love affair with supporting and celebrating violence. Um. I want to take this week and what is happening in this country right now. You know, sometimes it strikes me how fast America has devolved it. You know, I remember somebody recently posted on Twitter a tweet that I put out right after the election, and it was a clip of me on woke af going off about the fifty three percent of white women that voted for Donald Trump against

someone that looked like them. And because of that, because of their allegiance to patriarchy and white supremacy, we are in this hell hole, this cesspool, this democracy light, which by the end of twenty twenty two, when that is our final free and fair election, will be democracy less. It won't be a democracy, it'll be some hybrid sham bullshit that we live in. Maybe part theocracy being is how it's white evangelical Christians who are getting everything that

they fuck want first. It's rov Wade right, if you were paying attention to what is happening at the Supreme Court right now and listening listening to what the justices Trump justices on the Supreme Court have said about the Mississippi fifteen week band that undermines, guts, destroys rov Wade, a law that has been on the books for damn near fifty fucking years. For fifty years, Republicans have had a long playbook that they have been using fifty years.

It has been their desire to once again take over the control of people's uteruses, right to control women and how, when,

if where they decide to have children. Amy Covid fucking Barrett said after the two hours of debate said during the two hours of opening arguments for this case that she doesn't understand why we even need Casey or Roe v. Wade, because there are safe havens all over the country, So people should be forced to into giving birth because there are adoptions that take place, because we don't even do a good job of dealing with our current foster care

system in this country. But yeah, we should force women to go through nine months of pregnancy that they don't want. What in the hopes that because you are forcing them that they will change their minds? Or oh, look at what a delight. We'll give it to this loving couple, so long as they're not gay, so long as they're not queer. Right. It makes me fucking sick that we are here, we are in this state of what is soon to be disrepair. I mean, I don't think that

we are going to get to the other side. I don't think that we are ever going to be safe. I don't know how to express this without sounding alarmists, But when I shared the tweet after the election, I was so fucking angry because all I could hear in my mind were the comments about Hillary Clinton's emails, and you know about I don't like her. You know, there's

just something about her I don't like. Yes, she's a strong, powerful, thoughtful, brilliant woman, right who America refused to fucking listen to When she told you exactly who the fuck these people were, She said that they were deplora. She said that they were not to be trusted. She said that Donald Trump was Putin's puppet. She said that the Supreme Court would fall. She wasn't a fucking oracle, but she knew what Republicans are up to because she has known what they have

been up to. It's everyone else that's looking around going, oh my god, acting fucking shocked. You're shocked that there is an attempt and not an attempt, because you see, an attempt means that it could or could not happen. Rophie Wade is fucking gone. And it was gone the moment that Donald Trump became President of the United States. And you see, but Democrats never have conversations about the courts. They never talk about how important they are, why we

need to be paying attention. But you know who has been talking about the courts. Who has been paying attention for the last fifty fucking years, White Evangelical Christians, the Federalist fucking Society, which is where all of Donald Trump's little minions came from. Mitch McConnell knew how fucking important the courts were, right, That's why he rammed through three hundred federal judges, didn't put out any legislation worth a

damn for the American people. Right, No, you can't say to me what it was that was Trump's signature achievement, Right, What was the policy that he put out that bettered us? No, but his legacy, you see, is going to last for fucking generations. And that is exactly what Republicans wanted. That was always the plan. They didn't need the smartest guy in the room. They needed the one with the biggest fucking mouth, the one that knew how to manipulate the media.

You feed them all your lies, and then the people that actually know how to get things done, like Mitch McConnell, then you have them do all of the political maneuvers, chip away little by little by little, and then you wake up and we will be the only industrialized country in the world that has the audacity to go around and talk about women's rights, and we won't have access to abortion. And if you think for a second that they are going to stop there, then you are not

fucking paying attention. They are going after contraception next because they want women locked up. Remember when they were screaming lock her up, lock her up, locker up, talking about

Hillary Clinton. They weren't just talking about Hillary Clinton. They were talking about any woman who had the audacity to want to have power over her own body, the power to speak out, the power to decide where I work, how I work, if I work, because that's what's Being able to control your reproduction allows you the freedom to do that. Fifty year old women in this country had never lived in a country that didn't have access to abortion.

Now their daughters won't. I want you to think about this, because you see, folks these days seem to get really caught up in their fucking siloed issues and siloed things, And I'm just like, do you not see that the path to authoritarianism, the path to minority rule, has already been paved. The Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act. We are here right now with states after state after

state creating voter suppression laws. Now I hear that the number is well over four hundred and voter suppression laws. The Supreme Court made that happen, how by gutting preclarance, right by not having oversight. Oh, we've come so far, they said, so we'll take away your rights. Then you have Donald Trump come in and spread the big lie and all of his minions spreading the big lie. They're just checking off the boxes. So now abortion gone, voting

rights gone. Two people that have the power to ensure to enshrine our protections into law, to enshrine and safeguard our democracy, Joe Manchion and Kirsten Cinema. No, they'd rather make love to the filibuster then abolish an archaic and archaic practice that is now going to be the cause of our demos. You see, when they put up the headstone that is American democracy succumbed to the filibuster, that will be the cause of death, and they will have

been the executioners. But you know, the media won't tell that story. They'll blame black and brown people for not risking their lives to come out because you know, the next up, the next thing that we will have because now you know, we allow people to strap up with R fifteen rifles and just you know, protect property. Now they'll strap up and they'll protect the polls. And so the media will then blame the black and brown people for not wanting to come out and vote because you know,

they don't want to die. But they won't have a conversation about how we got here and whose fault it really is, because it's so much easier to make the people who are oppressed the problem rather than pointing the spotlight on the oppressor. America was done in twenty sixteen. That's when the coup fucking started, And if you really want to think about it, it was really in early two thousand. I'll take you back to Bush v. Gore. I take you back to the Supreme Court deciding the election.

I take you then to the rage that filled in white people having to call a black man there president, and the plans, the wheels that began churning, the plans that would be concocted to make certain that that would never happen again. And so to show you how much power whiteness has, we're going to pick the stupidest, the most racist, the most misogynistic piece of shit, just to show you that we can do anything whenever we want,

however we want. So here we are. And the funny thing is is that people always loved to, you know, say that the sky is falling. The sky is falling, right, but only every four years. There's been no long term plan for what one does when you realize that one of the political parties in this country has turned into a full fledged fucking white supremacists, white Evangelical Christian violent cult.

But you see, we've been in this now for a couple of years and pretending that we still have two political parties, pretending that you know, Republicans are just you know, mucking things up. No, they are on a search and destroy shin for the entirety of America. Just think about where we are right now. Over the summer, how many fucking videos did you see of these eighth shit fucking crazy white parents threatening to harm kill school officials for

putting in mask mandates. It's gonna traumatize their kids. They said, it's abuse. They said, you know, protecting your child from a virus that is killed well over seven hundred thousand fucking people in the United States and millions around the globe. They're protesting, flipping tables, protesting in front of fucking hospitals. This week we had our twenty eighth fucking school shooting.

School's been in session for four months, kids have been back in school for four months, and there are twenty eight shootings, the latest one in Michigan. The fourth victim died this week in the hospital. He was seventeen. The boy who killed him fifteen. His dad had only bought the gun four days prior Black Friday sale, and then he took it to school, walked around and got off thirty rounds in ten minutes and had many more to go. They want to say, Oh, the kid was bullied. I

don't give a fuck. Why was that gun in the home so easy to fucking access. You want to have guns, fine, have your fucking guns. I don't give a fuck. Lock them up, have some type of safety measures. If your kid is able to get access to that gun in your home, then you two should be standing fucking trial. This is bullshit. America is the only fucking place where we have fucking gun drills at schools. We are creating bulletproof backpacks. We're listening to reporters. Asked the sheriff, Well,

should we have put in metal detectors. Yes, let's turn our schools into fucking prisons to keep it's safe, but not go after exactly what it is that is making them unsafe. No, let's put more guns in schools. Let's put in metal detectors. Let's send every kid a fucking bulletproof backpack. Let's have them do drills. Maybe we should turn gym class into army class so that they can learn how to crawl on their bellies right, dig a

fucking ditch so that they can hide in that. Instead of taking away the fucking guns, putting together actual policy and safety measures so that our children are safe in These same stupid motherfuckers who want to get on the Senate floor talking about the sanctity of life, They don't know dick about anybody's sanctity of life. You care about cells, a collection of cells in a fucking uterus, not the kids that were hiding under their fucking desks with masks on,

that have lost now four of their classmates. Because that's just what it's like to be a teenager in America. The possibility that you know when you leave on the school bus, or you're walking, or you get off the subway, that you know you could be shot dead in your fucking classroom. That's what we have normalized here. Oh what about the children. We protest because you don't want your

kids reading fucking Tony Morrison. But I don't see any fucking protests about sending your kids to school and a fucking hail of bullets and the fact that they have to do gun patrol drills. But you want to talk to me about what about the children and the sanctity of fucking life. Meanwhile, the three justices that Trump appointed have one hundred percent writing with the NRA, and they want to dictate to me about life. The madness that

we are living in right now. It is absurd to me how we have turned into a country that is swimming in fucking stupidity, drowning in it. The hypocrisy is astounding to me. You want to lecture people on life, but advocating that they take off their mass, advocating against vaccines, advocating to be pro virus and pro gun, and then you want to be the same party to lecture me on life. How does that work? How is it that Democrats can't find a way to say the fucking loud

part out right, like say it. They're saying it out loud. It's not as if Republicans are hiding. That's the thing you don't on democracy Ish with my friend Washahat, he said, it's like the entire party is just a cast of bond villains. And he's like, you know how in Bond movies, like they announce exactly what it is that they're going to be doing and why they're doing it and how they're gonna do it. But we gotta wait for two hours, right for James Bond to spring into action. It's the

same shit, except there is no Bond, right. There's just outrage and debate. There's just political performance but not real action. The fact that this school shooting in Michigan wasn't even the fucking top story tells you where we are right now. There are multiple states, and we have a federal judge that just stopped Biden's vaccine mandate. Twenty five percent of this country is controlling the other seventy five percent. And I am telling you this is not ending without war.

It isn't. Because if you think that Republicans are going to keep pushing and pushing and pushing, because sometimes apparently people got to feel extreme pain and extreme loss before they spring into action. But I mark my words because I don't want to be right. I don't want to see blood in the streets. I don't want to participate in a fucking civil war. But you tell me where you think this is going. It has taken what six years, six seven years at this point now for a country

that is hundreds of years old to tank. Everything that you thought was written into stone or written into the Constitution became up for grabs when Donald Trump became president and appointed three justices, three hundred federal judges, got an entire party to spread a lie, an entire cable network that supports and amplifies their messaging, and we're all still sitting around debating about whether or not Republicans care about

this country? Are you fucking dumb? You know? I blame the mainstream media so fucking much because I'm like, you all still want to p ten that there is neutrality, right, that you can't just say what the fuck is going on? This is why I do this show, because I'm like, am I the only one who is just gonna say it like it is and not pretend right for the ratings, what for the sponsors that all is well, it's fucking not.

All is shit right now? And oh, by the way, I'm Nicron already in the United States, But of course it would be because guess what else doesn't work? Fucking travel bands? But yeah, let's continue to do that, but only for the black and brown countries. No one else. America runs on racism, stupidity, and faux outrage, outrage over all of the wrong fucking things. Because I got to tell you that if I was a parent right now, I would be hemming up every fucking Senator because you see,

the House already passed gun control laws. It's not going to get done in the Senate because of mansion in cinema. I just you know, some days I just look around and I am like out fucking done. And this is one of those days where I'm like, the week is not even over yet. We've lost abortion, kids have been murdered.

We have a new variant because the greed of wealthy nations refusing to lift waivers that would allow lower income nations the ability to manufacture their vaccines, to vaccinate their people and not wait on fucking donations and money that never comes. Oh, it's so wonderful to do these fucking g seven summits and all of these conversations and to take pictures and oh, let's give the appearance that all is well when we know that it isn't. It's like I feel like we are living in the Truman Show.

Everything is made up. Everything is bullshit. Those summits. What the fuck do they do because climate change is raging out of control? I haven't seen any real measures taken. Oh, we'll take those steps in twenty thirty, and then we'll get to twenty thirty and we'll kick the can further down the road. If in fact the world hasn't fucking imploded by them. Everything that you see playing out on the micro level, we have experienced. Right. It's the greed,

the hunger for power that runs everything. Why aren't South why is in South Africa and African nations? Why aren't they at the same level of vaccination rate? Right? Why when India and South Africa petitioned to have the trips waiver to get rid of the intellectual property rights so that it could be manufactured, how how does that get pushed off? Oh, so that Fiser can make more billions, so that Murderna could make more billions, and then they

do this handshake deal the corporations with the governments. It's all about money. It's not about this sentity of life. We could give a fuck, Like what if Republicans need to do. They need to just come out and say we want to control you we need right the G seven that says we don't give a fuck about poor nations, right like, you just need them to say those things

because their actions don't tell you what is true. You know, out on my walk yesterday, I was talking with one of my friends, a gentleman that you know sits at the pier and you know, just takes in the sunshine, the breeze, smiles, waves to people, and he said to me, you know, Danielle, I don't think things are going to get any better, and you just really have to enjoy life. You have to find a way to enjoy life. And

that is in all honesty my message. It's like when you look at everything that has taken place and it feels I mean, some days I actually feel like I can't breathe. And it's why I meditate so that I can practice and focus taking in deep breaths. Because when I watched the news, when I read what is happening, when I learned that the only reason we didn't have school shootings in twenty twenty is because of a global health pandemic. That's the only reason it wasn't because our

government took any action to keep us safe. Wasn't because the people that we elect to represent us did anything to protect the children. That are only good as political props, but in actuality you could give a fuck. Why don't they give that kid that shut up his school the Congressional Gold Medal? What's the difference between him and Kyle Rittenhouse. I don't see the difference. We want to say, oh, he was bullied. Okay, there are plenty of kids that

are fucking bullied that don't take out fucking guns. What is its schools can do? Schools can't do anything right. We are asking schools to do too fucking much. What are our politicians doing? What is our president doing? Stop saying that teachers need to be armed or teachers need to do this in schools need to do that? What the fuck are politicians doing? Nothing? You have to look for the joy you do. You have to find it.

You know. That is my hope that after every single episode that folks listen to that, then you're like, Okay, I know what's going on. Now, I'm going on a walk, I'm going to garden, I'm gonna bake a pie. I'm going to do something to counterbalance the fuckery that we are in because folks, I'm gonna be. I don't think this is getting better. It actually is getting progressively worse. And do you know what terrifies me? This is what's happening when Democrats are in power. This is what winning

looks like. We have the House, we have the Senate, we have the White House, and now we're recognizing there aren't coequal branches of government because they have the fucking judiciary. You know. The other thing that I want people to recognize too is Roby Waite is dead. There is gonna be there's no qualms about that. You were going to wait until June for the actual decision, but it's done

right fifty years. What do you think is next? Because if you think that striking down school segregation isn't up for grabs, if you think that, you know, same sex marriage isn't up for grabs. If you think that anything anything, any law isn't up for grabs, isn't on their hot ticket list, you aren't paying attention. You know, people think that their money, you know, is going to be able to protect them. And I joke and I say, you know, why are all the billionaires racing to get off of

this planet? Because they know what's done right, and they have the means to go, you know, forward, someplace else. It's the rest of us, right, that are going to be in fucking lyseum. It's the rest of us that are fucked because the world has just become so dangerous. If you are not white, if you are not straight, if you are not Christian, if you are not male,

the world America is an incredibly dangerous place. We are a powder keg one next, the next protest, the next spark, the next thing that comes up will be the what does us in Kyle rittenhouse walks after murdering two people and wounding a third, what do you think is going to happen at the next protests the next march? They're

going to come locked and loaded. They've already told us that Lauren Bobert was on Steve Bannon's show, because you know, Steve Bannon is just you know, free and clear, walking around waiting on his trial while continuing to spread lies and promote hate and division and just relishing in the destruction. And she said on his show that we're not the fringe, right, That's what people had hoped that bow Bird and Taylor Green Holloway and ghosts are that these people were just

the fringe of the Republican Party. They are not. They are so integral to the Republican Party that leadership is afraid to admonish them. And they, you know, let me not even say that they're afraid to admonish them. They're not afraid. They don't want to. They know that this is the future. They love their violence, they love their guns, they love their threats and their terror. They're terrorists. That's what it means to be a terrorist, to provoke terror

in people. What do you think that Marjorie Taylor Green, what was the decision behind her sunglass photo with the AR fifteen and the faces of her colleagues behind her. What do you think Gosar was intending to do with that anime violent video of him murdering his colleague. We don't protect children in this country. We don't protect women.

I keep saying, you know, well, maybe maybe things will change if you know, one of the members of Congresses is killed, But then I realized they wouldn't give a fuck. Seven hundred thousand Americans are dead, and you have governors fighting against vaccine mandates, right, you have them wanting to fight to give an internship to Immerse. Where do you think that this is headed? It is headed towards violence, It is headed towards one or all of the members

of color that they are obsessed with being killed. And then the media will question and say, you think it was the rhetoric that did it? And let's waste airtime and breath debating that who's responsible? This is an outrage, and then we'll all go back to doing what we were doing before. There is no stopping the crazy train

unless you derail it and burn it down. And I don't think that Republicans would care them because, as they say, they'd get to use their guns, create division, flood the country with guns, flood the country with white supremacist judges, stack the Supreme Court, and you got apartheid in America, you got the new Jim Crow. You got nineteen fifty three.

As Wajahat so poignantly said on Democracy Ish when he said, you see, it's really that they want to go back to nineteen fifty three, I said, why why nineteen fifty three? That's an obscure year because that was the year right before Board versus the Board of Education was decided, and we began to see increased white rage violence right and then, wasn't the spark of white lash and violence in this country wasn't from abortion. Abortion is a low hanging fruit

for the Supreme Court. These people want to go back back to when there are no consequences, because there really are no consequences now, but they want to make it explicit so that people like me, like you will be put in their place. People like us will be terrorized, afraid to leave our homes. We're not even safe in our homes. This is an incredibly scary time. It's an incredibly scary time. And I think you know because my

sister lives abroad. She hears and sees the news through you know, global eyes, and she's just like people looking at America right now, like, God, damn, glad I'm not there. I remember a vacation that I took right before the pandemic, and it was a family trip to Portugal, and the boat guide was saying to us, man, America, huh, guys, aren't in great shape. America used to be the envy of the world. Whether or not it should have been is a whole other story and a whole other episode,

but it was the beacon. What the democracy that people aspire to, the possibility that people aspire to not anymore? Like, you have to think about how bad things have to be in your country for you to fulle hear and think you'll be safe. But soon America will look like it's run by the Mexican drug cartel. Right, it's run by the white supremacist cartel. Right, And what are they pushing drugs? No US hatred theocracy? Right, I'm scared. That's

the truth. And it's a terrifying place to be where you are looking around and you're feeling powerless, You're feeling like, is there a way to stop this? Like what does that look like? At the end of the day, it doesn't fucking matter, not if we don't have a democracy, not if twenty twenty two is going to be our last free and fair election because we already know what the fuck is going to go down in twenty twenty four, and frankly, right twenty twenty two, just a little will be a tester.

Let's see how many of these elections that are taking place in the midtim are contested. Let them get their wheels in motion. That's what they're gonna do. So when you're looking around and you're just like yo, if climate change doesn't get us, if omikron doesn't get us, if fucking gun violence doesn't get us, if white supremacists don't get us, right like you feel like you're being attacked

on all sides. The first right of amikron is now discovered in California, certain it'll be around the country before we know it. Why because twenty five percent of the country isn't gonna get fucking vaccinated, and they're going to be the ones to die. And that's what's hysterical, Like I'm not gonna die. I'm vaccinated and boosted. But your Republican leaders they're telling you don't get vaccinated, don't wear a mask. Ah. Amikron is just a made up invention

by Democrats. Yeah, and I guess the whole world is in on it too. They want to talk about the sanctity of fucking life. Give me a break. That is laughable. I always wondered when I was in school and I would see the pictures of lynchings in the history book, and you'd see these smiling white faces, the legs of a black body dangling behind them, clothes tattered, and blood everywhere as they hang and swing. And I would look and I would say, who would get dressed up for that?

Who are these people who would pose for a photo? What kind of animals are these? Well? Look to your left, to look to your right. We're living with their descendants. I want to save your children from you know, the truth, but not guns. I want to save your kids from you know, the safety of wearing a mask. But let's just start sending kids to school with guns. That'll be the next thing. God damn this countryman, it is fucking exhausting, fucking exhausting. That is it for me today, friends, I
