2024 Is Not Locked In

Wednesday about the Biden administration. I posted on threads and for those of you who follow me on social which I know that there are a bunch of you who do I post it on threads, and I don't post a lot on either of those kind of written platforms anymore.

I do most of my posting on Instagram, but I post it on threads and and what I said was something to the effect of a quote tweet that I had about the fact that this administration, if they do not get their shit together, as it pertains to people's collective outrage about funding this war on behalf of Israel against Sibelians, over ten thousand of which have been killed right now, more than half of them being children, that Joe Biden will lose this election and that does he

want this to be his legacy. I posted that. I also posted a video in my stories by a white gentleman on TikTok who was clapping back against many creators right that he's coming across that are referring to Joe Biden as genocidal Joe. Genocide Joe is what they are calling him in social media. And he said, regardless of what how deeply he differs with this president on this war, that he's like, the alternative is to usher in fascism and theocracy into America and I cannot This is from

this gentleman's TikTok. He said, I cannot in good faith tell my kids that I allowed this country to slip into fascism and theocracy because I disagreed with the current administration's stance on this war. He goes, it is not as cut and dry right as people are making it seem. And so here's what I want to articulate today, which seemingly, you know, obviously social media has absolutely no nuance. You

have a finite amount of space. But there is somebody who listens to me on a regular basis that says, how dare I essentially make these comments and pin you know what is happening in Israel, and godza on Joe Biden that how can you pin something that is happening in another country on this president. Let me break it down so that folks understand, right, and if you don't believe me, then go do your own research outside of just listening to this show. Right. I encourage everybody to

do that all the time. The fact is this America, not just under Joe Biden, and not just under Democrats, but Democrats and Republicans alike, have been footing the bill, meaning our tax dollars have been footing the bill for Israel, the quote unquote only democracy in the Middle East since it was established. Right, The fact is that we American taxpayers send billions, multi billions of dollars a year to

support Israel's defense. We send weapons to support Israel's defense because, as every Western nation has said, Israel has a right to defend itself. What it does not have the right to do. And let me state this boldly and clearly, is killed ten thousand civilians right, No, it doesn't have the right to do that, just like Hamas did not have the right to kill over fourteen hundred Israelis and kidnap hundreds of others understand that Hamas is not a

nation state. It is a terrorist organization, right that is funded by partly Iran. Israel unlike Hamas, because Hamas is a terrorist organization, is not and has never needed to abide by international law like a nation state actually does. Israel is not abiding by those fucking laws. And we fucking know it. Why because we have two goddamn eyes

and two goddamn ears. And regardless of the bullshit that is coming out of everyone's fucking mouths, the people around the world see what the fuck is happening, which is why just this week in New York City they shut down Jewish Voices for Peace, shut down the fucking Statue of Liberty, calling for a ceasepire. It's why you see people from Indonesia to the UK, to France, to Washington, d C. And other cities and nations around the world

standing up against and inhumane law breaking. Is rarely administration whose own minister said that dropping an atomic bomb is not out of the question. After the statement with regard to dropping an atomic bomb not being out of the question, Prime Minister Natanyahu of course had to walk back those statements and say that that was never on the table, regardless of whether the bombs bombs that are being dropped or atomic or not. We know that chemical weapons are

being used, which breaks international law. We know that civilians are being targeted, which breaks international law. We know that hospitals are being targeted, which breaks international law. We know that there is an inability to get humanitarian aid in which breaks international law. We know that Gaza is pretty much a open air prison with the inability of free movement. So even if the people wanted to flee, which they fucking do, they can't because the borders on either side

are shut down. Also, a few weeks ago, if you remember when Netanyahu said, you have twenty four hours, two million people, twenty four hours to move from the north to the south. Will you'll be safe? He's now bombing the south. So where are those people supposed to go? Nowhere? They don't actually give a fuck. So why do I say all of this? Oh? I don't know. Because without the United States billions of dollars a fucking year, they would not have the resources to orchestrate this type of

military attack. That's what we know. And the bullshit narrative that is being stated that says, well, Hamas is using these people as human shields. So your response would be, then, what to blow through those civilian human shields because you think that you're gonna blow up your way to peace and stability and security. That's not how it fucking works.

It's not how it has ever worked. And speaking of the tons of bombs being dropped, the massive destruction that has already been caused, the massive amounts of death that has already happened in less than a month, right is almost just as bad, and by the time that it's all said and done, probably worse than what took place in Hiroshima, just without the radiation. But if you're using chemical fucking weapons, we know that something's going to go awry,

whether it happens in a year, ten years, or twenty years. Folks. I state this all the time when I talk about these issues. I am not a foreign affairs expert. I am not a historian. I am a black queer woman that lives inside of America and knows injustice when I

fucking see it. I also visit it Israel and Palestine, the West Bank, Jerusalem, Hebron, Ramala, and I saw with my own eyes, the conditions that you couldn't tell me is anything less than a democracy, right, Think about your history books or whatever is left to them, and what you learned about Jim Crow, which you learned about apartheid in South Africa, Think about that. Let those pictures funnel

through your brain. And for anybody who's had the opportunity to go to the quote unquote only democracy in the Middle East, it don't line up, is what I'm gonna say. The titles democracy and what I saw with my own fucking eyes don't line up. So right now, Joe Biden, who for his entire first term has been unable to climb his way out of the low forties, and approval

ratings has dropped down into the mid thirties. And while I tell you all the time not to pay attention to polls, particularly this early out, but what I will say is much in the same way that that your horoscope astrology doesn't tell you everything that you need to know, but kind of gives you a better understanding or some kind of understanding of personality traits or why things react

this way. Blah blah blah blah. This is the same way that looking at these numbers vote for Biden right now, when genocide Joe is trending in places like TikTok, where young voters are when your pull numbers are dropping, and in swing states, Donald Trump four times indicted ninety one charges is somehow five points ahead. Something clearly is not

aligning right, Something clearly is not making fucking sense. So Joe Biden deciding to jump the gun and hop on a plane to go hug up on net and Yahoo is probably one of the images that if his policies don't change, and instead of calling for a pause, he is calling for a full on cease fire and time to do some diplomatic negotiations to not be associated with the entire massacre of an entire population of fucking people

who have no ability to defend themselves. Maybe maybe there will be time for people to recognize that, Okay, he is making a pivot, right, he is recognizing that, oh, actually this isn't at all going How I thought that this was going to go. More children, more people have died. Right in the last three weeks, then we have witnessed I think in the first fucking year of Ukraine and Russia.

You guys do the math through the googling. But I can't imagine that anyone who cares about the state of our humanity believes that wiping ten thousand people from the fucking planet is the way that we get to liberation here. It's not. Martin Luther King said darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. And what I believe is happening is that light is being shed on where America has been standing. You know what'd your Lord once said?

And it was a quote that was going around on social media that stated that we are citizens in this country, in the United States, of one of the most powerful nations, or at least you know, we're backsliding and probably you know, will be off of a cliff soon. We're currently, though, still citizens of one of the most powerful nations that has always been on the wrong side of liberation movements, has always been on the wrong side from slavery till now.

What does that say? I know what it says right now that collectively, hundreds of thousands, millions of people across the world, across this country, are using their voices and their platforms to say enough death. We've seen enough death. We've seen enough dead babies being held up to cameras right because the President of the United States said, I don't believe the Palestinians and their numbers. You mean, the

same numbers that you've been using for decades. Now all of a sudden you don't believe them because they're not saying what you want them to say. I have never been under the false impression that America does not do dirt, horrible,

disgusting things around the world. What is different about this time is that we're all watching it happen in real time, that we're not waiting for the news to funnel things through to us, that we are seeing it and witnessing it firsthand, and that the idea that we should not believe our lying eyes but the words that are coming out of some of these politicians' mouths, is just not jiving with us anymore. Let me be very clear in

state that the alternative is Satan. I need to work with a kind of politician that can be worked with, and I believe that Biden is that. I believe that Biden is led astray right now, but I believe that

he is somebody that you can actually work with. The alternative is the fucking Handmaid's Tale and Donald Trump weaponizing the Department of Justice, right, weaponizing the military, right, basically doing right, watching what Putin does, what Netan Yahoo is doing, what Ergodonda like, watching all of these people and saying, oh, hold by beer, just wait until I'm elected again. So this is that not at all saying don't vote for

Joe Biden. What it is saying is that I need people to wake the fuck up and realize that there are a lot of people who are considering sitting this election out because of what they are seeing and pretending that that is not the case, or just shrugging our shoulders and saying fuck them is going to fuck all

of us. So just maybe maybe we want to start paying attention right, We want to start acknowledging that how we feel about just holding our nose or swallowing or doing whatever it is that you need to do in order to ensure a Trump presidency or any fucking of those piece of trash Republicans don't become president of the United States. There are people who are willing to say, oh, let's just burn it all down because they are not

really connecting. Fucking disaster not just for us here but globally Republicans introduced legislation to kick out Palestinians from this country, those that were born here. Do you understand? So, if they have a Donald Trump or someone who wants to imitate him in the White House, what will stop them from getting rid of anybody from ripping up your birth certificate and saying you have to prove that you're an American and that means your allegiance wholeheartedly to white supremacy,

rite and patriarchy. You think people that look like me, that love like me, write, people that pray differently are going to be included in that? I don't fucking think so. So while my anger is absolutely fucking real, I want people to understand that the choices right now are still very obvious. It's American fascism, theocracy, and parable of the sewer and Talent Octavia Butler's nineteen ninety three book series

coming to life in a very real fucking way. Or being able to admonish and push a president that still believes in the values and the sanity of the Constitution. Those are a fucking options. So I need folks to

get on board. Don't just shrug, don't just say flippantly, oh what does what does what is happening in Israel have to do with the twenty twenty four election, Folks, Wake the fuck up and Generation Z that people want to just shrug at there who help save Biden's ass in twenty twenty Right millennials right who are now forty, who are having kids, have kids. It is not about oh I'm gonna They're looking for alternatives. And we saw what happened with Jill Stein in twenty fucking sixteen. Let's
