using his office and saying that he's going to be a dictator, and people always he telling the truth? Is he telling
the truth? When is he like, yes, this motherfucker lies on a regular basis, But he doesn't lie about any of the things that he wants to do. And he has a whole host of people that are cheering him on, that are chomping at the bit, that are doing their performative stances at these bullshit Republican debates because they are
auditioning for his regime, not an administration, a regime. When you listen to Donald Trump's attorneys talking about stopping it in a Trumpet administration, We're gonna stomp out, crush the opposition, and he's going to be quote unquote commander in chief and have the ability to weaponize our military against our own citizens. This isn't a fucking joke, but neither is sending billions of dollars to fund a fucking murder parade.
So I don't know. Folks like you come here for either community or some type of groundedness insanity, and I can give you the community, but I got to tell you that my sanity is being fucking pushed to its breaking point, to its limits right now. The comment sections are like a focus group for me. It's how I am able to kind of take the temperature of where
people are. And people are angry, people are disgusted, Things like genocide Joe are trending, and all I have to do right is try and convince people that Donald Trump will be the end of everything that they know. I know because I've said it many a time. Sometimes I think that things just need to burn the fuck down,
But not like this. M m no, because we can fight with a president that believes in the constitution and the rule of law, at least in this country, but we can't do that with somebody that is telling you that they are but one step, one election away from ushering in full blown fascism with a Supreme Court that they own, with hundreds of federal judges that they own, with white supremacists embedded in militarized police departments that are
more than willing to do this motherfucker's bidding, with white supremacist organizations that are gaining strength and momentum by the day. These people are activated and ready, and I'm here struggling to convince the same ones that this is not a gamble we want to take. We don't want to roll the dice in twenty twenty four and see what the
fuck happens. I don't because I like my life, I like my job, I love my family and my friends, and I want to continue in the best way that I can to try and perfect this very imperfect place. You don't do that with Hitler two point zero. It's a rap for generations if that happens. But I don't know, folks, I don't know how to convince people at this point right now, because I'm having a difficult time convincing myself because the grief, the despair, the depravity that we are
witnessing is a lot. But the only thing that keeps me moving right now is that I know that things can get worse, and I know that they want things to get worse. They want pain, they want death in this country. They're so craven for power that they will do anything, roll over anyone, destroy any semblance, any hint, any air of protests of progress. They will team roll over everything and have the power to do so. Because I got to remind you, the Holocaust was legal, Apartheid
was legal, slavery was legal. What is the saying, go something being legal is not about it being just. That is just about who has power at that moment. So if you think that Donald Trump gaining power, I'm putting somebody like a Stephen Miller in charge of the Department of Justice, a Tucker Carlson in charge of the State Department, a Steve Bannon in charge of education. Folks, you may roll your ryes and be like, oh, that'll never happen.
Donald Trump in twenty sixteen, who I actually don't believe he won that election. But I digress only one by seventy some thousand votes in some of the most in the six battleground states. It wasn't a fucking landslide. So with enough people then decide that I can't vote for Donald for Joe Biden, I can't vote for him. I can't bring myself to vote for this man. You don't need to cast a ballot for Donald Trump. You just
need to sit on your ass at home. And then for those smart asses that are just like, well, if we lose, it'll just be the DNC's problem, or quote unquote white people will get what they deserve. Motherfucker. All our fates are intertwined. We're not part in parceling this shit out, and there will be those who have it ten one hundred a million times worse than others, just
to hint the white people. So if you think that sitting out is going to quote unquote get them what they deserve, whatever comes their way will come your way ten times worse. I don't know, folks, I truly don't know. We're in, you know, a rock in a hard place. You know. I believe that we always have choices, and right now it's like we either choose to keep our head above water barely or we drown. Sometimes those are the choices. The choice is in between the rainbow and
the sprinkle. Do you know what I'm saying? That's you know, the reality. But I find right now that somehow people think that if we get rid of Joe Biden, who trust me. I wish Joe Biden had announced that he wasn't running, that he had over the last four years elevated and anointed a really healthy, thoughtful, powerful group of Democrats. I wish that Obama had done that during his time
as well. That what was coming out was like a choice between better or best, right, that there was a strong, tough, you know, capable pipeline of leaders right, and the decision was just you know, I don't know, they're all just so great, but that's not where the fuck we are so thinking that after Biden announces that he's running again, and then thinking that somehow miraculously, oh, we're going to change course and now put up somebody else that needs
to be introduced to the American people, and then convinced over the next twelve months that they can beat Donald Trump. Give up. Give it up, folks, it's not fucking happening. It's not so. While I, like you, wish that the choices were better, they are not so. The choices do we want to drown right or do we want to
keep our head above water? Do we want to live, to continue to fight and imagine a better world than the one that we are existing in right now, or do we just want to throw up our hands and let Donald Trump and his sycathans finish the hit job. Those are the fucking choices. I don't like them, but
that's what they are. So, as we in this country have the privilege to wind down this year, to take a few weeks off of work, to you know, connect with family and friends, as we are watching whole families be murdered crushed under bombs, recognize that we are still in a privileged place, which means that we still have a choice to either continue with our democracy, as imperfect
as it is, or give it up. That's it. So I pray that folks get rest, you know, but also pay attention to, Oh, I don't know, what just happened in Texas? The Texas Supreme Court sided with their fucking corrupt Attorney General saying that a woman who has a non viable pregnancy cannot have an abortion. So all of their oh we have these exceptions is a fucking sham and a lie. They don't give a fuck about life, they don't give a fuck about women, and they sure
as hell don't give a fuck about babies. And so if you want the shit that just happened in Texas. That is now having this woman flee to another state only to return back to most likely be prosecuted and end up in jail. You want that shit nationalized. Let's play games, Let's roll the dice, because they're not stopping at abortion. They're coming for contraception because you know what, they don't want women to have choices. It's either force
birth or jail or death. Those are going to be the choices for women and people with uteruses under a Trump administration and a Republican regime. All you have to do is look around. You don't even have to imagine the worst. Just look at Texas, look at Florida. You want that shit nationalized. Roll the dice. That is it for me today, dear friends, on this Woke Wednesday. As always, Power to the people and to all the people. Power, get woke and stay woke as fun
