Good morning, Peepsen, Welcome to wok F Daily with Meet your Girl Daniel Moody, recording from the Long Island Home bunks. Folks, thinking about what to talk about on this woke Wednesday, And if you have been listening to me for years now, you know that I often talk about the fact that I don't believe in polls, right, particularly since the twenty sixteen election that totals that Hillary Clinton was going to win.

I don't believe in polls. Since the red waves that the media was reporting on didn't happen, I lost faith in polls. Polls are not an exact science. If anything, they provide you with some kind of you know, political weather report as to where the winds are blowing right now, but they can't tell you the exact time that the storm is going to hit. They can't tell you the exact conditions of what you are experiencing in that moment, right, And so I look at them now the way that

I look at my horoscope. There is some information that is in there that is helpful, right, but it is not a directive, right, It is not an actual map. Right. However, However, this is a big however, and if you know me, which all of you who listen to this show on a regular basis, do you know that for me to say what I'm about to say means that I am

significantly worried. Polling shows that Joe Biden with young people, people under the age of thirty five, he is down not five, not ten, not twenty, not thirty points, but fifty five zero. Joe Biden was partly catapulted to the presidency in twenty twenty one, deeply because of people's disdain and hate for Donald Trump. The fact that during that election we did not have a vaccine and people stood out in line to vote against Donald Trump, not necessarily

four Joe Biden, young people in particular. And so here's where I am deeply concerned, which is that very same demographic that launched Joe Biden and our democracy into the future gave us some a little bit four years of breathing room as the dragon of fascism and authoritarianism can continues to build strength. We had some space, and now those very same young people who are four years older, seeing the world around them, have decided this ain't their guy.

Now here's what I want folks to understand from my perspective, which is this, I am angry with the Biden administration. Okay, this is not me pretending that this administration right now, as it pertains to their stance and their moves in Gaza and Israel, are anything other than abhorn disgusting, dehumanizing,

and horrible. So let me just be very clear. This stance, the idea, the choice that Biden mayd when Israel started attacking Gaza following the killing of fourteen hundred Israelis, which now the Israelis have killed ten times plus that amount right in Gaza, Innocent people, innocent children, half of which half of which of those that have been murdered are kids because half of the population of Gaza is children.

How is Israel doing this our fucking tax dollars that have been funding that country since its formation Republican and

Democrats alike. However, just like with most things, which is why Republicans are so hell bent on distorting and destroying any other evidence of facts and real history, the more that people learn about this crisis that they don't by way, have to be a foreign affairs expert to understand, the more that they're like, how are we saying that we are a democracy helping to defend democracy in the Middle East, with a country that has two sets of license plates,

two different types of roads, different levels of security, protection and rights for its citizens. That sounds eerily familiar to something that we fought, marched, and people died for in this country and that did not end right legally until the passing of the Civil Rights Act of nineteen sixty five. So you're talking about this country only having an actual

democracy America for something like close to sixty years. When I look at Israel and Gaza, when I visited Israel, was not able to go into Gaza because at that time tensions had flared in twenty fifteen and there were attacks that were happening. But I went to the West Bank, I went to Ramaala, I went to Jerusalem, I went to East Jerusalem, I went to Hebraun. What I saw looked like everything that I had learned in the history

books that I thought that America was against. So now when you learn that not only is America not against that, but your tax dollars are going to fund it, and folks are just waking up and getting hip to that fact because recognizing that corporate media has been sanitizing write their coverage, and that the coverage is incredibly one sided, and so you're not able to get a full picture

and then make an informed analysis of your own. Yeah, you're gonna be angry, you're gonna feel hoodwinked, you're gonna feel bamboozled. So I get the feelings, folks, because I have them too. That being said, let me paint the other picture of what is happening right now in this country. The Republican Party installed in the House of Representatives as their speaker, an anti democratic theocrat that makes The Handmaids

Tail look like a documentary. This is a man, Mike Johnson, who was two heart beats away from the White House, that believes in theocracy, that says to people that the values in tenants that we had as a nation in the eighteen hundreds is what we need to reinstitute. Just a reminder for those that may not understand the timeline that is a time when women were not considered people. Black people sure as fuck, were not considered people because

the slave trade was still happening. The only people that had rights and a voice were white Christian men. No one else mattered. James Carville just recently posted up on a joy read, Repat posted this interview where he said that to shrug off what these white evangelical Christians are saying, to not understand that McCarthy, Johnson, McConnell, all of these folks that are in power, that hold the levels of power,

want a theocracy. You see the story of Mike Johnson and his son and their story about monitoring each other's porn intake. That's the kind of spying that they want the government to be able to do on the rest of us to make sure that we are not, you know, advancing let's say LGBTQ tendencies. Right, there's a town in Tennessee, just to make you all aware, that just voted to make it a legal to be gay in public. Google it. These things are happening, bit by bit. It doesn't just

end with anti abortion policies. It doesn't just end with policing people with uteruses. It doesn't just end with banning books that show representation outside of the white supremaist power structure. It doesn't end there. That is the beginning. I continue to say on every single platform that I have that Hitler did not start with the concentration camps. He ended

with them. How it started was with clearly identifying an enemy and defining it to the people, much in the same way that Donald Trump is now referring to his political opponents as verse that need to be exterminated. When he's referring to undocumented immigrants as tainting the blood of this country, right, that just hearkens back to no race mingling, right,

and the push to continue segregation. When he begins to refer to people as less than human, it is planting the seeds so that when actions, violent actions, cruel actions are taken against those groups of people, then everyone else will look the other way. Does that sound familiar as to what is happening right now in Israel and Gaza.

If you can paint every Palestinian person as being affiliated with terrorism, as being barbarians, saying things like flatten Gaza on the house fucking floor, then you can take whatever actions you want to against that community because you've already separated them from their humanity, which makes them easier to

get rid of and no one give a fuck. The reason why you have the Republican Party, which is filled with anti Semites cheering on what is happening in Israel and Gaza is because that is what they want the ability to do in the United States, and trust me, they will do when they have the power and authority to do so. Now folks will say, DINIEO, stop being hyperbolic. We have rules and we have laws. Oh is that right?

You mean like the law that we had for fifty years that said that women and people with uteruses had the rights to control their body. You mean that law? You mean the civil rights law, the Voting Rights Act that said that historically and traditionally racist states with anti discriminatory and anti black policies had to have preclearance in order to change their voting rights law so that they were not intentionally suppressing the votes of black people. You

mean that law that the Supreme Court got it. The laws are only as good as the people that are willing to continue to enforce them. So when we say that, oh, those things could never happen here, the presumption and the assumption and wrongfully so, that people are making is that we have some type of fail safe, some type of guard rail, which the four years under Donald Trump showed

us that we absolutely do not. We don't. And just to be clear that all of the testing of the fences that that administration did, like that scene in Jurassic Park right where the most dangerous in caged dinosaur was testing the security fences to see which ones were the weakest.

That's what the Trump first term did. And so the people that they had in place, like a Bill Barr and a Jeff Sessions and a General Madis and all of these people who now with their fucking tell all books say that, well, they did their best right to just kind of bend the Constitution but not completely burn it the way that Mark Meadows did documents in his office the day of the insurrection. Those people will not be inside of a Trump administration two points I know.

They will be filled with the Mike Johnsons of the world and the other one hundred and forty six Republicans that voted to decertify the election in twenty twenty after after their lives were put at risk because, like Donald Trump said on the day of the insurrection, they're not

here to hurt me. That's what those Republicans believe. So when we say these things could never happen here, the question that you have is whose responsibility is it going to be to make sure that it doesn't happen because the assumption is that we're all working on the same set of laws and values. We don't anymore. The Republican Party and Donald Trump made sure of that we don't

share the same idea the rule of law. Their idea of the rule of law is government being able to dictate what you read, what you say, what you think, how you fuck, where you love, who you love, where you live. Right, you had members of the Republican Party in the House saying that they want to end right on the stage at one of the debates, saying that

they want to end birthright citizenship. Turn that into a test like the literacy tests that they had in the nineteen fifties to deny black people the right to vote. Like that, guess how many marbles are in this jar test. You had the vech Ramasami say, you know what, you shouldn't be allowed to vote until you're twenty five and have served in the military, neither of which he did. Right, And you may say, well, the that's never going to be president. That doesn't mean that the hateful idea is

that he's spewed as a way to get attention. That somebody who does make it into power, like a Donald Trump doesn't say, you know what, that wasn't a bad idea. Our laws are only as good as the people that are willing to enforce them. They have already put in place a right wing fascist Supreme Court, a six to three court that all you have to do is continue to bring cases the way right that they started with affirmative action. And now it's not just about schools and

who will let in schools. It's about venture capitalist funds, it's about grants, it's about business. It's about asserting and maintaining white supremacy and doing it quote unquote legally. To remind you, the way that segregation and slavery were also legal, the way that the Holocaust was all soap legal, the way that apartheid was also legal. How did it happen? You put the right people in place, That's how it happens.

So I go back to the beginning, to the polls, and I make a clarion call to everyone that is listening to this, and all the people that you know that listen to you, your friends, your family, your colleagues, your kids. Now is not the time to be silent. We have the opportunity to criticize and push the Biden

administration because they still believe in the constitution. You will not have that ability and that right if there is any Republican that comes into the executive branch, if any Republican is able to take control of the Senate on top of already having the House. Do you understand what is at stake here is our liberty, our freedom, and our lives. And this is not hyperbolic, folks. Look around.

Argentina just had an election where they just elected a man that they call crazy, the madman, the loco, and they compare him to Donald Trump. And do you know who ushered in that far right leader? Young people? So when I say to you right now, less than twelve months write twelve months out from the twenty twenty four election, that Joe Biden is fifty fucking points down, that is caused for fucking concern because that means that the weather system that we are looking at twelve months down the

road doesn't look fucking good. So if we do not push and challenge this administration to shift courses and to double triple and quadruple down on democracy in this goddamn country and have their foreign policy match what it is that they're fucking saying here, because you can't have it both ways. You can't talk about saving the soul of the nation in America and then ripping the souls from

people's bodies in Palestine. You can't do that. You can't talk about justice and democracy and self determination here and look away at what is happening in the Congo. You see, technology has allowed the world to shrink in many ways, where we are seeing in real time what is happening right where you can pull up any social media platform and the videos and the images that are coming in in real time and tell people what to look away. Don't believe you're lying eyes believe the words that are

coming out of my mouth. I don't think so. So on this Wednesday, what I'm saying to folks is we are truly not just in this country, but if America falls, everything else falls. And we have been seeing one domino after the next with each far right win that we are seeing happen globally. The world already had to contest with four years of Donald Trump, who pulled us out of commissions and you know, establishments that we had had with our allies to realign with North Korea and Russia.

So what the fuck do you think is gonna happen the next time around? It will be our last election because the Heritage Foundation, which has put billion dollars behind their twenty twenty five plan. Go to Heritagefoundation dot org and look at it, because it is not hiding. It is in full fucking view what they plan to do in the first one hundred days. And our democracy is done because you know what will happen. You say, oh,

the people will revolt. They run the military, and the only reason why the military did not fall under Donald Trump is because you had those generals, those sergeants, those people that were in place that he will wipe the fuck out. You already have right in the Senate that one motherfucker that is denying the appointments under the Biden administration of the leaders of our military. Why do you

think that he is doing that. It isn't just because of his stands on abortion and the abortion protections that the military affords service members with uteruses. It's to make sure that those that are at the tippy tippy top are not appointed by a Democrat. Wake up, y'all. I can't express it enough on this woke Wednesday. We are in fucking danger. We are in Dane jur and we cannot pretend right or look away from who has the microphone in the Republican Party. Right now, this is beyond

Donald Trump. The virus has spread beyond him, two heart beats away from the White House, from the executive branch, from the nuclear buttons is a white supremacist, anti democratic theocrat. That is a major fucking win for them. And they are not done yet. They are relentless. So we do not have room to protest, vote. We do not have room to think that, oh well, I'm gonna get Joe Biden and I'm gonna stay my ass home. Recognize that

that home will be taken over by theocrats. That the liberties that you are enjoying right now, that are shrinking by the day, will be fucking done first they came for. Remember that that is it for me today, Dear friends, on wokef as always, Power to the people and to all the people. Power, Get woke and stay woke as fuck.
