You know, I have been replaying, as I'm certain many of you have been doing over the past year, replaying the last several years in your head, particularly our push and our fight on this show, on other places, on other shows, in writing that I did to get people out to vote, to get people to recognize the urgency of the times that we were living in, and that Donald Trump and the Republican Party or a

dangerous cult. They are a dangerous cult that every day has worked to weaponize health pandemic, work to weaponize fear, have done everything within their power and outside of their

power to destroy America. You know, for the last couple of years, the picture has been so clearly painted as to who these people are and what they want, and yet the mainstream media continues to act utterly surprised, like they are completely caught off guard by what it is that Republicans are aiming for, and they are telling you every day out loud. You're at Kevin McCarthy, that's spineless, translucent jellyfish. Get up in a pressor yesterday where he

lambasted once again their favorite pinata. Nancy Pelosi talked about playing politics where I'm like, bitch, where are you like? I can't stand the fucking term playing politics. Politics is a fucking game like everything else. And that's what you're doing, Kevin McCarthy, when you came out on the floor scared shitless right following the one six insurrections, talking about how this lands squarely on the shoulders of Donald Trump, only to run sniveling to kiss his rain down in Mara Lago.

But a few weeks later, you are playing politics when you decide right that the Marjorie Taylor Greens and the Lauren Baubert's are going to be the anointed ones of your caucus of your party, right, that you are not going to condemn any actions that promote violence or xenophobia or racism, or in fact spread lies about a deadly health pandemic where our hospitals are once again at their breaking point, which I will talk about the Biden administration

deciding to deploy medical army personnel to six states in order to battle against the search. But you are a part of a caucus, Dear sir, you are the leader. And I put that in fucking air quotes because I don't know where he's leading anybody except to a buffet at Mara Lago, A leader of a caucus that has been perpetuating lies. Right, we keep talking about how these people are going to be remember it in history books that will most likely be burned because that's the environment

that we are living in. It is so dark where we are right now that I don't know which way we walk in or run in in order to get out. But I can tell you that the end of this week had me thinking to myself self, what the fuck did I waste so much energy for? Why did I tell people, my family, friends, you all listeners out there, go vote? Register people. This is important. Your life depends on it. Only to have this administration cut short a year into its four year term, not by Republicans, no

by members of their own party, by traders. You know who those traders are, the ones that are outspoken. Kirsten Cinema and Joe Mansion. Kirsten Cinema found it appropriate to give a press conference ahead of the President's arrival to Capital Hill, which, let me just tell you, I know that we are so far away from normal times, but let me tell you that in no space and time

is that ever appropriate. You have often heard of people after they meet with the president, after the President addresses them, to then speak out on what it is that was said and how they feel about it, but never before unless you were a member of the other party. So I want people to get a big picture as to who Kursten Cinema and Joe Mansion are. Let's stop referring to them as moderates because they or not. They are obstructionists.

They are political insurrectionist. Right. They may not have stormed the Capital, right, they may not have gotten zip ties and build gallows, but they absolutely with their actions and with their words, are doing so every single day. As we lead into midterms with Democrats having nothing to fucking show for it, the President's agenda is finished. There will be no build back better And when progressives said, do not decouple the Infrastructure building bill from Build Back Better,

because we're never going to get them past that. They need to stay together. But no, the President wanted a quick win. Oh, Joe Mansion is operating in good faith. I said this this week on Woke Wednesday. How many times does somebody have to spit in your face to call you everything but a son of God for you to recognize that that person is not your friend, that

they are your enemy. How many times is Joe Mansion gonna have a gaggle of reporters around him spewing some bullshit about tax credit, spewing some bullshit about process before people call him what he is, a fucking liar and a treasonous piece of shit. I want Joe Mansion and Kirsten Cinema shunned. I want them stripped of their committee assignments. I want people to go after their biggest donors and start to refer to those individual donors or those corporations

as racist as Bill Connor two point zero. I tweeted this yesterday. My three step plan, I said, if I were in power, I would be running an all out

media onslaught against Joe Man in Kursten cinema. They would not be able to walk into a fucking store, They would not be able to walk into a bathroom stall, They would not be able to go anywhere without hearing the cries and the screams of people telling them that they are racist, telling them that they are killing our democracy, telling them that they are both putting the nail in the coffin of America. Then I would go after Like I said, they're donors and the donor class, and much

in the same way that Color have changed. A couple of years ago, uncovered the right wing secret weapon of alec Right that was doing all of putting together the backdoor policies that then were magically appearing in state and local levels, voter suppression laws right thinking that they are going to buy people off right by day and then come and steal their vote by night. That is a quote from the president of Color of Changer, Sean Robinson. And I say this because it is not enough to

just go after these people. It's not enough to just send off some hot tweets. You have got to hit them where they hurt. And the only place that they care about is their bank accounts. They don't give a fuck. This is why I said, and I'll say it again, Joe Mansion and Carson Cinema are political prostitutes. And then people wanted to come from me, oh, don't talk about sex workers. Shut the fuck up, because you know, good god damn well, that ain't nobody trying to degrade anybody's

sex work, which is why I said political prostitutes. They are turning tricks for those that are giving them the most money. What do you call that if not a whore. So I'm hired right of the whole carrot approach of this administration and other Democrats in leadership referring to these

people as your friend. They are not. You are literally sleeping with the enemy right now, and it's about time that everybody take the fucking kid gloves off, Everybody throw out their rose colored glasses and pay attention to what is happening. This administration is dead in the fucking water. They might as well be fucking hall monitors right now. In democracy, they're just there to have the illusion that there is some type of order and protection, but they

really have no fucking authority. When the President of the free fucking World comes out after a meeting and says, will I don't know if we're going to be able to get this done. Tell me more about executive power, because it seems to me that the executive branch only has power, unlimited, unwielding power when it is a Republican president, it's a democrat. Ah well, I don't know what we

can do about that. So I'll just go back to the White House, right and play with my dogs, or put together a really heartfelt speech and slam my hand down on the desk and add some affect to it so people think that I mean business, but I do nothing. I'm done with the fucking pageantry. Yesterday, the Department of Justice finally did something right with regard to the insurrectionists for the first time, right in this year long fucking journey that we have been on right to hold those

that try to overthrow our government. And and you know, here's the other thing too, is that mainstream media continues to say, oh, they tried to overturn an election. They weren't just trying to overturn an election, right because once it in language matters, they were trying to overthrow the government, right, that's what they were doing. So for the first time, the Department of Justice, according to the New York Times and every other outlet that has been covering it, has

charged the leader of the oath Keepers right. His name is Stuart Rhodes. They charge Stuart Rhodes and other members of the Oath Keepers with seditious conspiracy right seditious conspiracy. I want to tell you, and this is why I'm sitting in a new location today so that i have access to my computer. But I want to read for

you the definition right of seditious conspiracy. Seditious conspiracy if two or more persons in any state or territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States conspire to overthrow, put down, or destroy by force the government of the United States, or to levy war against them, to oppose by force the authority thereof right, or to prevent to hinder right the operations of said government. Stewart Rhodes let me tell you a little bit about Stuart.

And I think that this is important, not because I'm trying to do any sort of docuseries or any sort of drive of empathy, but I want us to understand who these people are, not in the way that the

mainstream media wants you to understand. But here's the thing myself, including for years, have loved to say that the people that follow Donald Trump, the people that are far right right, are these under educated, right toothless buffoons who live in the rust belt, that are Bible, that lack education, lack any skills, and so it's easier for them to lop on to the lies that are spread by the Republican Party.

With regard to who is responsible for their lat in life, it is immigrants coming to steal their jobs, it's black people in affirmative action, it is anything other than themselves, you know, because you can never have really white people be responsible for their own actions and their own life. It is always somebody else that needs to be at fault.

And that is what Donald Trump has tapped into. That is what the Republican Party, by virtue of Donald Trump being their puppet, that is what they have tapped into. But this is a thing that we don't want to have a conversation about because we of course love to treat white people as individuals, as a part as opposed to a part of a community and or group. They get to be individual lone wolfs, They get to be individually pulling themselves up from their bootstraps, but they never

get assessed as a collective. And that is the fucking problem. Stuart Rhodes is nobody's dummy. Stuart Rhodes is a former Army paratrooper who, according to The New York Times, went on after being in the Army, to earn a law

degree from Yale. And why do I say that, because the actions that were put into play well ahead of January sixth, Because what the Department of Justice and what cable News is pushing out are the tweets not the tweets, excuse me, the signal thread, the encrypted signal threads of conversations between Stuart Rhodes and other members of the Oath Keepers. Because folks, what were they creating on said day? What were they leading up to? Oh, they were creating an

entire military operation, you see, the Oath Keepers. While their membership, as they say, is open to everybody, who they are looking for are ex military or current military, law enforcement and first responders. From a text that was sent on December eleventh, weeks before January sixth, Stuart Rhodes essentially said that if Joe Biden was going to be certified as president of the United States. Then what would ensue would

be bloody. Okay, what the New York Times has reported they have charged this is at quote it's members not only with forcing their way into the building and in a military style stack, which is a formation, right, but also with stationing an armed quick reaction force at a hotel in Virginia to be ready to rush into Washington if needed. So what reports are saying right now is that Stuart Rhodes, the head of the oath Keepers, was

not in the Capitol building. But as Merritt Garland had said in his very tepid Milktoast speech, that he gave that regardless of whether you were in the Capitol Building on that day or not, or on the grounds at all, that you were still going to be charged because, as he said, right, they were laying the foundation. And to me, here's the thing. If I'm laying a foundation, I'm going

after the heaviest sentences possible. Like I get it. He wants to move this as a Glenn Kirshner, as our friend says, as a Rico case, right, where you go after like the street hustlers, right, if you're looking at drugs, you go after the street hustlers, Right, you pin them and then you have them flip, and then that person flip, and that person flip, and that person flip, until you

move your way up to the kingpins. Right, Except we already know who the fuck these kingpins are, right, We don't need anybody to be idd We know because they were all on the ellipses on January six and they were giving speeches, and then we already have the phone records. Are the members of Congress who are also coordinating with those that would attempt to overthrow the government. What I want folks to understand here is that this wasn't a

wayward group of tourists, right. This wasn't MAGA tourists run wild. This was a strategic, planned out attack, weeks if not months, if not year in the making in order for us to get to January sixth. We all want to believe, and the media has allowed themselves to run with the lie that people got swept up in the moment, that they you know, they got caught up by domestic terrorism. That Karen and Chad, you know, your mailman, your police officer,

your pastor, they just you know, got caught up with excitement. No, no, no, no, These people, the Oath Keepers, the Proud Boys, the Boogaloo Boys, all of these organized membership groups that are filled with current and active, current active and retired right law enforcement military first responders. They created a strategic plan. They had waukie talkies and earpieces. They had stashed weapons around Washington, d C. And Virginia and I'm certain in Maryland as well.

They had coordination, they had surveillance and eyes. They had plans. So while Donald Trump's war room, led by Steve Bannon and Juliani, were looking at all of the legal machinations and all of the ways to thwart the counting, to thwart the certification on January sixth, and how they were going to right not certify the election, get Mike Pence, and if Mike Pence fails, then we're going to move

down the line. They also had their foot soldiers, like these organizations that Donald Trump, him fucking South told on national television to stand back and to stand by, ready and armed and waiting to attack. What do you call that if not a fucking coup? What do you call that? If not seditious conspiracy? What do you refer to that? If not treason? How is it that we do not have these lawyers at the Department of Justice just running back Donald Trump's own words, Oh, we don't know what

he meant. He fucking told you what he meant. Let's stop trying to pretend that we don't know. I said this too on Twitter yesterday because I you know, there are just some days where I am utterly beside myself, honestly utterly beside myself, And yesterday was one of those days where I'm listening to cable news hosts say, well, what do you think that they were going to do with that heavy artillery? Why do you think that they

were dressed in the way that they were. I always love the soft balling and performance of neutrality and ignorance around white people's violent actions. I'm gonna keep saying white folks because I wanted to be beat into everybody's head that if this was any other fucking group, there would

have been a drone strike on that fucking house. They wouldn't have casually brought out the leaders of any black Muslim Latin X organization who is literally preparing for war and just you know, say, casually read them their rights and then you know, make sure that they've dotted all of their eyes and tees and then you know, indict them. They would have killed them, they would have blown them up,

and America would have celebrated. That's the reality, you see, because when these agencies in the nineteen sixties were wire tapping Martin Luther King and Malcolm Axe and doing coordinated efforts and attacks against the Black Panther Party, and mind you, there is no equivalency here. I just want you to see what America has done to those leaders and activists that have been at the forefront of fighting for justice

and dignity and jobs and respect. They have beaten them, they have raped them, they have murdered them, they have hung them, they have bombed them. And then the mainstream news, which is complicit in all of it, just chooses not to cover it so that the larger white American public can claim ignorance right and the black community. Black Americans can feel fucking gasolate on a regular basis because you see, we know the truth, because not knowing the truth puts

us in danger. White America, not knowing the truth allows them to exist in some type of moral Disneyland where they get to believe that they are so good and so righteous and so pure, and it's everybody else that is violent and criminal and heathens, because that's all you are fucking fed. Right. You don't know about the bombs that were dropped in recently as nineteen eighty six in Philadelphia,

You just learn about that now. You don't know about the tanks that we're rolling through communities right in LA on the drug war, right, and what they've been doing, what they have been doing since the beginning of time. But when it comes to white America's patterns and foundation of violence, right and hate and anti government sentiments, they're treated like upstanding citizens who still have rights. They have more rights under indictment and being charged with seditious conspiracy

than any innocent black person walking the street today. That should make us all sick, regardless of your hue. It should make us all sick that we see blatantly now how this country operates. It's all about the rule of law when we're talking about white people. Oh you know this, and this sentence, by the way, if actually going to

trial and convicted, only holds up to twenty years. Right, But you will find any maneuver, any undercover law to sentence Let's say a truck driver who made an accident, right, it was an accident that occurred, but you'll sentence him to one hundred and ten years. So it's always like, well, the law says that we can only do acc and I said, m that's funny because you always seem to be able to find maneuvers and loopholes around the law when you decide to throw the book at black and

brown people and then get fucking celebrated for it. Miss me with the bullshit. The more that I read about Stewart Rhodes and the Oath Keepers, the more I'm confused about how these people have not been broken up and thrown in jail from the get go. How were these groups just allowed to operate and organize in broad daylight. Their whole premise is to create small militias in order to overtake states and essentially secede from the United States

of America by force if necessary. They are saying everything out loud, and yet we still find White America scratching its head, going I wonder what they were planning to do to fucking kill the Vice President, to find whatever members of Congress that they wanted to execute them and then to reinstate Donald Trump and then get pardoned and probably get Congressional Medals of Freedom as patriots. That's what the fuck they were doing. You know, America is not

just in trouble. America is done. And that's the thing that I realize every single day. And I was having this conversation with my producer Andrew, and you know, we go back and forth on a regular basis, like what are we doing, what are we offering? And I said, you know, the question that we're asking is it is America over right? Is democracy done? And deep down I will tell you yes, yes it is. Twenty twenty was our last free and fair election. America as a democracy,

one that you grew up in, is finished. But the reality is we have to keep fighting. We have to fight for the scraps that are left, and we have to fight for future generations. This is our fight, right, this is what we are tasked with doing. And we do not have the luxury to throw up our hands and say that we are done, and to say that it's done. So I'm not going to do anything anymore because that is what they want. Create chaos, create mayhem,

exhaust the public. Then they'll turn away from government altogether, because they'll see that there's no difference but from one party to the next, and then you can run rough shot over the country. Republicans are already telling you what they are doing when they take back power. Right, They're going to impeach Joe Biden. They're going to impeach Nancy Pelosi. They're going to take away committee chairs. They're going to do whatever they can to censure and fire and kick

out and create one party rule. They're not offering how they're going to get us out of this global health pandemic. They're not offering how they're going to turn the economy around. They're not offering how they're going to secure safety nets. No, that shit is out the window. This is about retribution. Right. They want you to be terrified. They want you living in fear. They want to be able to do and harm whomever they want, whenever they want, however they want.

Because they have the courts, they have the cops, they have the Congress, they have everything. But they don't have our fight and they don't have our will. And let me tell you something, it is not our elected officials that are going to get us out of this, Right, America is headed for more increasingly dark and I mean midnight dark times. We may be in this space for years to come, decades even, but the pendulum will swing back,

and we will do so violently. I have said many a times that things will get bloodier before they get better. This shit that the oath keepers and the Buggaloo Boys and the Proud Boys have been up to over the past five years, this shit is real. When Dissantis in Florida holds a pressor and tells you that he wants to create his own army of Florida right that will only listen to him, won't be dictated to or funded by the federal government. This is who the fuck he

is talking about. These are the people that he wants. When you have members of Congress at say we have more bullets on our side, when they are putting up crosshairs, when they are asking why can't I carry my nine millimeter on the floor of the house, it's my American right. Violence is their oath they are telling you, They are telling us. You know Aimin Mohadeen, who has been a guest on WOKF a couple of times over the years and is an MSNBC host and host of the podcast

You can't tell me it's Kamala Harris, you can't tell me it's Democrats. Who the fuck is in charge? Who is running things? Right? It's like the parents left town, never to be heard from again. The house has been tossed over, right, things have been stolen. There's crap everywhere, drugs, liquors,

fucking you know, shit on the walls. Who the fuck is in charge of this place? Right now? We are in embarrassment, an embarrassment. America used to be the place that folks pointed to for better or for worse, right because we had the biggest mouse and the best pr This is who we want to be, This is what democracy. He looks like they are looking at us right now and saying, whoa Well, that was a good two hundred

and seventy year run. But this shit is over. Bad news begets bad news because not only did Joe Biden and his administration gets shown up by the likes of that denim vest wearing Kursten cinema. But the Supreme Court also smacked them down this week as well. Right, the Supreme Court pets blocked the Biden administrations vaccine mandate for private companies, large companies that have over a hundred employees one hundred plus, which would have mandated vaccinations for eighty

million Americans. Well, the conservative bought Supreme Court has said, oh well, osha, Right, the Office of Safety and Health doesn't have that level of authority to be able to demand that private employers with a hundred plus employees mandate vaccinations. Now, they can choose to do so on their own, but it can't be mandated by the federal government because they say, oh, that would take an active congress. Well, we know how dysfunctional congresses and we also know that on this six

to three conservative court. Where did we think that this was going so interesting to me? All of the things that the president can't do when you have a conservative six to three court. But you can lock children in cages, right, You can decide not to provide them with sanitary conditions. Right. You can block certain countries into coming in here because

you don't like their racial makeup. And their religion. You can ban people from being able to vote, but no, when it comes to this conservative court, the president apparently has no authority. Now, they did uphold the mandate on healthcare workers and so my thing because they said right in the decision that this was too broad of a stroke.

Will then tell me, Biden administration, why you didn't come up with right a rebuttal that was about at least service facing businesses right, your Delta's right, your airlines, your restaurants, your big box stores like Walmart and Target. Why did you not make it about public facing employees, customer service based professions and industry that you are mandating because they are interfacing on a regular basis with the public. Why it was necessary for these people to be vaccinated instead

of this broad stroke? Who the fuck is not paying attention to this court right now and the decisions that they are making, and who is making them? Who still has faith and justice? John Roberts to quote unquote do the right thing? Get the fuck out of here again. How many times do people have to do wrong by you for us to realize they are evil people? We got a Supreme Court right now that is made up of sexual predators, liars, and thieves. That's who's dictating the

law of the land to the people. Give me a fucking break. So this administration this week is batten zero right, right, is batten fucking zero. Right Now, you have broadcasters asking, well, if build back Better is out, if voting rights ain't getting done, So what is it that Democrats are running on? Will maybe there'll be these small procedural policies that they

can put forth. If you are not running on the insurrection, on intimidation, on lies, on fascism, if you can't even put together the pr campaign that is going to paint the other guy as essentially Hitler in a red tie, Hitler in a red hat, then you really have lost it, and you have lost my faith. Right, we are not doing great. Let me say that again. We as a country, right on in this January fourteen, this fourteen days, two whole weeks into twenty twenty two, we are not doing great.

We are losing. And I hate to, you know, lay it out like that. But if they're building if the radical right is building militias right, which they've been doing in the open for decades, If they're building militias, if they are training people on military strategy. If they are getting ready and January sixth was just a training exercise, think about it like this. If January sixth was just a training exercise, what do you think they're coming with next?

And what is it that Democrats are doing in response, waving their finger, talking about history, slamming their hands on a desk. What are they doing to stop the assault? Because first is the Cold War, which is really what happened during the Obama years. Right, I'm going to make him a one term president, said Duck Bill Platypus. He said it again with the Abiden administration called himself the grim reaper. Republicans lined up behind Mitch McConnell, Donald Trump

up the ante, stand back and stand by. Go take your capital back, Go take your country back. What are you a bunch of whimps? Real men? Take up guns. This is not a loose group of knuckleheads. These are elite trained militias that are willing to do whatever whenever they get the call. So are we going to sit around and wait for that not to come to our door? Are we going to sit around and pretend that elections

alone matter anymore in this climate? Or are we going to have finally a come to Jesus fucking moment and recognize that we are under threat, that we are at war, and that the battle lines have clearly been drawn. Whether or not we choose to believe it or not, it is happening. We are in the midst of a civil war, folks, and they are knuckling up right now, and our Department of Justice and this administration has taken their sweet ass time.

If we do not lock these people up in mass at this moment, if this administration does not own this as victories for democracy and use that because they ain't got nothing else to campaign on, we are toast. The question that I'm asking is who is paying attention, who is in charge? That is it for me today, folks, on this Friday, as always, Power to the people and to all the people.
