Good morning, keep Send. Welcome to OOKF Daily with Meet your Girl Danielle Moody, recording from the Home Bunker. Folks, it is Friday, and thank god we have made it, because one another hellish week you had Republicans cheering in the Arizona House Chamber because they successfully blockaded the Democrats' ability to repeal a law from eighteen sixty four that outlaws abortion. But this is before let me think about the things that hadn't happened yet in eighteen sixty four.

Women having the right to vote, black people having freedom, Arizona being a state, just to name a few. And so here you have video of these assholes, like I have run out of niceties, not like I've ever used them, but there are no euphemisms for these people, these white men who want to go back to eighteen sixty four.

They want to go back to a time when women had no rights, no opportunities, black people had no freedom, and they ruled everything right and all they had to do was fight amongst themselves because everything else was quote unquote under control. And so that's what I want folks to understand on this good Friday, is that that is

the plan. The plan has been operationalized. The plan is moving forward exactly how Republicans have wanted it to move forward, following the fall of Roe v. Wade, in the fall of affirmative action, and now the fall of diversity, equity

and inclusion and the fall of critical thought. Is that regardless of you know, Ron DeSantis now in Florida deciding that, oh, the book ban has gone too far because now the book band that he instated as part of his overarching culture war, that he used as his trampoline into the Republican primary which totally literally fell flat, now he wants to do away with it because, oh, well, the Bible should not only be in schools, but apparently be taught

in schools. So you see that there are no limits to the absurdity, to the foolishness, to the fuckery that these people will try and wield over the rest of us. And my question is, you know, because God, friends, when are people going to get it? I know that you guys get it right, and I hope that the people around you, your friends, your colleagues, you know, your community.

I hope they get it. But if they don't, what I need from each and every member of the wok F community is to be an ambassador not of this show, not of me, but to democracy, to paint the picture in the way that people in your sphere, in your universe, on your platforms and your network will understand the stakes. Because I've tried, friends, I've tried in so many different ways, and I will can continue trying over the next By the way, two hundred days until the election, two hun

days we have left. And when I think about this, and I think about two hundred days roughly six and a half months until potentially Donald Trump, a dictator, a fascist, a racist, a misogynist, a xenophobe, a homophobe, a transphobe, anti Islamophobic, until this man could potentially become the last president of the United States till A man who told people during the COVID nineteen pandemic to inject bleach. People who he said were Nazis marching with tiki torches were

good people. A man that instituted a Muslim ban, a man that separated children from their families and put them

in cages. A man that sent lawyers from his administration to the courts to fight for the right to not provide basic hygiene products for the people that he was putting in basically encampments, who were seeking nothing other than protection in the area of asylum, because America has, over the course of decades destabilized their countries by putting in leaders that would only benefit the United States that the people did not want, by turning our backs on the

drugs and guns that we were trading, right because I mean, there's no other way to say that. I did an interview on my other podcast, The New Abnormal, talking about well, how would we fix our immigration system, and it was like, well, here's an idea. America could stop shipping the guns that the cartels are using to kill a ton of people

and terrorize them. We could stop doing that. That could put a dent, you know, in terms of creating safer environments, maybe not supply the very weapons that are being used to commit the horrific crimes that people are fleeing from. It's just a thought, you know, crazy idea. But I look at this, a man, Donald Trump, that is responsible for the repeal of Roe v. Wade, that celebrates it because he appointed three conservative judges who he knew would

not abide by precedent or any rule of law. For that matter and just do away with our rights in this country bit by bit, which is what they're doing in three states right now. This week, the Supreme Court decided that you do not have the right to mass protest. In the same very same week, they decided that those that did try to overturn our free and fair election on January sixth can't be charged with obstruction. And Clarence Thomas, who should have recused himself from said case, has said,

people obstruct, you know, government proceedings all the time. I

have never seen the law applied in this type of manner. Interesting, So you have seen then the Capitol building storm than a gallows built, and the Vice President of the United States having to take cover but afraid to get into his caravan because he's not sure who is directing that caravan and where it will go to, because he recognized in that moment that he no longer had power, but Donald Trump did, and that Donald Trump told his people to come and kill him. We just brush over that.

The fact that we are in a fifty to fifty toss up the fact that Joe Biden, even though I do not believe in polls this far out, is not obliterating Donald Trump with sixty seventy eighty percent of those that are polled saying that Donald Trump is nowhere near their radar and needs to be nowhere near the Oval office is insane. It is absolutely insane. But that's where we are. And so I just you know, two hundred days, friends, two hundred days, and God help us, because I don't know.

People ask me, you know, when they see me out, Danielle, what do you think the chances are? Should I be as worried as I am? And I want to tell people I do, I genuinely do. I want to say it's going to be okay and believe it. I want to say, you know, it's a lot of media hysterics, but don't worry. This is really just for ratings, because at the end of the day, America got this and we're not going to let a fascist, misogynistic, racist dictator

take over our country. But friends, I can't say that because if I did say that, I would be lying. So here we are, and it is terrifying. And so you are justified. You know, as we talked about earlier this week with our friend doctor Jonathan Metzel, that you are justified in your anxiety You're justified in your anger. You're justified in all of the ways that you are feeling, because I honestly can't point to an instance and say

people are being hyperbolic. It's not that bad. Just this week, another story for you that may not have made it you to your headlines. Donald Trump, let me take a breath. Donald Trump has directed the Republican National Committee to collect a five percent fee from down ballot Republican candidates who use his name or photos. He wants five percent of what they raised. What does that sound like to you? Does that sound like a mob boss? You got a

tied to the church of Donald Trump? Five percent of your earnings if in fact you mention his name and use a picture of him. By the way, also the RNC is no longer actually fundraising or utilizing their money for down ballot candidates. So if you are a Republican running right for anything, you are receiving zero goosegg nothing from the RNC. But what the RNC wants in return, which is by the way, run by Trump's organized crime family,

is that you get five percent. And also the joke is that in an article that was written by Politico that the RNC said at minimum five percent, but basically they would look kindly as would form or twice impeach disgrace President of the United States Donald Trump if it was more than five percent. So it's not enough right for him to grift off of his fans and his constituents. No, no, it's not going to stop there. Now he's squeezing the wallets of those other people who are choosing to run

for office. And I'm just like, and the funny thing is, folks like, while this is very clear mob tactics, right like, you see this shit in every movie where either a gang, the organized mob, a drug cartel has people that are

living in their communities running businesses. But in order for those businesses to stay in business, that you need to provide twenty thirty forty percent of your profits two said mob boss said gang right like, this is how these motherfuckers operate, and it's why people end up fleeing because there's no real deal in place, Like the number their share will always go up, and they'll say, you'll just be lucky to be in business, right that you are

essentially a stooge four and working for the boss. So tell me how what Donald Trump is doing with the RNC any different than what John Gotti has done. Tell me how it's any different. It's not like this, this line of thinking is directly out of the fucking Sopranos or New Jack City. There's a good throwback for you. So I'm like, how much clearer does Donald Trump have to be in saying I'm the only show in town.

You owe me for even showing up. And the funny thing is is that the money that he will receive, it's not like it is going back to communities. It's not like it's going back to the voters. It's not like it's even going to operate his campaign. It's going to pay his legal fees. He's looking every nook and cranny, turning over the couches to get change, literally grabbing these Republicans by the ankles, turning them upside down and shaking

them out for everything that they have. And these idiots as they're being you know, shaken up upside down, got a grin on their face. So I'm like, he couldn't have picked a better group of fucking idiots because they're willingly right. What did Lyndon B. Johnson say? If you can tell the poorest white man that he's better than the best black man. You don't even have to lie to him. He'll like, you don't even have to pick his pockets because he'll give you his money for free.

Where's the lie? And I know that I butchered that quote, but tell me where's the lie? Donald Trump has convinced forty percent of the population that, regardless of their economic standing or where they are, that they are better than any coastal elite, any successful black or brown person, that this country is theirs. It doesn't matter that they don't have the education level, the capacity, the business acumen, nothing.

We're going to strip away, We promise you, that will strip away all of those laws that saw your rightful place as white people in America slowly move and recede to the back. We're going to reinstate you to where you need to be. Now, that's never going to happen, right, meaning that A this country was never theirs. B. They

don't have the skills to even be competitive. When you look at these red states and you look at where their education numbers are, and you look at where their joblessness numbers are, and you look at where their healthcare numbers are like Jonathan had said, dying of whiteness. They are willing to do it. It doesn't matter. It's not about what Donald Trump will provide for them, because he's not providing shit. It is about what he will take

away from everyone else. That's what they're cheering on. And so when we on the other side are trying to understand quote unquote the economic anxiety or you know, the pain that white people are in, the pain is racism. That's the pain that they're in. It's the fact that they have voted for politicians that sent their jobs overseas, that the very people that they are keeping in power ensured that their factories, their public school system would all crumble.

Because at the end of the day, it is about the bottom line. But what Republicans were able to do is say, oh no, no, your jobs went overseas, not because we want cheap labor that we don't have to pay health care for over time, for have to deal with those pesky things called worker rights. It's democrats faults. You lost your job because of that, you know, migrant that they let into the country. So if we get rid of all of them, then you'll get your job back.

That's not how the fuck it works. And also just mind you, if in fact you went to the source, you know, the companies and the businesses that were actually hiring migrants illegally and abusing them with low pay and whatever else, if you went after them and they received the kind of hefty fines that they should receive, then they would be forced not to hire again, solving another problem. But we don't go after the companies that are hiring people.

We go after the people that are seeking a better life, because that's how we work. You know, the list goes on. I could tell you about, you know, the governor of Mississippi that is re you know, dedicated April to being Confederate Heritage Month, because America loves to celebrate the Confederacy. You know, you name streets and schools and buildings all after people who fought and lost their lives because they couldn't see people as human beings. But that's what we

celebrate here. And we wonder why we haven't made any progress. And I don't want to say, oh, we haven't made any progress. Obviously we have. But when you're able to so easily manipulate white people because of their racism, and you know, Tony Morrison said it in an interview when asked, once, you know, will racism ever go away, and she said when white people no longer deem it as necessary. But right now it is a tool. Racism is a tool

that helps them get to their bottom line. So so long as you can always pull it out, they'll continue to use it because there is always going to be a willing constituency that is ready to hear about all the ways, not that their lives are going to be made better, but how the people that they hate lives are going to be made worse. And so long as that can continue to be a you know, golden ticket,

they'll continue punching it. It's wild, folks. You know, this grifting ass Supreme Court, this crime family that is threatening witnesses in his New York case, and these judges are waiting one, two, three weeks to hold hearings on the fact that you know, by the time that they issue the gag order and that word leaves their mouths and enter into Trump's ears, He's already violated the gag order

multiple times over. So until you decide to start treating and speaking about Donald Trump as a mob boss and handling him the same way you would a mobster that is on trial. We're not going to get anywhere, and I fear that people are going to lose their lives right because we know that Donald Trump's other mode of operation on top of racism is weaponizing the truth and you know, getting his team in line to do his

dirty work like he did on January sixth. The thing that gets me in closing today, Friends, with two hundred days to go until the election, is that win or lose, the months following the election are going to be the most dangerous time in America because if Donald Trump loses, they're not going to accept the losses, making January sixth

just look like a high school dress rehearsal. If Donald Trump wins, Mayhem So you know, at least if he loses, Biden is still in control of the military, still in control of our agencies, and hopefully we would be able to push past an eruption of violence. But if Donald Trump wins, Friends, all bets are off. That is it for me today, Dear friends, on woke a f as always, Power to the people and to all the people. Power, get woke and stay woke as fuck.
