Last Call For Democracy

raising consciousness. It is about educating ourselves and the people around us about systemic oppressions, about creating the level of consciousness that it takes in order to imagine and create new world outside of where we have been living and existing. I think that where we are right now is in an extraordinarily low vibrational place. What do I mean by that? I mean that when you look around, everything and everywhere is just wrapped in hatred, in violence. We are watching

what is not normal, folks. And I've been thinking about this. Netanyahu spoke this week, you know, hailing his massacre of thousands of children and folks. Let me preface this by saying again that I as I every time that I talk about Israel and Palestine. I am not a foreign affairs expert. I am not an expert on the Middle East. I am not a historian. What I offer to you is my own opinion based on my experience fighting for justice and the liberation of all peoples. How do I

do that through my microphone? Through education? Right, I see myself as a teacher, and I'm not going to get into a back and forth about who is right or who is wrong. Where I stand is on the side of humanity, is on the side that tells us, with all of the technological advances that we are making, that war is our only answer. War killing of thousands of people is how we think that we're going to advance

peace and democracy. That in all of the evolution that we have done and have seen around the world, right, that our war mongering minds are still in their rectilian state. We have been brainwashed into believing that when aggression shows itself, aggression can only be met with aggression. And you know, I've had people tweet at me and post at me, and I will trust, trust and believe I've removed shit with the quickness. I There is not a democracy on

my social media page. Let me put it that way, right, you say some hot shit to me or to people that are commenting, you will be blocked but the reality is that people are saying, you know, well, you've told America not to invade. You know, in World War Two, do you know that it took six million people to be dead, six million Jewish people right to be murdered, for the United States to intervene, And that what we

are witnessing right now. Just mind you, just mind you. Right, in World War Two, there was no social media, right, you relied on photographers on the ground to be able to then send those pictures back. We are watching war and murder, right did deaths of children in real fucking time? Bombs go off? We are seeing the videos instantly. That's not normal. It is not normal for us to literally be taking in the trauma and the devastation of war

in real time. And so do I believe that the outrage that we are seeing people have around the world is absolutely supported by what they are seeing with their own eyes and the fact, frankly, that they are losing what was already on shaky ground, which was the trust of their elected leaders, whether they are their prime ministers

or their presidents. I watched a post go up. I can't remember what side it was on because a friend send it to me and it was like this reporting that was not validated, right, that said that their shamas had beheaded. You know, this woman, one of the concertgoers, right, wasn't seen like verified anywhere, right, but it's flying around

social media. And I got to tell you that the comments shocked me because the comments that people are just like, we don't believe a fucking word that is being said here, like this is all propaganda and it hasn't been verified anywhere. So people are aware, right, We're all becoming really aware that we're being played, right, that we are being played and our sympathies are being played and manipulated. Because here's where I stand. I don't care how a child prays.

I don't care what they look like. I don't care what their sexual orientation or their gender identity is. You have the right to fucking exist by virtue of the fact that you were born. You have the right to exist free, free from violence, with self determination that should not have caveats. And what I have witnessed from our own government, who those hands are so fucking bloody right now, is the justification of what many are saying are the

breaking of international law. Israel is using chemical weapons, Israel is bombing densely populated areas. Israel had turned Gaza into a prison open air where borders from c to the other side to the other side are locked down. Those

people have nowhere to evacuate to. So when I heard Secretary Blincoln talk about the fact, well, israel Is told the folks in Gaza that they should evacuate, maybe maybe you should offer up the true truth, which is that there's nowhere to evacuate too, because guess what, the United States hasn't called for open humanitarian corridors so that those people can get the fuck out of harm's way. That's what the United States hasn't done. So you're not telling

the truth. Net Nyahu said, get out of the north and go south, and then you bomb the south. You bomb the south, You tell the people to go back to the north, they go back to the north. You bomb the North. They are bombing refugee camps, they are bombing residential areas. They have already been fifty nine United Nations employees that have been killed by airstrikes, thousands, thousands

of children dead in three weeks. And I'm listening to the President of the United States and the Secretary tell me that that's okay, that that is just a byproduct of what it takes for independence and people having their own you're defending yourself against children, That's what you're defending yourself against. That's what we should be giving fourteen billion

of our dollars towards. I continue to say, I continue to say that what is happening right now is the biggest erosion of faith and support in this current administration. And they don't realize it. They do not realize that young people Generation Z right, forty seven year old millennials right, are not interested in having our money go to the

murder of children and call that self defense. That black people and brown people in this country who know through our genes over generations, the language the justification for our lynchings, our murder, our rape, our incarceration is the same fucking language that's being used. I saw an ABC News article that I posted that said, Oh, there is looting that is happening, looting when people have nothing, Are you fucking

kidding me? So they should want to leave money behind as they run for their lives from a series of bombs that are dropping. Are you fucking dumb? The same language that they use during Katrina to say that, and the same language that DeSantis used when the looting starts. The shooting starts to justific justify murder of innocent people that are trying to just get are bare fucking necessities met.

We're not stupid. And in fact, the world really is watching, and you're watching protests, marches take place everywhere in this country and in cities around the world. I'm watching people get fired for saying that there should be a cease fire, people get fired for saying that we must come up

with a better way. These smart, smart people that are developing technological advancements and creating policy around it, you can't think of anything better than bombing children, hospitals, refugee camps, and don't get me started on the fucking part and parcel of the hospital. And tell me, well, Daniella was that, I don't give a fuck. I don't give a fuck because the distraction is in the oh, well, we dropped seven thousand bombs, but that one that wasn't us. I

don't care. What I care about is watching the erasure of an entire people in real time. What I care is that this week Secretary of State Anthony Blincoln sat down before the Senate Appropriations Committee gave his testimony, was interrupted multiple times by activists and protesters shout out to them asking for another fourteen billion dollars of our money to go to war with a people that have nothing,

literally nothing. I will tell you, folks that the reason why I believe right now that the far right, this anti Semitic group of people, you know Marjorie Taylor Green with her Jewish space lasers, and the comments that have been made and said that caught on tape right from elected officials on the right, the reason why they are so staunchly supporting Israel right now is because what is happening, what they're giving a grain light to, is exactly what

the white evangelical quote unquote Christian nationalists would like to be able to do in America. And that's what their plans are. If they win in twenty twenty four, there will be no constitution, there will be no freedom of speech, there will be no freedom to assembly. There will be blacklists, there will be open air prisons, there will be the carting off and the imprisonment of anyone like myself who

speaks out. We will be labeled as enemies of the state put away, locked away right for the quote unquote safety of everyone else. Everything that has been happening in Israel and Palestine over the last fifty plus years is what America would have looked like had the Civil Rights Act not disrupt the desire for white supremacy and the criminalization of all black people. We had a Supreme Court, activists, fighters, leaders that were assassin during that time period because they

wanted right to remain separate and unequal. They wanted a multi track quote unquote democracy, democracy for white Americans, servitude and oppression for Black Americans and everyone else. I saw with my own eyes when I went to Israel in Palestine, and I said, oh my god, they this is what

we exported. We exported hate, we exported segregation, we exported violence, and they put their own little spin on it and then created a narrative that a loud for it to persist, this two tiered system and be hailed as a democracy of the Middle East. How sway, how how did that work? Democracies mean that everyone is free, not some people. I

where we are as a globe is terrifying. You are watching the formation of new axes of evil, right You're watching Russia make moves and Iran make moves, and China make moves, because, let me tell you, the longer that this parade of bomb happens in Israel and Palestine, you are gonna watch Biden's numbers tank, you are gonna watch growing outrage in this country, and there's going to be no one that is going to carry the blame outside of the Biden administration that is trying to get reelected

and in doing so, trying to cast the Trump administration as anti democratic, which they are, as dangerous, which they are,

as white supremacists, which they are. But then if you're offering up an alternative that doesn't recognize the humanity of all people, what you are going to have is a bunch of folks be like so, I'm just not gonna vote, which will open the door to the final, the final call of fascism in America, where everything, every agency, every realm, every system that has been able to hold on for dear life these last eight years will give way, and

then we're fucked. Then we're fucked. I already believe that there is no turning back to where we are right now. I already have been sitting on my couch and thinking to myself, I need to pack a go bag. Should probably start like really preparing as much as one can prepare, right, because what felt decades ago far away, whenever there would be a conflict right that would arise oceans away, it would feel like, oh it would Oh that's distant from us,

that would never happen here. I don't know about you, but I no longer feel that way. I don't know about you, but I find myself saying it's only a matter of time that either we're attacked from the outside or from the inside, or both. And so again you find yourself struggling, crying in despair. Know that you were

not alone. But as I continue to say that while wokeness is indeed a choice, it is a choice to live consciously, it is not a choice to live in misery, and that you do no one any service right by not having gratitude for even the illusion of safety that we are living right now. And this is after another mass shooting that killed over close to two dozen people, But currently, right now in America, we're not packing up and running for our lives and running to the nearest border.

So give gratitude for that when you go into the shower, when you turn on the fresh water to wash dishes, don't think about your tasks like, oh my god, I have these things to do. Be grateful that you have a home town to do those daily mundane tassin. Give

gratitude while you're washing the dishes. Maintain a beautiful and meticulous house, because there are millions right now that are displaced, that have nowhere to go, whether it was climate change that ravaged, a fire that ravaged parts of Hawaii, literally wiping people out, burning them alive, whether it's bombs that are dropping that you can't avoid because again there is

no place to go. The opportunity to even sit here and record right now in the safety of my home is a privilege that I'm no longer taking for granted because I don't know how much longer we all have. And so the greatest way to fight despair and grief is with gratitude, is with love, is with organizing, with your group of friends, with your colleagues. What can we give, where can we donate? How can we show up to better what it is that we have and also help

those in need the most. That's what we're being called upon to do. That's how you climb out of despair and grief with actions of kindness, love, and gratitude. Empathy is not sitting and watching body after body be carried out from the rubble. It is being conscious and aware that this is happening and it has to stop. But sitting in it day in and day out is not honoring those people. I'm not saying to look away all

the time, but I'm saying to look inside. To look inside and figure out what you can do in this corner of the world to make life better, safer, wholer more connected. That is how we fight the darkness by being and creating light. That is it for me today, Dear friends on Woke af AS always power to the people and to all all the people. Power.
