time it's felt really nice, hasn't it. Having hope again, feeling this air of positivity, feeling energized and like you want to mobile and take action in order to save our democracy. That we're doing it from a place of joy and laughter and not from a place of bitterness, fear and resentment, you know, the place that Donald Trump lives. So when he gets this invitation to attend the National Association of Black Journalists conference for god knows what reason.

No one knows, but I guess, you know, they come from the idea that all news is good news, I guess, or that every click is a good click, and I don't come from that school of thought, but hey, NABJ, whatever works for you. You know. Nonetheless, this interview that he had with the three journalists will two journalists because I don't count. Fox was supposed to be an hour and he was pulled off of the stage after thirty four disastrous fucking minutes. But you see, Donald Trump got out

of this exactly what he wanted. Like, while the rest of us on Earth one are saying that this was a disaster, Oh my god, the racism, the misogyny that was spewed to his supporters, Donald Trump looks like he took it to the black people, you know, played in their faces, as the kids say, you know, was disrespectful, because what are they gonna do? Right? So Donald Trump did what all white supremacists want to be able to do, to go inside of black people's sacred spaces and make

a fucking mess. And so while the last almost two weeks of media attention has been on Kamala Harris and the renewed energy inside of the Democratic Party, Donald Trump doesn't like that because he's a fucking toddler and he wanted all of the attention back on him. And that's

exactly where it is. Because you have people like I don't know, the opinion writers at the Washington Post saying that Donald Trump questions the racial identity of Vice President Kamala Harris and somehow that puts her in an awkward position. I'm sorry, what white racist attacks biracial vice president about her open identity, which we all know Indian mother, Jamaican father. Kamala Harris comes in the middle, right, like anyone with I don't know a high I don't even know anyone

with a mild IQ can compute those things. Donald Trump, however, was like, I don't know she turned black when I met her. She was Indian really, the woman that attended a historically black college and university, the woman that pledged the oldest black sorority in the country, AKA, like that woman was hiding her blackness and all of a sudden she turned you know. And so to kind of make joke of the crazy, there's a hashtag that was going around called hashtag when did you turn black? Or hashtag

turn black? Because apparently we're all like walking around like the incredible Hulk. I guess there is certain incidents and moments that turn us black. Also, did you listen to the way that Donald Trump uttered the word black with either saying it as if it was alleged right, Like is your name, Danielle, or saying it with a level of contempt and disgust, which shows you exactly what he thinks about black people and people that identify as black.

Let me tell you something. The media learns nothing ever, right, nothing good came from Donald Trump, and people will say to me on my videos, well, you know, it aired out who he he is, and bah blah what. Donald Trump's been doing this shit since two thousand and eight, when he started on the birtherism tip about Barack Obama, which spawned all of these radical, fucking looney tunes conspiracy theories about where Barack Obama was born, even though he

had presented his birth certificate. Oh what supremacist word satisfied, because you can't possibly be from here, right because their idea of American is wrapped up in whiteness, and so it wouldn't be until after Barack Obama is elected. That then the White House releases his long form birth certificate and Donald Trump goes on some type of fucking press tour as a I you know alone did this, did what?

Motherfucker spread bullshit? That's what you did. But the fact that he put Barack Obama and his White House on the defensive, put them in a place where they're having to defend and offer up a long form birth certificate. I actually remember, and this might have been before he was elected, or maybe like during the campaign when the Obamas were on Oprah and Oprah was like, you know,

how are you dealing with all this birtherriism? In Barack Obama was just like, I find it haha, funny and ridiculous, and Michelle Obama is like, I don't find it funny at all. There is nothing funny about it. Right, But she couldn't get angry because dare she get the angry black lady label placed on her? Then how could she become first lady? All of the fucking like acrobatics that black people and people of color have to do inside of this racist country in order to just be considered.

So what Donald Trump is doing is just birtherriism two point zero. He's posting pictures of Kamala Harrison with her family in traditional Indian garb, because yes, half of her family is from fucking India. So what are the pictures supposed to show us that she loves her family? Is she supposed to choose in the way that you choose

every day to be a racist. I'm so frustrated because what I've seen over the last few days are people using their good, good time to defend Vice President Kamala Harris's identity and to talk about multi racialism and blah blah blah blah blah. Why folks, why don't feed the beast? Honestly, because, like Tony Morrison told us so many moons ago, the very function, the very serious function, she wrote, of racism is distraction because it stops us from doing the work.

And that's exactly what Donald Trump wants us to do. You see, right now, folks have finally woken up and are conscious to exactly who the Republican Party is because they haven't been keeping it a secret. You see all of these interview clips of JD. Vance and talking about like women that don't have children and saying that they should pay higher taxes, that they aren't real Americans because

what they don't have a stake. We don't have a stake essentially in America because we're not adding to the population. The fuck kind of nonsense is that? But those clips are everywhere, so when we're looking in Project twenty twenty five, that they're trying to run from, as some folks said, faster than Donald Trump runs from a tax bill. But just kidding. He doesn't get tax bills because he don't

pay taxes. But they're trying to run from it and disband it because inside of their what people are seeing, it's exactly what they think about women, right, what they think the function of womanhood is, which is just to provide babies, but really specifically white babies. Right, and shut the fuck up because they don't want you to be

able to get a divorce. They want men to have all the power back that they had prior to nineteen seventy three and nineteen seventy four when Roe v. Wade was passed and when women had were granted economic freedom, right, no fault divorce was something that was pushed by their former icon, Ronald Reagan. But now they want to go into this area of Christian fundamentalism and put their white

women in the handmaid's tail. So you listen to all of the things that are being doubled down on about this country being run by childless cat ladies, right, and what Jesse Waters say the other day on Fox News, I mean, I try not to listen. But I could not avoid this clip because it was going off everywhere that men who vote for women turn into women like

they are telling you exactly what they think. So we have to listen, We have to pay attention because again, all of this is a distraction around Vice President Kamala Harris and her racial identities. It's a distraction from us paying attention to the rights that they are lining up to take away, from us paying attention to the fact that Donald Trump and his ilk want to turn the clock back to the nineteenth century before many of us

had any rights at all. And you see right now, what I believe that we are going to witness over the next several weeks is an absolute fucking meltdown of Donald Trump and the Republican Party. Why do I say this, And I'm not saying it in a way to say that we have an easy road in a path to

the White House. No, that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that Donald Trump has lost power and attention, the two things that he loves most, and what he showed on stage at that NABJ conference is that he can't take facts, he can't take truth, he can't take being questioned by people that are smart, that are women, that are black women at that And so what's going to happen is that he's stuck with JD. Vance Right, somebody

that isn't adding anything to his ticket whatsoever. And when Donald Trump gets angry like a toddler, he acts the fuck out. And so he's going to continue to show us exactly who he is that he's on Fox News, anytime that he's at one of these rallies. He's not going to be able to keep his racism and misogyny in because what he is feeling is a loss of power. And when small, narrow minded bigots find themselves in positions

where they are losing power, they lash out. And that lashing out is going to look like verbal assaults over and over and over again. And the thing is is that he's not just going to verbally attack Vice President. He is attacking all of us who are not white, who are not sis, who are not straight, who are not quote unquote Christian although he's not a fucking Christian right,

who don't fit into their white supremacist Disneyland. And so I just wonder, because the thing is is that all of these other Trump sycophans think that they can try on his character, that they can mimic him and they're going to get the same age that he does. But that is not the case. For whatever reason, it actually only works for Donald Trump. So I think that we're

going to see less of JD. Vance. I think that we are going to see more of Donald Trump and these tie raids that he went on for thirty four long minutes. Donald Trump had the audacity to say, folks that he did more for black people than Abraham Lincoln. What like, what are you talking about? So you know, we have our work cut out for us. As the Vice president has said at her rallies that she is the underdog, and that is the truth. Right, Like, we are excited now and as we're getting ready to head

into convention. The announcement for her vice president is going to come next week, right, and they're going to hit the roads and hit Philadelphia and hit Wisconsin and hit Savannah, Georgia. And we've got to keep the momentum going. We have got to not allow ourselves to get distracted by every stupid fucking thing that's gonna come out of Donald Trump's mouth, because it's going to stop us from organizing. It's going

to stop us from getting people registered to vote. It's going to stop us in our tracks and put us right back into the place where Donald Trump wants us, which is spiraling in misery. And I don't want that for us. Now that I have had a renewed taste of fresh, hopeful air, I'm not going back, just like Kamala Harris is saying, we're not going back. We are

only going forward. Right now, she just got one of the biggest endorsements right from the United Auto Workers Huge, She's gotten endorsements from Silicon Valley right, some of the

biggest CEOs have come out and endorsed her. Because people are being the writing on the wall that we have an opportunity to do something extraordinary, which is stop this backsliding of our democracy, Stop Donald Trump, stop fascism in this country, and elect a woman who believes in democracy, who believes in freedom, who believes in truth, who has

integrity and a moral compass. You know, I'm the first to admit that I am so grateful to be wrong, to have been wrong about Joe Biden stepping aside, because if I had known that we were going to unify in this way. I would have said step aside months ago. But here we are. And so I don't want us, just when we are beginning to build steam, to turn our attention back on Donald Trump, because it doesn't serve us. What I want us to do is look ahead. Donald

Trump is our past. Everything that he stands for, everything that he talks about, is about the past. Making America great again. That is about past white supremaist fantasies that they want to rejuvenate with Project twenty twenty five. Kamala Harris the same. We're not ever going back, We're only going forward. This is about our future freedoms. This is about creating the country for the first time that we want.

I don't want to say for the first time, because it's each generation's responsibility to try and perfect this very imperfect union. And we were disrupted from that good work for four goddamn years, and we've spent the last four cleaning up like fucking janitors, cleaning up the mess of

Donald Trump and his ILK. So this election, with the possibility of electing our first madam President of the United States, we have an opportunity to build on where the Biden Harris team brought us for the next four to eight years to push white supremacy and fascism to the margins of our society, push them back into the shadows where they belong. I don't even want them in the shadows. I want them to exist nowhere. I want people to remember from now on, it doesn't matter how the Republican

Party changes titles and policies and switches out candidates. For the last decade, they have been in laws step with white supremacy and fascism. And this is something that we should never allow them to forget, and that we should never forget because if we have the opportunity and we seize it and we win, it is not going to be just enough to pat ourselves on the back, because

we need accountability. We need to bring all of these evil anti democratic sycophants to justice because that, that and that alone is what is going to truly heal this country. Because in order to heal a wound, you gotta clean it out, you gotta disinfect it, and then and only then can it begin to heal. So we are not in a place of let's just raw rah rah, move on. We have hard work ahead of us. The next couple of weeks. We need to stay focused, we need to

stay agile and on our game. And so just know that anything that comes out of any of these motherfucker's mouths is nothing but distraction. While Donald Trump tweets about him alone being able to free hostages, guess what happened. Biden Harris's team is doing while he's just running his mouth, bringing home several hostages by Russia that are now coming back home to their families because the Biden Harris team

promised that they wouldn't give up. So while Donald Trump tweets right empty promises, the Biden Harris team fulfills them. That is it for me today, Dear friends on wokf as always, power to the people and to all the people. Power, get woke and stay woke as fuck.
