Episode description

Voir Dire…French for “to speak the truth” is the process through which potential jurors are questioned by either the judge or a lawyer to determine their suitability for jury service.  In this episode, we discuss the jury selection process for the Jonathan Crews trial. We take the listeners into the first day of jury selection as we examine their body language, eye contact, answers to the juror questionnaire, and answers to questions from Crews attorney Tom Shaw during selection.  What is a perfect juror for this case? An ideal juror would be someone who can remain impartial, unbiased, and open-minded as they review evidence and listen to testimony from witnesses.
