Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Nico's life took unexpected turns—from being an athlete to battling opiate addiction and alcohol abuse. Overcoming adverse childhood experiences that he had repressed, Nico delved into substances, leading to an opiate use disorder. By age twenty-two, he found himself homeless, relying on unconventional means to support his addiction. Witnessing the loss of loved ones to overdoses and reflecting on his own near-death experiences, Nico realized a profound purpose in his survival. He broke free from the grips of addiction but faced challenges with alcohol abuse. Through perseverance and exploring various counseling methods, Nico ultimately embraced personal development as his path to healing.

Today, as an author, graduate, and business owner, Nico uses his life's journey to inspire, coach, and empower others. He believes in finding purpose, navigating challenges, and embracing imperfection as part of the human experience.
