Folks, there are some Wednesdays where I struggle to come up with, you know, what's the story, what's the thing that we should focus on that other you know, mainstream media outlets are not covering that I want to bring to you, or you know, how am I feeling these days about, you know, living inside a croubling democracy and how that's
taking its toll emotionally. But today I came across a story y'all that just I started crying, And you know you're going to be like, well, which one? Because there are just so many heartbreaking stories. There's stories of you know, Palestinian children being blown to pieces. There's stories of you know, just the abhorrent, disgusting genocides that are taking place on multiple continents. We are focusing on what is happening in Gaza, but there is also the Congo, there is also Soudan.
There's so many fucking places where there is pain. Today's story, however, I'm going to focus domestically because the media does a terrible job in connecting the dots between the hateful, fucking rhetoric that comes out of the mouths of Republicans and acts of violence. Right, there's always this, you know, for
legal reasons. Let us pretend that when Nicky Haley, right, uh, speaks at a town hall and she wants to attack young trans people who just want to play sports, which, by the way, is like one percent of you know, the popular not even one percent of the population, right, but one percent maybe of the population of kids who play sports. And I think it's probably like point zero
zero something. But when these Republicans like Nicki Haley, like Donald Trump, like Rob Rob DeSantis, Ron Greg Abbott and others, state representatives and official school board members create policies to not just marginalize, but these poes are basically the green light to bullies, whether they be students or teachers or
administrators in schools, to abuse non binary and trans youth. Which, if you've been listening to me for quite some time, right, you already know that trans kids, non binary kids LGBTQ kids are doubly likely to commit suicide or attempt suicide then their straight peers. Right, They are more likely to
be homeless than their straight peers. So when I came across the story of Next Benedict out of Oklahoma, and I came across the story on lgbtqation dot com because the story is yet to make it into the mainstream and I don't know if it will. I hope that
it does, but I don't know. I was sick to my stomach, like absolutely sick to my stomach, and I want to tell you this story right now, and I'm just going to read you a piece of the article because I don't want to miss anything and I don't want to get anything wrong, and I want you all to be very clear about what happened Next Benedict. This is according to LGBTQ nation dot com and the story is entitled teen beaten to death in a school bathroom
bullying attack. The school didn't call an ambulance. The non binary teen was killed in a school targeted by on line hate activists. The stories written by Daniel Villereal Next Benedict and non binary Native American sixteen year old sophomore was repeatedly beaten to death on February seventh by three older female students in the bathroom of Oaso High School in Oklahoma. The school refused to call an ambulance for the injured teen and didn't inform police of the attack
until Benedict was later admitted into the hospital. They died from the injuries the next day. Web commentators are blaming Oklahoma's top educational official, Ryan Walters for Benedict's death, as Walters has pushed inflammatory, anti LGBTQ plus rhetoric during his tenure.
Walters also recently hired an anti LGBTQ s Q hate activist, Chaia Reischek, who goes by libs of TikTok on social media, for a state school book banning committee after she targeted the OASO School District for employing a pro LGBTQ plus teacher who was later fired. Quote. I know at one point one of the girls was pretty much repeatedly beating Benedict's head across the floor, a person who identified herself as the friend of Benedict's mother, even though a teacher
eventually walked into the bathroom to stop the fight. The friend added she couldn't walk to the nurses station on her own, and staff didn't call the ambulance, which amazes me. The story goes on, though the hospital released Benedict on the same day of the attack. They returned to the hospital the following day and then died while hospitalized. The friend said that the teen's death was caused by quote
complications from brain trauma. The school and OsO Police Department have both refused to comment, as the investigation in the teen's death is ongoing. In a letter to parents, OASO Public Schools said it was increasing security personnel, updating safety drills and its rules on disciplinary violations and whull supervision, and providing additional student resources, including on campus counselors to
speak with students distressed over the murder. A go fundme crowdfunding campaign raised twenty seven thousand, eight hundred and thirty six dollars for costs associated with Benedict's death before no longer accepting donations. A memorial service for Benedict was held at Maori Funeral Service Chapel on February fifteenth. The article goes on, folks to talk about this child, this sixteen year old child, next Benedict, the things they liked, the cat that they had, the hobbies that they had, and
what can you say about something like this? Much in the same way that Republicans after every mass murder with a gun, every mass shooting, they want to tell us now is not the time to be political. This child
was murdered because they're non binary. Because that person Chia Racheck Libs of TikTok, the fucking homophobe transfo piece of garbage who targeted that very school, was then hired by the top education official to lead their book banning and their what witch hunt for LGBTQ teachers and administrators to create the hostile environment that would then kill this team and have school authorities do nothing, not call an ambulance,
not call the police. This is a hate crime. Not only should those fucking kids be charged with murder, so should the school. So should the top education official, Ryan Walters, so should try or write check you see, because nothing is gonna stop these people until they have to pay penalties for their quote unquote rhetoric. These words are violence. They give people the permission to be their fucking worst when it is coming from elected officials up on high.
These are the examples that these children have. They're told that LGBTQ people are predators, that they're groomers, that they're on godlike, that they're animals, that they're disgusting, and then they take those words, they load them up, and they act on them with horrific acts of violence like this one that cost next Benedict their lives sixteen years old. Why isn't this story mainstream news? This isn't just queer news.
This is about the kind of country, the kind of fucking poison that Trump is unleashed around this country, the permission that his grotesque rhetoric gave for these quote unquote Christians to be their worst fucking selves. This story breaks my heart because you know what's gonna happen more of this Donald Trump becomes president of the United States again. The Heritage Foundation has announced that one of their first acts will be to name America a Christian nationalist country.
What they are telling you every single day, it is not a secret. It's not in some secret documents hidden in a bathroom. It's right up on the Heritage Foundation dot org. Their project twenty twenty five to undo democracy civil liberties in this country. They have their own LinkedIn filled with twenty thousand plus people just waiting in the wings to not swear an allegiance to the Constitution, but to Donald Trump and probably to their Christian white God.
You know, the one that sanctioned slavery, the one that sanctioned the beating of your children and your wives, the one that is about subjugation and domination. People want to talk to me about what is happening in Gazo, which I talk about on a regular fucking basis. I know what's happening. I know that it's horrific. I know that it is hell on earth that is being created and
funded by the United States of America. I know that just recently, once again, the United States objected to an immediate ceasefire because clearly, not enough children have been murdered, not enough civilians have been killed yet. But I want you to understand that we are between a rock and a hard place right now. Not that administration. No, no, no,
because you can call for a fucking ceasefire. I'm talking about us, the voting public, because if we do not vote for Joe Biden, who is the only Democrat that is running for president of these United States, then what is happening and what has been happening over the last seventy five years in Gaza, will happen in the United States and there will be no stopping it because all of the people, the heads of military, the heads of state, the Supreme Court, there will be no one to appeal to,
because the Heritage Foundations Project twenty twenty five will make sure that the only people that are in positions of power are Trump loyalists, ones that are loyal to the cause of Christian nationalism. So you cannot fight for democracy if you lose your own. You cannot appeal to people's morality and humanity when they have none, When in the place of their hearts lie an empty, vacant, voided black hole.
We are in serious fucking trouble. Next, Benedict, this sixteen year old child, I pray to God as a Canarian a coal mine to open up people's eyes to what the fuck will be happening in this country again. Why do I say again? Because lynching wasn't a crime because you could go down streets and see black bodies hanging. This is not a joke. This is not a oh maybe we'll get them next time. This is about our lives.
This is about young trans children's lie, black children's lives, little girls who want to grow up to be something other than somebody's wife chained to a kitchen with no
choices about their future. Because if you think that what Alabama just did by outlawing IVF and if you don't know, go to my TikTok and my Instagram page where I put up a video that the Alabama Supreme Court just outlawed in vitro fertilization saying that embryos have personhood, and their chief justice of that Alabama Supreme Court, oh, he quoted the Bible in the decision that they made. There's no separation between church and state, and if the Christo
fascist habits way, there never will be again. So what do you think that they're gonna come for? Next? Birth control? All forms? So what future does that give girls and children with uteruses in this country? It gives them none. Then what do you think that they'll go after much like they're doing with the black venture capitalists, they'll go after funding for HBCUs. They'll defund those universities because they don't want black people educated. They want them broken and submissive,
with nothing satisfied with the scraps. They are coming for every fucking thing. They are not mincing words, they are not using euphemisms. They are saying it out loud. And proudly what they want America to be. The question is what do we want America to be? Because let me tell you something, just being anti their shit is not enough.
It's time we move from the whack a mole of the injustices that they are putting out and start thinking about, and start dreaming about, and start creating the type of America that we want to live in. Because let me tell you, folks, all bets are off after November if they win, and I'm sure as fuck won't be sitting here when they do, so I will do every fucking thing that I can between now and then to wake up as many people as possible, and I need you
to be committed to doing the same. Don't go yell at that aunt and uncle or that mom and that dad and tell them that they're stupid and that they're maga and that they're this. You need to talk to them from a place of love, because only love can drive out hate. That is what Martin Luther King said, and that is the fucking truth. You cannot match their fire with more fire because it will only burn this
entire country down. We got to win over who we can, who thinks that this election Oh, I'm gonna sit this one out. It's gonna be a protest. You can't protest from prison, You can't protest from inside a camp. People are talking about the courageous Russian activists who was just murdered in prison by putin his parents, his family, his wife, not getting the body back for two weeks so that whatever type of poison that they gave him will be out of his system, out of his body. You see
him one day, Oh, he's fine. In the next day, he just happens to die. That is what Tucker Carlson wants America to look like when he goes to Russia and he says they have it better than we do. Who is he talking about? Not those that protest. Four hundred people were picked up in protest of Navalni's death, of his murder. What do you think is gonna happen to those people? You think that they're gonna be released, No, they're gonna be put in some penal colony, beaten and
