Do not be impressed with yourself. God wants to build a passion for compassion in each of us. If you want to be healed, heal others. When we are Christ like, we live for others and not for ourselves. Pride opens up to selfishness.
We should give value to the fact that God gives us wisdom. It is not that you want something, but the fact that you value it. To walk in wisdom you have to first value it. Fair, Just, Upright & Blameless. These four words make up or form a shield around us. Whatever you grab ahold of from the tree of life is what you will transform into.
Love is not rude! According to the Bible it is cool to not be rude. It is just the worlds way to be rude. Even if someone is rude to us does not mean we have to be rude back. Being nosey and curious about others is just plain rude. Always magnify the good in someone. Watch your body language as it can be the rudest way to communicate.
If you walk in the way of wisdom you walk in the way of Jesus. Be wise, don't be fixed in what you do, learn from what is being taught. The fear of God is the root of wisdom.
Word of Grace is wanting to be known as a church that everyone feels as comfortable as they don in their own home. WOG sanctuary will be known as the "Big Living Room"! Only 5% of the church is witnessing about Jesus, we need more people to witness.
Pride is the foundation that satan builds on. We can be right but have the wrong attitude. Burden = see the need of others and be touchable, be sensitive. We need to take a daily walk around the cross of Jesus Christ to see what his passion was and learn from it. We need to have a pure heart just like Jesus. Pride stops the flow! Pride comes before the fall!
The book of Proverbs holds a sacred appointment for each one of us with Christ. Wisdom is crying out to us for us to learn the way to go and ways to stay out of debt. To be a student to wisdom we must be committed to what we are doing.
Everytime we attach or criticize someone we are placing horns on them. Love does not boast, seek recognition from others. Love does no envy. If you boast in anything, boast in the cross of Jesus. Love does not parade itself. Be who you are! Humility and love is being sensitive to the people around us. The more blessed we are, seems like the less sensitive we become.
You have to be willing to surrender to learn wisdom. Apply the heart to know wisdom. What you put into something is what you will get out of it - that is wisdom. It is important to be humble to learn or receive wisdom. You have to have a teachable heart. Wisdom guides you!
Love will not only cover a multitude of sins but will prevent a multitude of sins. If we spend too much time striving for excellence then we lack in mercy and kindness. God is still working on us and we will not exceed excellence until we are dead and in heaven. Envy is what we cover up on the inside. Envy opens the door to plot against.
Love is patient......withhold punishment to passover sins and hurts. Be silent just as Christ was when he was accused. Do not retaliate or show anger, but be silent and show patience. Kindness in the long run will pay off.
We want to be possessed by wisdom. Don't just get something, possess it! Wisdom is my teacher. Diligence involves the heart. How bad do you want the love of your beloved?
God's love is a love to make you somebody. Love is the only power that will keep you from quitting. You cannot make it on your own, you have to depend on agape love.
Wisdom Part 2
Even when you and your spouse are not in agreement you are being beaten together by the Holy Spiriit to be one. You and I don't have the love of God, to give people what they want. Love will bond us together.
The palm tree speaks of the outter structure and the cedar tree speaks of the inward structure. Palm tree doesn't have knots in it and and straighter, nothing out of order. The cedar tree has knots and it was used for furniture as it was stronger. We are like the cedar, we will be stronger and straighter than before. If you make wisdom the central part of your life then you will get the wisdom and more than you ever had.
You have to get in the right atmosphere to worship, praise and receive the Lord's Blessings. The Lord wants fruit and is looking for those that are fruitful. Rejoice in the Lord whenever you are feeling anger or depression. Love will cover a multitude of sin.
How many want to make wise decisions? House speaks of security, peace and protection. Build your house on a rock or solid foundation. Don't just be a hearer of God, be a doer of God.
Fruit comes through the process. You are judged by your fruit. Open up your heart to a fruitful person. The fruit says you are connected with Jesus Christ. The joy of the Lord is your strength. Meekness makes the ground fertile. Whatever you are interested in you will be fertile in.
False prophets are self appointed and we have to be careful of their words. Signs and wonders are not the sign of a true prophet. All activity will be exposed for what it is. The Lork knows those that are his.
Jesus is always looking for fruit. The vinedresser is the intercessor. Let mercy triumph over judgement. The fruit will bring the favor of God over your life. Love and be patient with yourself as you are with others. The fruit comes from living and abiding in the vine. Self control is a fruit of the Spirit. The word God means absolute authority.
Decide now in what direction you want your life to go and live it the correct way. We are entering into the last days. Choice not chance determines your destiny. Don't look for short cuts to God. What comes natural to a person leads to destruction.
If the same issue keeps coming back in your life, you have to get rid of the root of the problem. It will continue to come back if the root is not destroyed. Depression will keep us from fullfilling our purpose. Remind yourself you have a God.
Practicing the Golden Rule is an investment. Those that live by the Golden Rule today never have to say they are sorry later. Do you put as much energy and effort into others as you do for yourself? When you pray detailed prayers for others then God will hear your prayers and see that you are trying to live by the Golden Rule.
94% of all depression is non-chemical in nature. A depressive thought life is one of the roots for depression. You can chose the way you think.
The righteous will not lack anything. To overcome worry learn to laugh. Worry affects your spirit, sould and body. Worry will zap your strength. 40% of what we worry about will never happen, only 8% of what we worry about will happen. Worry is unworthy to God, worry is a sin. We have go to quit worrying.
There is a storm coming, do you know where your anchor is? Do you know who your anchor is? Your anchor is in God! Never put your anchor or faith in man.
Fasting creates an atmosphere... Denying yourself for fasting of others...
