So I have to say that Kevin McCarthy the Republican Party

is an absolute shit show. And I go and state this as so many people are writing these bullshit think pieces where they are saying that Democrats shot themselves in the foot, And I ask you, how when you recognize that the other political party in the United States is filled with terrorists when you realize that we should not negotiate with terrorists because when you try and give them an inch, they will take a foot a foot of

rope and then hang you with it. So I'm confused about why anybody would be putting out pieces or commentary around what it is that Democrats did wrong in this moment, because that goes to show you what the fuck is wrong with corporate media. Democrats didn't do anything wrong. Democrats are united around their minority leader, Representative Hakeem Jeffries. Democrats did the right thing to avert a government shutdown when

the Republican Party said, let them e k right. So every time that there is a narrative that comes out that wants to say that Democrats should do a better job, I know that that is coming from a place of gas lighting partisan bullshit, because Democrats did exactly what it is Kevin McCarthy deserved. Kevin McCarthy, who served as what speaker for a handful of months after a humiliating fifteen votes, and now the vote to vacate the speakership never happening

in the history of the House of Representatives. And you want to turn around and blame Democrats for your ineptitude understanding that Nancy Pelosi had the same fucking margins that you did, was voted as speaker confirmed twice, and got a everest worth of work done with the same margins

that you couldn't manage to get anything done. And also a note for these fucking cable news anchors that are having Republicans come on to talk about their historic policies and how they're working on behalf of the American people. Here's a tip for you all that seemed to struggle with asking questions and cutting off Republicans that are using your show as an opportunity to grandstand on absolutely nothing.

Ask them what policies they're proud of. Ask them what policies they have put out under Kevin McCarthy's tutelage that have advanced the American people's lives in any which way. Ask them what it is that they are so proud of that didn't require Democrats to also show up. Just ask ask the fucking basic question that we know that you won't. I have to say that you know, I

don't care if they put in to the speakership. Mickey Mouse Hitler you know, Donald Trump or whomever, I honestly don't give a fuck because I have come to a place with this Republican cult, white supremacist party where and I said this on social media, if their implosion comes with collateral damage, that's fine with me. I'm okay, right, because at the end of the day, these people have

to go one way or the other. They are dangerous, right, they are liars, they are extremists, and they are honestly going to stop at nothing. You add Lindsey Graham this week, taking to social media saying that Judge and Goron in Trump's fraud case needs to be taken care of. What

the fuck does that mean? Right? And where the fuck is the FBI Every single time that one of these motherfuckers who want to open up their mouth and threaten somebody, because we havebnormalize political threats in this country and behavior. Now, this case that he's being tried for Donald Trump right now is not a criminal case, so jail is not the option. But understand that these judges actually have a lot more power and discretion than

they are choosing to use at this time. And I keep saying, it is clear to me that these people are waiting for somebody to be killed. They are waiting for somebody to be harmed. Right. Who follows Donald Trump's instructions that these judges and DA's and jurors and what have you need to be quote unquote taken care of, right, and then when it happens, you'll see these same motherfuckers want to send thoughts and prayers. So here's the list

Donald Trump in the last few weeks labeled the New York Attorney General Letitia James, who's suing Trump for fraudently inflating his wealth and assets on financial race records, as a racist and a monster. He said Special Counsel Jacksmith, who's prosecuting Trump in the January sixth and classified documents cases, is quote deranged and psycho who looks like a crackhead posted on line in all caps. If you go after me,

I'm coming after you. One day after swearing in federal court that he would not intimidate witnesses in the election interference case, he mocked Paul Pelosi after he was brutally assaulted by a home intruder that was searching for Pelosi Nancy Pelosi his wife, and called for police to shoot shoplifters on site. Those are the things that Donald Trump

said in the past few weeks. Here's what Sherilyn Eifel says to all of this, and I want you all to listen up real clear, She writes, I now believe that we have been groomed, yes, groomed by Trump to accept greater and greater breaches of law, ethics, decency, and norms. We need to start reacting again and preempting reset the boundaries. At this rate, the worst will be upon us before we even realize it. I believe that the worst has

Why because every time that you move a boundary, every time that you shift a fucking goal. messed with. But when you continue to bend to their will, all you end up doing is having them push arder and then removing you out of the way altogether, which is what the Republican Party is trying to do to

the rule of fucking law. You know, folks, I cannot stress enough that when you are talking to your fellow colleagues, friends, family members, and they are saying to you that there is no difference between the political parties, please list out all of the things that I just did about Donald Trump and see what they would do if you had changed the name from Trump to Obama, to Clinton to any other Democrat, and see exactly what it is that

they would be okay with. And then when again, I want to go back to cable news for a second, because when you allow these Republicans to go on television to grandstand and say that there is no difference between what Donald Trump has done and what Hunter Biden has done. I want folks to remember, Hunter Biden is not an elected official. Hunter Biden never ran for office. Hunter Biden never held office, So any wrongdoing that he does is on his own. He's not harming the American people or

the system. Donald Trump, however, is. I'm just you know, folks, I'm so fucking tired. I'm just so fucking tired of the double triple standards that are put up. I'm so tired of the stupid fuck in both sides ism. I'm so tired of all of it. Right, And you know, I have to say that I don't honestly believe that this country finds its way back. I think that wherever America lands up is going to be the new normal, which is going to be a mix of atrocities, devastation, disease, destruction,

and death. And I'm not saying that like tongue in cheek.

I'm actually being really serious that if you and your family, and these are things that I'm talking about with my own family, do not have plans for what happens if the Republicans are able to steal the twenty twenty four election, and then if nothing happens with Donald Trump, and he's not thrown in jail, and the people that ate it and embedded him are not thrown in jail, then we're going to keep holding our breath every four years, praying to God that we continue to hold on to democracy

with our claus because if people are not held accountable for treasonous behavior, actual treason, right, then there is nothing that is going to remain off limits. CHERYLN. Eifel is right when she said we need to reset boundaries, we need to actually be outraged. But my fear is that our outrage meter is exhausted. Right. You have this state of Georgia has rewritten its own judicial laws to now hide the names of DURA members as well as their

addresses because of Donald Trump's mobster behavior. But is that making front page news. No, We're going to talk about Joe Biden's age and the fact that he wears sneakers and stutters. I'm just so fucking over all of it. I gotta be honest with you that there are points of every week and every month where I get to, you know, right over the edge of my breaking point, because nowhere do I see people really taking this moment seriously and in history if in fact, there were books

left and there is a country left. They will say, how did they not stop this? They had every ability to stop this, They had every ability to use the full force of the law in order to stop this uprising, and they didn't. They kept hoping and swearing on people's better angels. Well, when people show you that they're aligned with the devil, folks, how many times do you have

to look for their better angels? I'm just confused, you know, it is I just you know, And what I wrote is that you know, we have fallen for the ropodope, little shrug by, little shrug looking away. Oh, Donald Trump, he'll be better and learn. We've allowed the monster to grow and now it's out of control. didn't put the TV off, didn't close the laptop. What will he do next? What will he say? And now here we are and the man is calling for death for a general that dedicated his life when that draft dodging motherfucker couldn't be bothered. I just I like where we are just remains absolutely wild. But before I head out, I do want to draw your attention to other stories, which is this Kaiser Permanente, one of the largest, if not the largest, healthcare providers as of this recording, went

on strike. This is according to CNN quote. On Wednesday, more than seventy five thousand unionized employees of Kaiser Permanente, one of the nation's largest not for profit health providers, walked off the job, marking the largest healthcare worker strike in US history. How many times do we have to hear this, folks? In history, in history, biggest in history? Right? Why are workers striking across industries because they're sick and tired of watching the fucking wealthy get over on them

right while putting their lives at risk. All people want is a decent wage so that they can afford a home and food and medicine, right to take a vacation, to be able to have sick days so that they can take care of their children, or their elderly family or themselves. Right, health care basics. But the greed, folks, denies the basics from happening. So why are people striking?

Because they're fucking over it? Because as they're working forty fifty sixty hours a week and staying in the same fucking place while they're watching, the CEOs of these companies make tens of millions of dollars a year. The rich got super rich during COVID while the regular Americans were

at food pantries. We're watching as the you know, child childcare time credit which helps people be able to afford childcare so that they can continue to work, expire, right there's no hope for it being written back into being extended because fuck them kids. Oh my god, it is you know, it's just some days, folks. It is overwhelming. So the striking employees who work across California, Colorado, Washington, Virginia, Oregon, and Washington, DC are striking for the week and it

is because their negotiations. Their contracts expired on September thirtieth, and negotiations haven't gone anywhere. And basically this is a warning shot to those in power that are doing the negotiations. And this is what the statement from Kaiser quote, our team is available twenty four to seven to continue bargaining with the coalition until we reach a fair and equitable agreement.

We remain optimistic. There is still time to find agreement before any of the work stoppages called by the coalition unions begin at six am on Wednesday. Clearly, that did not happen, and the strike, however, as I'm saying, is temporary. The Kaiser Permanent A workers will return to work on October seventh at six am local time. However, a longer strike may come in November if a deal between the Coalition and Kaiser Permanente is not reached after the strike effort.

According to communications from SCIU UHW and folks, you know what are these people asking for? Basically, they're demanding higher pay, a strategy for kinds of permanent A management to tackle chronic staff shortages, protections against against outsourcing, and earlier notice when management calls remote workers back in person to work. You know, during COVID, these are the people that were being applauded right for just that little hot minute, for

being essential workers. And guess what they have gotten nothing but that applause that only lasted a few months, in return for putting their lives and the lives of their family on the lives to protect the rest of us. The least that could be done is giving them a living fucking wage, one that looks at I don't know, hazard pay, because that's what it means to work in the United States these days. Oh folks, it's all sometimes

just too fucking much. And this is just one of those weeks that I was hopeful for the end, excited to take my mini reprieve, which I encourage all of you if you are able to do so, and if you're not able to afford to go someplace, let your mini retreat be, you know, visiting a new bookstore, going, you know, picnicking in a park, just turning off social media and reconnecting with somebody that you haven't talked to in a while. Create your own mini retreats because we

need them, because the times are too consequential. What is happening is happening at breakneck pace, and you know in a conversation that you will hear that you heard yesterday with Jonathan. Chronic disease is at an all time high,

right and our life expectancy is going down. And so a part of that care is self care, is taking care of ourselves, working out, eating ripe, taking breaks, resting on a regular basis to lower our cortisol levels to make sure right to remove the disease inside of our bodies, because these times, y'all, mm hmm, they're coming for all of us.
