Good morning, peeps, and welcome to OKF Daily with Me your Girl, Daniel Moody recording from the home Bunker, Folks. I am recording this prior to Donald Trump making the announcement about his vice presidential pick. I am recording this following a weekend where there was NonStop news coverage on

the quote unquote assassination attempt of Donald Trump. I'm going to give my very raw opinions which I kept for this podcast as opposed to really going off on social media or going on television, because I needed a moment. I needed a moment to see how this was going to play out in the I needed a moment to see how Republicans were going to move in this moment.

And here's what I will say. Nothing's changed. And that's what I think is remarkable, is that nothing has changed about the last eight years of trump Ism in America.

Donald Trump, over the last eight years has incided violence against this country, directed a mob to storm the Capitol building, applauded said mob for the attempted murder of his vice president, called for the harm of judges, jurors, and elected officials, made jokes about the attempted murder on Paul Pelosi, Nancy Pelosi's husband, made jokes about the attempted kidnapping of Governor Whitmer, has threatened jurors, has threatened former members of his party,

has threatened his former personal attorney, Michael o'cohen. Has called for the overturning of our elections. Has told us that there will be blood in the streets, has told the American people that immigrants are tainting the blood of this country. Has said that if he is not elected in November, that there will be a blood bath. Folks. The list

goes on and on. On Saturday, Secret Service broke with I don't know, decades upon decades of protocol to give Donald Trump and the Republican Party a photo op, because a photo op of blood on Donald Trump's face pumping his fists was nothing short of WWE spectacle, right, Because what you're supposed to do is what Keith Boykin had

shared over the weekend. If you don't follow him, you should, which was video of the assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan back in the eighties and another incident involving Donald Trump back in twenty sixteen where he was covered and ushered off, not given the opportunity to expose his head his body right in order to grandstand so that he could turn around and then hawk T shirts and mugs and whatever

other bullshit this grifting Party does. I'm going to offer as much concern, care, and empathy as Donald Trump and the Republican Party offered to Paul Pelosi, to Mike Pence, to Governor Whitmer Right. I'm going to show as much thoughtful as they did to the election workers in Georgia. I'm gonna show as much compassion as Alex Jones did to the parents' family, friends, teachers, and loved ones in Newtown. To me, what happened on Saturday doesn't change a fucking thing.

What it does is make crystal clear how willing and complicit the media is to perpetuate whatever narrative Donald Trump wants. So now it's this big assassination attempt. Donald Trump is fine, he went golfing on Sunday while the President of the United States try to unite the people in this country with calls for nonviolence. Instead of Donald Trump uniting the people and the media saying stupid fucking shit, li like, oh,

this is going to be a tone change. All of a sudden, Donald Trump is going to wake up and show how presidential he is. Remember when Van Jones said that about him. Oh, Donald Trump became presidential today, because apparently, when you're seventy seven year old white rich man, we're still waiting for adolescence to kick in and for you to become an actual man and not just an overgrown toddler.

Violence and political violence at that in this country is at an all time high because of Donald Trump and the Republican Party. So what they experienced on Saturday is the chickens coming home to roost. Right, you call for bloodbaths, you love guns. You replace the American flag on your lapel if you're a Republican member of the House, and replace it within ar fifteen, and then all of a sudden, you want to call foul when guns are turned on you.

I'm surprised those people even ducked because they love guns so much. They offer thoughts in prayers when it's classrooms of children being shot to death, but vote for elected officials who do nothing. America is a shell of itself. And let me just explain that America has never been

has never been perfect. America is an imperfect country. Where a lot of people over the last eight years have become incredibly conscious to the hypocrisy that America offers when it pertains to our stance on democracy in this country

versus what we do around the world. As I speak right now, millions of children are starving to death in Gaza, not be because there is a lack of food right a lack of resources, but because evil is in charge, and we continue to provide that evil with as many weapons as they possibly need in order to eviscerate the Palestinian people. Those are facts. Donald Trump was shot at the blood was not from a bullet, but from fragmented glass that hit him. Those are facts. Donald Trump is

also an insider of violence. Those are facts. We don't pretend to know the truth about who somebody has shown themselves to be because they've experienced firsthand the same violence that they've been calling for for eight years on their rival political party. I don't understand how this creates media amnesia. I speak to you today as morning Joe was taken off of the air because MSN is willing without even

being asked to capitulate to the right wing. You take a knee without even being forced to that is just a preview of what the media will look like if Donald Trump wins and become president for the very last time in twenty twenty five. I come to you today as ailing Cannon has dismissed the Document's case, which was the strongest case against Donald Trump, citing bullshit. This comes off of the heels of the Supreme Court giving Donald Trump complete immunity. Folks, I don't know. Are people sick

of losing yet? This game was rigged and stacked beginning in twenty twenty and I would go so far back as to twenty sixteen, because, to be honest, I'm not convinced Donald Trump won that election fair and square, and I'm gonna say it. We didn't do any type of investigation into the disinformation and misinformation that was coming from Russia.

We did nothing to talk about the ways in which the media was being manipulated, which we only knew following the election interference case, which now the sentencing is going to happen sometime in September and probably most likely not happen at all given what the Supreme Court has done. It is game, set match right now. We're at the end of it. There are no more tricks up the sleeve. There are no more judges and courts to rely on

to save this country. Everything rests on the decision that the people of this country will have to make on November fifth about whether or not the project of democracy had a great run for the last two hundred and forty eight years. But now they're done. And right now now you have Democrats doing god knows what, bending over backwards to show solidarity with the Republican Party. Who if Democrats if Biden had been shot at what the fuck

do you think Republicans would be doing right now? Do you think that Donald Trump would have paused his ats? Do you think that Donald Trump would have said, you know, I called Joe Biden and I wished him and his family well and said that I'm praying for a swift recovery. You think that that would fucking happen, And don't talk to me about oh, you know, well, we need to

be the better person. Why where has that gotten us except it lost us a fucking Supreme Court seat because there were no challenges made to Mitch McConnell, So Neil Gorsich gets sat. Then Mitch mcconnald rushes through Amy Cony, Barrett Joe Biden doesn't fucking challenge that either. So you have two judges that gets sat, no robust investigation into Kavanaugh. Three judges get sad. No calls for investigation into the drifting ass Clarence Thomas, no calls for investigation into the

right wing fucking religious fanatic Samuel Alito. When we talk about being the adults in the rooms, it means doing hard things, even if they are deemed to be unpopular, which means investigating people that you know are doing bad shit. It does not mean letting it slide and pretending that all of a sudden a tone is going to change because an act of violence occurred, the very acts of violence that they fucking applaud on a regular goddamn basis.

And so now I'm supposed to have amnesia. We're supposed to all forget how the fuck we got here in the first place. Folks, let me tell you something. People want to walk on eggshell if they want to, but I'm gonna walk on the truth. Donald Trump is a violent dictator. Donald Trump has the courts in his pocket. Donald Trump has the media in his pocket. He has big business in his pocket. The last thing that he needs are the voters to fall for his bullshit one

more time, because that's it. All we get is one more fucking time. Because after that Project twenty twenty five takes over, Donald Trump puts on his dictator hat and guess what, folks, ain't nobody coming to fucking save us because we will cease to have any allies. The rest of the world will be scrambling on how to figure out how to stave off the reorganized access of evil with America at the helm. So first we want to spend over two weeks talking about the fact that Joe

Biden should step aside. Now we're gonna spend another two fucking weeks talking about how Donald Trump is a second coming of Christ and isn't he a hero right because he took a bullet for this country. That's the fucking hot shit that they are saying. And it's hot shit because we know that he wasn't fucking shot at I felt the bullet grazed my ear, No, you felt glass. It doesn't make what happened any less tragic because people lost their lives and are critically injured. But is the

media talking about those people? Know they are not. They are just doing what they do, which is giving Donald Trump wall to wall coverage. They played this so perfectly, it's almost as if it was scripted. What I know is that the world, this country is in a world of fucking trouble. What I know is that they need one more piece for their full picture, their full reimagining of America to come together, for their full white supremacist,

Christian nationalist fantasy to become a reality. That one more piece is the ballot which following that election, if they win, they will blow up. So you know, am I feeling optimistic? Am I feeling encouraged? Absolutely not. I wasn't feeling it and haven't been feeling it since July first. What day are we on? The sixteenth? It's been absolutely two plus weeks of the undoing of American democracy and absolute fucking chaos.

And now the Republican National Convention begins. Donald Trump will shut announce or by the time that you all listen to this, you will know who the VP pick is. And I'm assuming it's someone just as vile, just as media savvy, just as aligned with white supremacy and patriarchy as Donald Trump is. But ask yourself why does Donald

Trump need another vice president pick? Oh, that's right, because Mike Pence, along with forty other members of his cabinet, have not endorsed him for president of the United States, and they had a front row seat to his administration. But we gloss over that. No one is going to come and spoon feed the facts to you. You cannot trust mainstream media because they have their own clickbait agenda and also all of their CEOs are Trump supporters and donors.

All you can trust right now is your gut, is yourself. All you can do right now is organize. Organize, organize if those are phone banking, text banking, knocking on doors, donating money, holding roundtable discussions in your community. What do you need to know about this election? Telling people about Project twenty twenty five and why it is important for

them to understand what is at stake. We the people need to do the work because this election is falling on our shoulders and if we can't shoulder that responsibility, then we will fall to our knees in worship of Donald Trump from now until the end of days. That's it. This is what Keith Boykin, CNN analyst's author, has posted when speaking about Donald Trump. He can't be prosecuted in office. He can't be impeached because the courts should decide. He's

immune from prosecution after office. He can't be prosecuted by Biden's DOJ because that's quote law fair, and he can't be prosecuted by a special counsel. We have created a dictator and to sign off today's wokeaf with the words of Justice Sonia Sotomayor, with fear for our democracy, I dissent. That is it for me today, Dear friends on wokef as always, power to the people and to all the people. Power, Get woke and stay woke as fuck.
